    I developed tinnitus after a corona infection. My ears were clogged, dysfunction of the eustachian tube and a weird clicking in my ears when I swallowed. I was sick for 3 weeks, but the ear dysfunctions remained. The worst 3 months of my life for sure. This video helped me sleep, but luckily my tinnitus is gone now. For anyone who is panicking right now and searching shit on the internet: don't do it, you'll only stress more about it and your tinnitus will get worse. Stress is your worst enemy. It CAN go away, it takes time (it can still go away after 6-12 months.) Believe me, I know it's hard I've been there too. Go for a walk, listen to music (not too loud), do the things you normally do. You can do this.

      My tinnitus started one random day 2 months ago, and one week after that I also developed weird clicking sound in both of my ears when i swallow or yawn. I was hoping it's just eustachian tube dysfunction but I also have moderate hyperacusis in both ears, so it's probably an acoustic trauma after all. I tested my hearing up to 8K hz and its fine, so probably the problem is in 8K hz-20K hz frequencies. But if it's a noise induced trauma WHY the hell do I have loud popping in both of my ears? Doctors don't know, I don't know, nobody knows it seems. I am SO SO HAPPY you recovered from this hell! I think there's nothing in this world that feels better than recovering from tinnitus. I would give anything for one quiet day...ANYTHING. I hope you will never have to experience this again. I now feel better knowing some people can recover from this

    My Tinnitus is super loud and consistent and have had it for about 5 months now. This particular sound therapy is the only relief I have found to help so far. I listen to it as much as possible during waking hours and the entire night. I find it much more effective when I use an ear bud instead of background noise. I have started to see quieter days after every 1-2 days. I am hopeful as the frequency of quiet(er) days has been increasing. Thank you very much for providing this therapy.

    This helps to drown out the similar sounds I hear in my ears 24 hours a day. It's very debilitating and tends to make my anxiety peak. I feel as though I will never know true peace.
    Going to bed at night is when it is the worse (as it is for most).
    Thank you for creating this audio. I listen to it for most of the night and it helps me drift off to sleep.
    It's weird because even though I constantly hear this noise naturally and it drives me mad. Listening to it in another format keeps me sane.

    When I first acquired tinnitus, crickets seemed to be the only thing that calmed me and blocked out the ringing somewhat. We lived in the Country and my wife would find me walking at late night hours down the country roads. I'm sure the entire town thought I was insane, but it was the only relief I could get. It robs you of your peace of mind, after a time, and when you cannot sleep for weeks on end you begin to fall apart. Few experience the level that I have suffered, thank goodness.

      I had mine start in one ear the left following a car crash my car was struck from behind at red light
      I have times when the Canada's are so loud I can't think. If I'm stressed is when it's the worse
      I've listened to people who claim to be fellow sufferers who have 6 bottles left for $49 per bottle or risk running out. They stress me out with their perfect description of what I'm going through. I'm sorry I have not tried any of their cures but have developed extreme hatred for their stories when they are running out of the cure and you should only buy 6 bottles for $49 EACH. THE sound diversion is the best I've found. I listen to singing contestants before bed with headphones and comedy. This is not a funny thing to deal with I wish you the best.

    Thank you. The sound exactly matches what I have heard constantly for a few months and it completely stops the sound in the right side of my head while it is playing and for a short time after that. The noise gets very loud at times. This therapy finally gives me total peace and quiet. Other methods of clearing my ear didn't work as well or stopped working. I have no idea what causes this vibration. There is no pain and apparently no hearing loss in my ears. I'm otherwise apparently very healthy. It was probably caused by a video I heard months ago and it's not going away. It goes on while I sleep. This morning it was much milder when I woke up, after I listened to this last night. Cicadas used to disgust me, now I love them. Now I also enjoy listening to the real bugs outside. This brings back good memories from childhood.

    I have had Tinnitus for decades after extended computer room noise exposure. When I got hearing aids in 2009, I discovered that they greatly reduced my Tinnitus and frequently wore them at night to get Tinnitus relief.
    August of 2022, I got Earlens hearing aids, which were a GREAT improvement over my conventional hearing aids. They also provided Tinnitus relief. Since they are rechargeable, which is a significant battery cost savings, I got Tinnitus while the Earlens were recharging.
    Discovered the several TH-cam Tinnitus videos that give me Tinnitus relief. Their single tone or sweeping tone gave me relief while my Earlens were recharging. I recently found the Cricket sounds and they helped me. This is my favorite. I play the sound level so I can hear the Crickets but not the background non-Cricket sounds. This means that to me, I hear Crickets interspersed with silence. Wonderful, I love it!!!!

    Yes this definitely off sets the terrible ongoing high pitched tinnitus i have suffered from for ages. Nothing else worked, nothin! This actually does help nullify the noise and its better because crickets are natural sounds. It even lasts for a while after listening , leaving a different more acceptable hum....but it is relieving for sure!

    It's funny, I've always told people that my tinnitus sounded like a field of crickets to me. I've heard that some people hear roaring or hissing so I felt pretty fortunate. It never bothers me during the day, but at night sometimes it does. After just a few minutes of your cricket sounds in a headset (I wasn't sure how loud I should play it) I noticed a big difference. Amazing!

  • @williamjordan7177
    @williamjordan7177 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ahhh.... This is a good one... There are so many of these here on TH-cam and only a few do anything for me but this is one of them. I think it has a lot to do with the different "layers" of sounds at different volumes. Your ears try to focus on the distant crickets and the water and then there's the much louder cricket that really "hits the spot", for me anyway. Thank you!

    I wouldn't normally comment on videos, but after bumping into this clip yesterday (it was getting hard to focus on work while my T was really kicking off) I did find some relief, so last night I used my sleep in-ear phones and one of my (many!) apps to play continuous crickets clips all night, and when I woke up this morning it had made a difference! The 'shape' of my T had changed - it was somehow higher and 'thinner' and not quite so mind numbingly loud and obtrusive. It's not gone, and as I write it is slightly fading back to normal, but not quite at full strength. However, just that brief relief felt like a real gift and a little 'holiday' from the noise, so I definitely recommend giving this type of noise a go. I have always used rain and water-related sounds as my sleeping sound as I thought the crickets would be too harsh, but it really made a difference. Good luck to all!

    Had Tinnitus since about May 2018. Its on left side, I’ve read over the past years- they say its in our brain. Not our actual ears? Hmm, I never read up on it too much.
    But back in 2018 I told my mom that I had Tinnitus & she said she’s had it for years!
    She never ever said anything about it.
    Mine is a low tone and when busy during day I rarely think about it.
    I’m now 53yo.

    • @treblehealth
      @treblehealth  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tinnitus is often linked to the brain’s processing of sound rather than the ears themselves, which is why treatments often focus on retraining the brain to manage the perception of sound. Managing it, like you mentioned, by staying busy and distracted during the day is a great strategy. If you're looking for more tailored advice, feel free to reach out for a consultation!

    The first time I got tinnitus was 3 months ago when I walked in the mall, and I suddenly heard this high pitch noise which I thought it was coming from the outside, I looked at the people around me and they seem unbothered, I asked a cleaning lady and she said she did not hear a noise,
    I ran as fast as I could outside the mall and it all went away, it was pure silence.
    After 3 months I got sick with flu and now it came back, been ringing for 4 days now and I’ve been crossing my fingers that it’s only because I’m sick, or because I have dislodge earwax. I’ll be getting my earwax removed so I’ll give an update

    I woke up a month ago was screaming in my left ear it terrified me! I just set up nothing will make it stop! The next day I went to my hearing Doctor Who said my hearing was 100% and he wanted a MRI as soon as possible of my brain ! I felt he was rushing things so I canceled the MRI! After days and days of the screaming in my head I saw two other doctors who said MRI immediately and the last doctor put me on high doses of prednisone and one of the MRI of the brain!! I found Ben Thompson and sound therapy in my research and it helped me so much!! The cricket sound gave me relief and now I hear crickets 24 seven lightly ! My MRI is April 26 at 8 o’clock and I am somewhat nervous of the results as they said it could be a tumor resting on the nerve in my hand probably benign ! I just think God for the sound therapy that’s helping me hang on and reduce my stress and anxiety😅 15:16

    Dr. Ben - great sound, so realistic - I have always loved crickets and summer night sounds. This pitch is perfect, would you be able to have this sound video made longer to be able to run it over night? Thank you, Your Treble patient, Elisa Maietta Flynn
