I feel Gundogan was a terrible signing, lacking legs in CM right now and he isn't the answer, that misfield vs Wolves of him, Bernado and Kovacic will never work
This is why I’ve always believed Klopp was on the same level as Guardiola in terms of being great managers. The main reason Klopp didn't secure more league titles was due to a combination of injuries and the aging of key players, factors that are now affecting Guardiola at Manchester City as well.
@marvellousnakamba The season after Klopp won the league, Liverpool's entire defense was injured for about three-quarters of the season. Additionally, in the season when Liverpool finished 5th, they also dealt with injuries and an aging squad, with players like Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, and Fabinho struggling with their fitness. Even last season, Liverpool's decline was largely due to the injuries they faced. And don’t forget the League Cup final, where they had to play with mostly academy players against Chelsea.
@@sebenfc1982 You're assuming that Liverpool's injuries are purely down to luck though. Klopp had lots of injury issues at Dortmund as well which is no surprise when you consider he has a very intense style of play and rarely rotates his best players.
@hajones10 The issue isn’t whether Liverpool's injuries were a matter of luck, but that those injuries occurred and had a significant impact on the team. I have no doubt that Klopp could have won more league titles if it weren’t for those injuries.
@@sebenfc1982 this narrative that coty always have the best squad is down to how good pep guardiola is at maximising his players talent look at gvardiol pep turned him into a goalscoring fb he turned stones into a midfielder and we literally won the league without a striker
Great analyssis
They will sign Zubimendi in Jan to replace Rodri and they will be fine. Really letting Lavia slip was a mistake in hindsight
I thought nobody grew up wanting to be a Gary Neville?
Problem was in Walker position

Fun fact they weren’t gonna sign anyone in the summer
They are struggling because for once Pep doesn't have the most stacked squad in the league, let him coach his way out of trouble for once.
Lazy narrative
Ye arsenal and Liverpool have the most stacked squads. No good coaches that means I guess
Stupid narrative
LAZY CASUAL TAKE
You can call it lazy, but not untrue. When did Pep not have the most stacked squad in his whole career?

I don’t think that’s true

And yet people comparing Pep with Sir Alex.
Which is crazy because he’s head and shoulders above him
