I had to look it up. I felt it had the Stax sound, and yes by this time she'd signed with Atlantic. Earlier she'd done some performances with Motown's Funk Brothers. It was Dusty who convinced Atlantic to sign Led Zepplin. She'd worked before with John Paul Jones.
Dusty from England loved America artist and it was reciprocated. There was a time when she wanted to branch out and she wet to Memphis which was a haven for artist. I don’t know all the artist she worked with, but she got real exited with Memphis and recorded this song the read maybe an album I also knew that someone did a cover of her song. Dusty travelled thru time and decades when rock changed but she was Abe to navigate thru the many changes. The Pet Shop boys also from England got together with her and recorded an album and they were way out of her zone. Anything you can find on her is great I don’t know if you’ve reacted t Dimash the singer with between 7 and 8 octaves e has some great hand motions when he sings and I thought he may have watched her in his two masters degrees ad now in his doctorate. A preacher’s son has got to be as smooth talking as his daddy, so it makes sense that he’d be the one to “move” her. Pretty simple. Don’t look for hidden layers; it’s all in the title.
