I was watching the tide come up near the trees. I was getting anxious....talking out loud to the video, “you need to head back, you’re going to get stuck....oh, what are you going to do?” I’m so glad you called for help. It’s so easy to get caught up shelling and lose track of time (for me, at least). So glad for the rescue and the walk today. Have a great evening. ❤️🙏🏻 (Jane in SC)
I was so worried about my favourite shell loving friend being swept out a little way but knowing you carry your phone and hopefully it being charged up, I was hopeful and enjoyed another fantastic beach walk with you!! I found this island offered you such a great assortment of shells including that flat left valve(I cheated and looked it up.) of the scallop and the big Lightning Welk and the 3 Albino shells!! What great finds!! I’m so grateful that you can say, Thank goodness I’m home. I second that!! I look forward to next week same time. Thanks again for a most enjoyable beach walk!!💐🥰🐬

I thoroughly enjoy all your wonderful videos. I've learned so much just by watching them. On a trip to Marco Island last fall, I was quite happy to spend the entire week walking along the water's edge (and in the water quite a lot) looking for shells. I found so many I had to buy an extra duffle bag to bring them all back to Ohio with me. Thanks to you, I was able to identify all of them! I don't know when I'll be able to head back down that way, but I will definitely keep watching your videos until then. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I truly enjoy sharing all the things I'm discovering as I visit the beach. I took my BFF shelling when she came here for a visit. I ended up shipping a bunch of shells home for her 😅

I had 3 days to roam up and down the shore and even took a hoe and dug through the huge shell piles. Thanks to watching you for over a year now, I was able to identify most of what I found. What a wonderful video. So many awesome shells you found. So glad you survived, please be careful we don’t want to loose the best sheller on Florida’s beaches. ❤️
I love how you give commentary in your videos. I have learned so much from you and your adventures. We were down on 10K (Dickmans Island), Ft Myers and Sanibel last week. Got into town hours after the tornadoes came thru. Shelling at Lighthouse Beach was stupendous Monday and Tuesday with literally millions of cockles, pen shells and scallops. I have finally come to realize that shelling is so different from NWF (Navarre) to your neck of the woods. We have tons of Flat Scallops, olives, scallops, Fighting Conch but not many Cockles, Murex, and pen shells. I appreciate the difference and can't wait to go another round!!
I was just down the beach from you on Monday! There was a silly amount of amazing treasures. I do want to try my luck up North one of these days. Shoot, if I have my way I'm going to see ALL the Florida beaches!
Nice you got help and came home safely!! That can be very scary. The power of the ocean is nothing to play with. I hope you have some kind of first aid kit with you. I was once on an island we call sandbar. It's a long strip of just sand. It far out from shore. There was an other family there. The oldest daughter ran out into the waves. In the water was an old rusty oil barrel. She didn't see it. It cut close to the main artery on the thigh. Blood was all over the place. They didn't have any first aid kit and the mom was hysterical, so I put a pressure bandage on. We called our 911 and the police came. They had the fastest boat that was close. They took her a shore and the ambulance was waiting at the harbor. Always good to prepared for the worst and hope for the best😊
What a story - I assume the young girl was okay. That is very scary and yes I do carry some rudimentary first aid supplies should I need them. I completely misjudged the weather on this day - a first and last for me. I'll never let that happen again!
Another great video with awesome finds! I love all of the lace murex shells you found, and the spiny jewel boxes too, but my favorites were the albino ones. You’ve been talking/hunting for those albinos lately and it paid off. So many gorgeous colored scallops ❤️. So glad you made it back safely and how very thankful for the Marco Island Police.
A true sheller, you were worried about losing your shells! What a day you had! All those lace murex and albino ones were cool to see. Glad you made it back ok. Thanks for taking us along with you!
First I saved my backpack, then the shells, then the paddle in that order LOL! I had too much fun and found too many beauties to leave any behind! Thank you so much for coming along with me!
Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you called 911 and were delivered safely back to the marina. Never underestimate the power of the wind. WOW, those albinos were awesome. That's shell goals for me. Thanks again for a wonderful video!!
I learned my lesson the hard way! But I'll never do that again and with any luck I can maybe save someone else from making the same mistake. I hope you have a wonderful week!
I learned the wind lesson the hard way too. Help did not come unfortunately until after a passing boat picked us up. I still have scars on my legs from swimming into a oyster bed trying to flip the kayak over. The lesson I learned that day… never kayak alone. Glad you made it back safe.
Oh those oyster beds are really a danger and your experience sounds horrible! Kice isn't all THAT far from the marina and the mainland so luckily the whole cell-service thing worked. I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience. I hope I can help someone else learn from my mistake!
That was a close call. I know you prefer to shell alone, but it would be better to have a kayak buddy. I know you learned some lessons. And luckily your are a smart lady. I had a close call at this same spot last year. Even with good planning for wind, tide and conditions, things can change rapidly. All is well that ends well and now you have another adventure to tell. I do love your videos. Thank you for taking one for the team.
I'll be paying particular attention to the weather on my upcoming kayak adventures for sure! Thanks so much for coming along with me on my beach adventures!
You lucky girl! What a wonderful visit to Kice Island, I loved every minute of it. The albino lightning whelk, the second albino lace murex and that flat scallop were so beautiful, and the glorious variety of just stunning shells was amazing! I’ve been kayaking for years and would recommend taking sometime to actually just train in your kayak in all types of weather (safety first of course) so that you will always have that in your in arsenal. Last year the hubby and I kayaked to Dickman’s and Kice, inspired by you, and we definitely encountered strong winds on the way back and were glad of our experience training in wind on our local lakes. So glad you didn’t loose anything and were able to land your kayak and get help. Wow, that was some video!
When I bought my kayak the gentleman said there are little electric motors you can mount on it. I thought it was cheating and now I'm thinking a little motor might not be the worst thing to have just in case. I'm definitely going to look into it and I'm definitely NOT going to be going out to island in storms or crazy winds like that ever again!
You know, I just can’t believe how many totally awesome big shells you guys have on the beaches in Florida ..there is absolutely NO WAY you’d find anything remotely like those or the amount here on Perth beaches. We perthites would completely die from a heart attack if we had such beauties at our feet along beach walks. I truly just can’t fathom all your shells…and the variety! OH MY LORDY….blows me away. I might go for a beach walk soon n record it on my phone showing the extremely boring dull things I find…il let you all know so you can watch the excitement 😫😂😂😂💙💙💙🐚🐚🐚
I grew up in New Jersey and the beaches are quite lacking there as well (however apparently if you know where to look you can find a thing or two). I fell in love with the beaches down here and then I discovered the shells and it was all over for me. I am fascinated about all the wonderful shells and creatures that live here. I'm DYING to find an octopus. I hope one of these days I'll get to see one!
I’m very happy you made it safely back with some good help. I was not only drooling over the shells you chose but extremely so over the ones you left. I’m patiently waiting for the shells I ordered now that I figured out the pay thing. Thanks for being so patient with this technically challenged senior. As I was watching this video, I told myself that if I ever get to that island I’d sit in the middle of those piles of shells and examine each. If I capsized with my bag of shells I’d probably sink😂
Wow! What an adventure and I'm glad you survived to tell the tale! Your adventures had me digging through my shell box to see if I could identify my shells ~ I have a bunch of spiny jewel boxes (but mine aren't very spiny, just very bumpy but I love their texture), a bunch a small arks (no turkey wings), clams and scallops, a bunch of Florida fighting conch pieces (I love how they feel after being smoothed over by the sand and surf), shark eyes & moon snails and one baby's ear! My personal favorite is a scotch bonnet I found that has a chunk of the shell missing that perfectly showcases the internal spiral of the shell (and it's mostly white with a hint of color around the lip of the opening) Now I need murexes and olives!
It sounds like you need a trip down here to find a few more shells! Your collection sounds lovely! I LOVE the feel of the really glossy olives. They get me every time 🐚
So glad you made it back safe. It is easy to become overconfident when you spend time daily on the ocean. Looking forward to Lovers Key next week. I was there with my son last August.
Wow, that must have been scary! So glad you got back safety! Lesson learned, always carry fully charged phone & spare battery (maybe in an icepack so it doesn't overheat?). Thanks again for another great video!
The trip before this I ran out of battery! Even my back up didn't work but at least I didn't NEED my phone the way I did on this day! It all ended well I learned a VERY valuable lesson!
If I cannot be out shelling myself, then I can watch you do it! It takes my stress away watching your videos, and I learn a lot, thank you for posting them. Cant wait to get back to shelling in SW FL on the 18th! It will be a marathon week. I'll let you know if I find anything good!
Wow those albinos were gorgeous! My favorite was the flat ! So glad you got safely back to the marina ! That’s a little nerve racking! I remember being in a canoe and if I’d been alone there would have been no way I could have made it back by myself winds were to strong ! I feel for you ! Thanks again for an adventure shelling ! Nice guys to the rescue !
Oh my good, glad you were ok and that you got back safely. Just shows how it is good to be well organised and well planned. Thank you for sharing again x
What an exciting adventure! Thank you for sharing the important lessons. So glad you knew how and when to get to engage the safety plan! ... Those finds were gorgeous! I especially liked that the first little cone really resembled an ice cream cone, and the beautiful flat at the end is just amazing!!
Ironically I had a friend that did get swept out into the gulf and she had to call 911 so I knew that was an option - I just didn't want to use it since I wasn't in any danger and it wasn't an "emergency." At least I got that out of the way and I'll never do that again!
So enjoy your videos. Refreshing watching from Minnesota winters to walking the shoreline with you. Your knowledgeable on that sort of thing- makes it so fun. Happy you found your horse conch. What fun. Anxious for your other videos. Glad you’re safe. Your very brave.
Ahhhhh I needed this my friend! I always need these relaxing beachy vids you create for us. Most of all I’m grateful your okay from your capsize!! Sending love from the cold snowy southeast Kentucky mountains 💗🧜🏼♀️❄️
You do an amazing job bringing us to the beach with you. I must say I thought you were crazy to go out into the storm and I was worried for your safety. Thx!!
So thankful you are safe and that you were treated so kindly. We all have those learning curves. Mine come in the form of "sneaker waves" on our OR coast. Your videos are lovely and so relaxing to watch. The ocean is so powerful. Thanks again.
Oh my gosh sneaker waves are terrifying! I'd never turn my back on the ocean. It's amazing the power nature has. I'm just hoping I can help someone else not make the same mistake I made!
Wohoo! Kice Island is my dream destination. So awesome and those shell piles are a dream. So glad you were rescued by those awesome guys 👍 Stay safe 😁🐚
so glad you made it back safely. i honestly was a little nervous for you when you went out with inclement weather in the area. Great to know what to do should there be such a need while out on the water or beach and salute to the awesome Marco Island police.
Glad you made it safely. Congratulations on those albino shells, was waiting for your video. Can’t get enough of your shell videos. Loved Sanibel Island, want to go back soon
Appreciate your approach to nature!! Thank you! Looking over your haul was amazing! My mother would have loved your adventure (as I) as she loved collecting shells and thought Florida was the best place. You made me smile today!
I really like your trips on that beach, its very interesting and lots of shells to find too. I hope you find ultra rare ones in there. Thank you and more power to your hobby and channel😁🐚
So glad you made it back safely! I love watching your videos! Florida shelling is on my bucket list and I'm writing down all of the places I want to check out. I'd love to find a haul like yours! 🤞
I'm either really dedicated or really thick headed - maybe a little of both! At least I won't be making that mistake again and I managed to now lose my shells in the process! Thanks so much for watching!
Wow Sharmon! I am so glad you got back safely! Nice haul but I think my favorite after the small shells of course 🙂was the beautiful flat you found! You find the prettiest flats! Thanks for the beach time! Have a great week! 🙂
Yikes! Very glad to hear that you managed to get to a safe spot and knew how to get help. You have such a calm demeanor. Nice shells once again. Your favorites would be mine as well.
glad to see you were safe in the end.... yeah, preparation always makes it a bit easier when things go wrong as much as knowing your limits...better than just trying to wing it in the moment. glad you made the calls and they were there for you xx
I really had no idea it was going to be that brutal of a paddle. Well, I learned a VERY valuable lesson and I won't be making that mistake again! Thanks so much for coming along with me on my adventure!
Awesome video - your albino murexes were beautiful as was the quite colorful pear whelk! Loved your honesty in the PSA 😉. I can totally understand how you'd underestimate the wind in your excitement to get to the shells!
You found some nice lettered olives (State shell of SC)...I always love finding them. I’m so glad SC has a shell you can find. NC state shell is the Scotch Bonnet...nearly impossible to find! You sure found a great bunch of shells on this trip. Stay safe! (Jane in SC)❤️🙏🏻
I found one very beach up scotch bonnet on Fort Myers Beach and it was one of my prized shells. I went over to the East Coast and found 5 decent ones in one visit. Go figure! Thanks so much for coming along with me!
Hi Sharmon, Congratulations with finding those albinos! They are gorgeous!❤ And so are the other shells. What a great haul! Thank God for the Marco Island Police department for rescuing you. This trip really was one for the team, also the 4 days of pain in your arms.....🥴 It really made me feel guilty that you went out in that storm to film and collect these great shells for us, but your safety was at stake. 😔 Please, don't do that again. 🙏🏻 I would love to see you around for many more years to come. Wishing you a wonderful week. Stay safe and healthy. Big hug and lots of love, xoxo ❤️, Ilona
Hahaha I doubt she does it just for us! If I lived there and had the love she has for this hobby, I’d probably need to get rescued more than once. But for her sake, I hope she’s careful in the future. 👍😊
I do try to be careful, wearing shoes, staying hydrated but I underestimated the power of the wind and water. A lesson well learned! I have to stay healthy in order to keep brining my beach friends to the beach with me!
@@SWFBeachLife Well, the police guys were very kind. Think you've made some new friends. 😅 I'm glad that you didn't lose your shells. That would have been such a bummer! Now we can enjoy all of them in your video. 😍
On our shelling adventure in Fort Myers last week after those tornadoes we kept finding awesome spiny jewel boxes except they were all alive! I did go home with some amazing and pretty large lightning whelks and some very pretty lace murex shells. I'm happy you made it back safely! I'll be watching your videos every week until next year when we go for our yearly trip to the gulf!🌴🤗
You found live spiney jewelboxes on FMB? That's awesome! I find them there but I have never found a live one there. I was on Sanibel, sifting though the goodies that washed up over there. I have a few more videos to share before I get to those but I'll be sharing them soon!
@@SWFBeachLife I can't wait to watch! I think it's because of the storms they had there the day before we came. We saw so many live shells and even an octopus! I had to double check my shells to make sure there was nothing living inside them. I couldn't believe all of the different shells we found! The beach was littered with goodies 🤗
These videos are my therapy. I love watching them. I went to Sanibel and Marco Island recently but was pretty disappointed. I apparently went to the wrong places. Your videos definitely make me want to go back!
Whoa ! What an adventure ! You are braver than me even venturing out in a kayak ! You really found some awesome treasures 😍 Thanks for sharing your videos. One day I'll make it that way on a shelling adventure.
What an adventure you had. Praise God you are safe and no worse for the ordeal. Many thanks to your rescuers. Safe ending and beautiful bounty of beach treasures.
I recently started watching your videos. And I love shells and searching for them. I’m going to Captiva island in early March for my spring break with family. And I will definitely will be searching for shells around Captiva and Sanibel Island. Keep up the great work! And I wish I could meet you when I go down there .
So glad you made it back safely. I would love to go shelling on Kice Island but no way am I coordinated enough to kayak over there. I LOVE the albino lace murex. Stay safe! Thank you, Marco PD.
If you really wanted to, there are shell tours you can take and you can safely get to and from the island ☺️ I've done a few kayak tours too and they are really wonderful! Thanks for coming along with me!

Love the beach walk there. So many shells to find. I think I'm beginning to tell the difference between a real and fake shark-eye shell but keep on pointing out the difference. I'm still learning. Oh that is a gorgeous flat scallop. Glad you did make it back safely with some help, it did look windy and rough. Best to stay safe than take a chance paddling back. Glad your okay.
I felt so bad I had to bother the nice officers for a ride but there was no way I was going to paddle back. I learned a really valuable lesson for sure! Thanks for always coming along!

I was so grateful to the Marco Island Police! And I'm hoping that my experience can maybe save someone from making the same mistake.
So glad you were rescued and safe. Those Officers seem like kind hearted Men!
They were so sweet! I was so, so grateful 🙏🏼
Glad you made it back safe with the help of the nice looking police 😉
What a wonderful video. So many awesome shells you found. So glad you survived, please be careful we don’t want to loose the best sheller on Florida’s beaches. ❤️
I'd be in trouble even if a sprained an ankle! Not to worry - I'm safe and sound and I have a whole bunch more shelling adventures to come!
Thanks for sharing this experience ! Hats off to Marco Island Police...
Thank you so much for another tri to the beach. With the things going on in my day to day life, this gives me such a great escape!!❤️🐚
Same for me too friend 🤗
@@agds91078 , @Jamie Gatchell Same for me too beach friends!🙂
I thank you for choosing to come along with me on my beach walks!
@@SWFBeachLife - you’re da best!
Watching you weekly from Milwaukee, WI. So glad you are safe n sound to shell some more!!
Thank you! It's a mistake I will never make again!
So grateful that you made it back safe, with some nice help. Love all the different shells, and scenery that you share!
Those hinged spiny jewel boxes and lace mirax are my favs. I’m always in shell heaven when I watch your vids sweet friend.
I'm glad you were able to safely make it to Dickmans!!
Me too!
I’m so happy you were able to get back safely and you had an awesome time finding all those beautiful shells 🐚
Please don't kayak alone. Glad you were able to call for help. Great finds and be safe! ❣
The area isn't remote so it's entirely safe except for the crazy winds and weather. I learned my lesson for sure!
It was hard to choose either saving my backpack or saving my shells - I'm glad I was able to save everything 😅 Happy to help out a fellow shell lover!
My personal favorite is a scotch bonnet I found that has a chunk of the shell missing that perfectly showcases the internal spiral of the shell (and it's mostly white with a hint of color around the lip of the opening)
Now I need murexes and olives!
It sounds like you need a trip down here to find a few more shells! Your collection sounds lovely! I LOVE the feel of the really glossy olives. They get me every time 🐚
@@SWFBeachLife When it warms up, I would love to take a weekend trip down there ~ now I just have to convince my hubby 🤣
So glad you made it back safe. It is easy to become overconfident when you spend time daily on the ocean.
Looking forward to Lovers Key next week. I was there with my son last August.
The island was calling, I just didn't hear the winds warning!! Thanks so much for coming along with me!
It all ended well I learned a VERY valuable lesson!
just LOOK at those shell piles!! I am so jealous but I am so glad you got to shell those piles😆😆😆
So happy you got back safe and thanks for sharing the good and the challenge. Lovin all the shells!! Thanks again for the beach walk!
Absolutely no shame in calling for help! The smart and best thing to do much respect. Always enjoy your video's and your adventures.
Thank you!!! ❤️
If I cannot be out shelling myself, then I can watch you do it! It takes my stress away watching your videos, and I learn a lot, thank you for posting them. Cant wait to get back to shelling in SW FL on the 18th! It will be a marathon week. I'll let you know if I find anything good!
Please do! I hope you have fantastic shelling luck!
I feel pretty confident I'll never make THAT mistake again! At least I didn't lose my shells!
@@SWFBeachLife so true I agree you made the right call and bonus you kept your shells ! Lol
Having been raised in the TB area, I never knew shells were so interesting. Thank you for your beautiful program.
Oh my good, glad you were ok and that you got back safely. Just shows how it is good to be well organised and well planned. Thank you for sharing again x
🙏🏼
What an exciting adventure! Thank you for sharing the important lessons. So glad you knew how and when to get to engage the safety plan! ... Those finds were gorgeous! I especially liked that the first little cone really resembled an ice cream cone, and the beautiful flat at the end is just amazing!!
Ironically I had a friend that did get swept out into the gulf and she had to call 911 so I knew that was an option - I just didn't want to use it since I wasn't in any danger and it wasn't an "emergency." At least I got that out of the way and I'll never do that again!
@@SWFBeachLife I hope your friend was and is okay!
Thank goodness you are safe. Thanks for sharing this experience!!!
So enjoy your videos. Refreshing watching from Minnesota winters to walking the shoreline with you. Your knowledgeable on that sort of thing- makes it so fun. Happy you found your horse conch. What fun. Anxious for your other videos. Glad you’re safe. Your very brave.
Thanks for watching!
Ahhhhh I needed this my friend! I always need these relaxing beachy vids you create for us. Most of all I’m grateful your okay from your capsize!! Sending love from the cold snowy southeast Kentucky mountains 💗🧜🏼♀️❄️
I was just glad I did lose any of my shells 😅 I hope you have a wonderful week!
I'm glad that you returned home safely.
You do an amazing job bringing us to the beach with you. I must say I thought you were crazy to go out into the storm and I was worried for your safety. Thx!!
Hindsight is always 20/20 but I have learned my lesson! Thanks so much for coming along with me!
So glad you made it safely back to shore. Always love your wonderful shell adventures. They keep me going.
Wohoo! Kice Island is my dream destination. So awesome and those shell piles are a dream. So glad you were rescued by those awesome guys 👍 Stay safe 😁🐚
So glad you got back safe! Thank you for sharing with us.
so glad you made it back safely. i honestly was a little nervous for you when you went out with inclement weather in the area. Great to know what to do should there be such a need while out on the water or beach and salute to the awesome Marco Island police.
Yeah, I should have went back to the marina instead of over to Kice but lesson well learned! Thanks for coming along with me!
Well I hope you keep smiling! Thanks for watching!
So happy you made it back from the 🏝
I love your shell 🐚 hunting experiences .
Thank goodness you were able to get help and get home safely!!
I'm glad you're safe and made it back with all your treasure! And what treasure you got there!
They should call that island Treasure Island instead of Kice!
So many wonderful finds! I look so forward to your videos! Thanks so much! 🙋🙋🥰🥰 Glad you were ok!
Thank you so much!
I really like your trips on that beach, its very interesting and lots of shells to find too. I hope you find ultra rare ones in there. Thank you and more power to your hobby and channel😁🐚
Thank you!
So glad you made it back safely! I love watching your videos! Florida shelling is on my bucket list and I'm writing down all of the places I want to check out. I'd love to find a haul like yours! 🤞
So thankful you are safe!! I can't imagine how scary that must have been. You are the most dedicated sea shell collector ever!
I'm either really dedicated or really thick headed - maybe a little of both! At least I won't be making that mistake again and I managed to now lose my shells in the process! Thanks so much for watching!
So happy you made it back safely and what a wonderful video too!
I'm just glad I was able to "save" all the shells!
So glad you made it home safely.
Wow Sharmon! I am so glad you got back safely! Nice haul but I think my favorite after the small shells of course 🙂was the beautiful flat you found! You find the prettiest flats! Thanks for the beach time! Have a great week! 🙂
I hope you have a great week too Donna!
Yikes! Very glad to hear that you managed to get to a safe spot and knew how to get help. You have such a calm demeanor. Nice shells once again. Your favorites would be mine as well.
Wow! What a trip to remember. Glad you were rescued!
Oh my goodness! So glad you got back safely. You got some fantastic shells xx
glad to see you were safe in the end.... yeah, preparation always makes it a bit easier when things go wrong as much as knowing your limits...better than just trying to wing it in the moment. glad you made the calls and they were there for you xx
I really had no idea it was going to be that brutal of a paddle. Well, I learned a VERY valuable lesson and I won't be making that mistake again! Thanks so much for coming along with me on my adventure!
Glad you made it safely back to the Marina!
Great video, loved it.also glad to hear you made it back in one piece
So very thankful you made it back ok. I am sure that was scary! The shells you found were amazing! I look forward to your videos every week!
Oh my! Glad you’re good and made it back safe! Cool shells!
You seem to always find some of the nicest shells on Kice Island. So glad you made it back safe❣️what an adventure for sure 😊.
Awesome video - your albino murexes were beautiful as was the quite colorful pear whelk! Loved your honesty in the PSA 😉. I can totally understand how you'd underestimate the wind in your excitement to get to the shells!
Yeah...a lesson well learned. Thank you so much for coming along with me!
I’m glad you made it back safe. Looks like you had a Shelltastic Adventure for sure! 🐚🏝
It was! Thanks for coming along with me!
Oh my! I’m SO glad you made it safely! Thank you also for the tips at the end and nice shells too. 😉☺️
Hi Sharmon,
Congratulations with finding those albinos! They are gorgeous!❤
And so are the other shells. What a great haul!
Thank God for the Marco Island Police department for rescuing you.
This trip really was one for the team, also the 4 days of pain in your arms.....🥴 It really made me feel guilty that you went out in that storm to film and collect these great shells for us, but your safety was at stake. 😔
Please, don't do that again. 🙏🏻
I would love to see you around for many more years to come.
I'm going to make the rescue thing a one-time deal! I was so embarrassed! But at least I didn't lose my shells!
@@SWFBeachLife Well, the police guys were very kind. Think you've made some new friends. 😅
I'm glad that you didn't lose your shells.
Well I hope if you do come back you'll find lots and lots of souvenirs to take home!
Loved this video! You are so entertaining and a great teacher to boot!
Thank you so much!
I recently started watching your videos. And I love shells and searching for them. I’m going to Captiva island in early March for my spring break with family. And I will definitely will be searching for shells around Captiva and Sanibel Island. Keep up the great work! And I wish I could meet you when I go down there .
I hope you find all the goodies you're looking for and you have a wonderful time while you're here!
Glad you are safe...beautiful hull as always!
Hi everyone around the world. Hope your all well n happy. It’s my pre video watch message….now il settle in n watch n enjoy our amazing shellers sweet voice and some ever so cool shells. Big love n hugs…Lisa the wanna be cool sheller ..West Australia
Ps” I hope you find some thing amazing
Love the beach walk there. So many shells to find. I think I'm beginning to tell the difference between a real and fake shark-eye shell but keep on pointing out the difference. I'm still learning. Oh that is a gorgeous flat scallop. Glad you did make it back safely with some help, it did look windy and rough. Best to stay safe than take a chance paddling back. Glad your okay.
I felt so bad I had to bother the nice officers for a ride but there was no way I was going to paddle back. I learned a really valuable lesson for sure! Thanks for always coming along!
