Here is my Digitally Digested review of the Asus ROG Flow Z13 for 2023. This little tablet is a total beast if you are looking for a tiny computer that can truly do it all.

The color issue you mentioned is due to a setting called vari bright. If you disable that it will go away!
pls can u make a video of the G-helper , or if i may ask , do u think the G-helper is more better than the Asus armory crate?
I will cover it further in my acronym review
G Helper is a God in front of this Armoury Crate shit.
I started loving Asus Laptops just because of G Helper
Anyone know when Asus ROG Flow X16 with RTX 4060 GPU becomes available?
Have you found out yet?
I may get this for video editing because I love the power of ipad m4 but can't stand the os and file system.
I love my z13... other than its battery life
According to other reviews, only the original charger can go above 100 watts. Even 140W chargers are limited to 100W. Also, the original charger can't be purchased separately.
Hi, I’m from Brazil and the dollar today is 5x our currency. My parents are going to US in about 2 weeks and I saved money to buy one of these, but can’t find a 4060. In your opinion, what do you think I should do? Buy an 4050 now or wait for the 2024 version of it? (its to substitute my 1060 desktop)
I really like this device but wish it came with an OLED display. I have the Zenbook Pro 14, and I bought it mainly for the OLED. I cannot go back to an LCD or mini-LED now. I will see what the 2024 or 2025 Flow Z13 brings. I really want the weight reduction.
And which one do you choose? Microsoft Laptop Studio 2 with the speculated settings so far? Or this Rog flow Z13 2023?
Z13 is the winner imo
Have you tested gaming with a 65 watt charger and a 100 watt charger ?
I have. Performance is roughly cut in half .
The unfortunate thing about this device is that it is made by ASUS and is the only tablet that I know of that comes with a dedicated GPU and full sized laptop CPU. I hear many Warranty related horror stories about ASUS recently, and THIS device in particular has a MAJOR problem that the keyboard will die after a couple months of use due to the flex cable built into the keyboard being flexed over and over and eventually snapping entirely. Microsoft and Apple solved this problem fairly early on by simply using higher quality materials for the connector but it seems to save some money ASUS has ignored the issue entirely.
Agreed
thanks for this review! im just wondering - does this laptop overheat when playing games?
Will you keep it?
Yes and no...stay tuned for my acronym review.
You had the acronym unboxing where you did a bit of review in July. Are you working on more of a comparison review now?@@TheDigitalDigest
@@systemoptimizer3542 Full review and more coverage coming.
please, make some test with egpu with thunderbolt. Nice videos!
What power brick are you using in this video?
Looks like a sharge
The color issues is called Vari Bright => you can turn it off
how's the audio quality? if for a 3D rendering, is that better compared to zenbook pro duo 14 OLED?
can you also use the detachable keyboard as a Bluetooth keyboard?
Its dumb its not ram upgradeable
Intel ARC Meteor Lake are the new beast laptops - integrated matching 780M which is decent for gaming now
rtx 4060 musch better
What are you even talking about a 780M and 8845hs is WAY better et terrorize the intel arc, 125H, 155H and even 185H
bruh the cheapest is the one with the rtx 2050
This is attractive! Kind of wondering how it compares with iPad Pro 12.9 in gaming performance. I know that most games only support Windows, but it would be interesting to see how efficient the arm-based games are. iPad Pro doesn’t have a fan, which is both a pro and a con, if the fps is close to Z13 (4060), we can definitely expect a powerful gaming tablet in a few years.
The iPad can't compete with this at all... especially regarding gaming of any kind.
@@TheDigitalDigest haha you got me. My major concern is still the thermal. I don’t like it using Liquid Metal for cooling, which is not ideal for a move around device, and even without that, fan cleaning for a tablet is more torturing than a laptop. I will follow you to see if the durability can last for 2-3 years and how does the self maintenance work. (I also wish there to be a Cellular version though it’s unlikely to happen)
@@crearg8259 The rtx 4060 is much better than m1 m2 m3 . I'm using this machine and it doesn't get hot at all. Play every game smoothly.
Does it have a dedicated GPU?
Rtx 4050
4060 and 4070 also

Would you recommend replacing a Surface Pro 8 with this device?
there's such a huge price difference... if you can afford it ,wh ynot?
I did.
