Subscribed for the FL5 updates, fingers crossed on the oil cooler solving the over heating issues! I've been too risk averse to track my daily fl5 because of the overheating concerns so I appreciate you paving the way. (also, you should get a GT3/GT4 -- zero track headaches)
Amen brother, that is exactly why I have two 4 door performance cars. I want my kids to get giggles from driving country roads, etc. My oldest appreciates the performance of the Type R and GR Corolla, even if only the faintest little bit, they like them, they want to ride in the cars, and that means something.
Not gonna lie, I started following you as a 2023 MKV A91 owner myself. Life is full of tough decisions and sometimes one has to turn the page. Having 5 and 7 year old boys myself I’ve had similar thoughts to you but trying to hold strong for the meantime. Good thing you sold it to a good person
That’s why the FL5 suits me so well. Track ready but also can do the boring school and grocery runs. With the ITS ADS unit it’s now the perfect car IMO.
Just watching the intro, you can see this one hurts! Making the responsible decision is hard for sure, but likely worth it in the long run! That said, that A90 was a magnificent build and I’m sorry you didn’t get to enjoy it more (solely based on the content you posted). On to the next thing, but more CTR FL5 content is never a bad thing!
Be honest you didnt want to deal with the BMW once the wear and tear started happening. And it wasnt as fun cause it was an auto. Jk jk having a 4 seater is a must when you have kids. The experience built with them is forever
Not going to lie Supra never suited the channel and you maybe I'm biased because What made me a big fan is you're a honda guy through and through lol Ep3/s2k/fk8/fl5 then a supra just doesn't feel right LOL but 718? Seems to ba the natural progression lol

Never been much of a domestic guy. I want to stick to something light and the Blackwings are kinda heavy.

No Corolla GRC for me. The diffs overheat after 1 hot lap. Not a really good track car as it turns out.
