- 10 Safest and Most Affordable Places to Live in the United States 2024.
If you are thinking about relocating, safety and affordability might top your list of priorities. However, finding a place that meets these criteria without compromising on livability can be challenging.
This video unveils 10 cities in the U.S. that strike a balance between cost-effectiveness, safety and a quality living experience. Through careful analysis of crime rates, housing costs and other key metrics, we’ve identified places that stand out for their value without compromising on the essence of a good life.
Finding The Safest & Cheapest Places to Live in the US:
To begin, we started with available housing cost data and lists of affordable places to live in the U.S. In addition to affordability, we considered criteria such as trends in population growth and housing costs, unemployment rates and major employers in the area. Next, we evaluated that list against safety data, focusing on violent and property crime rates and including other metrics where available.
This process allowed us to create a list that - unlike some other lists you might find online - features affordable places where you might actually want to live! Kindly make sure to hit the subscribe button and press the bell icon before we start this video about the 10 safest and most affordable places to live in the United States 2024.

I live in Grand Rapids Michigan and it’s a great place to live. It’s only 45 minutes from wonderful Lake Michigan Beaches. You have to tolerate the cold winters here though. We have great Health care and wonderful schools. There is also a huge Atrs community here
I've lived in many regions and areas around the USA 🇺🇸 and discovered that Iowa is the best and safest state with plenty of job opportunities and Des Moines metro is the best and safest metro I've ever lived and worked in .. As far as my life experiences go... I love all 3- Iowa and Des Moines metro and Iowa friendliness ❤🎉
I have been to Des Moines several times and have never EVER seen one single white person ANYWHERE.
@@user-xx6ox6md7y thats a lie🤣
Iowa is deffinetly safe.
Im in IBEW union just looking to travel around the states before I buy house, here in indiana boring....
Greenville was on these lists for YEARS and now thanks to the word getting out…..
People moved in droves, prices and rents skyrocketed. And traffic is now a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!
These affordable places never seem that affordable to me. My home is paid for so, even with high NY taxes, moving seems like it would be costlier than staying.
But you could probably sell your home for way more than you payed for it at this point
I'm going through that now,my advantage is I can down size to a dump ( no kids or wife) free up a lot of cash and get away from high taxes and HOA here in Ohio where I'm at tax is rather high, house is going to need some work, it has slowed down alot here tho, just a short time ago these houses would sell before the sign went in the yard. I need to do it tho.
False
I'm owed alot of Money for 50 years of my life, and he played ownership and bondage most of my life. He wouldn't sign divorce papers for nothing, not even now!?
@@victorialester1634and pay taxes and spend a bunch of money getting a new place…maybe it’s worthwhile financially, but you have to want to move.

Nahh the AI voice 😭

I would appreciate hearing crime statistics in terms of percentages instead of numbers per one hundred thousand. The narrator is stilted sounding.
Where are you?
Louisiana coz ilove Louisiana

Interesting no mention of Gilbert Arizona. The safest and most affordable place I’ve ever lived.
Help
😄
I have lived in Huntsville and after seeing it in this list. I’m considering moving back. I moved to Atlanta and this ain’t where it’s at. Great place to visit but not live as a single man trying to establish himself independently. It’s like slavery 😒
Greensboro, South Carolina
Dont lie to these people🤣
Terrible choice.
And none of them are in California 😂😂😂
So
Acworth GA
Is this place safe and affordable to rent for someone on a $1500 pension?
I use to hang out in Acworth..
@@4kasiavlogsthat is what I have to consider, looking out a couple years I won't be able to make it on my pension if I don't get out of my area. So I have to move.
Tgg
Fort Wayne was rated the most affordable city in the country but didn't make this list
All of the towns selected on this list are in the Eastern Time Zone up until number 2, Omaha (i.e. the first 8 were in the EST, and the last two were in the Central Time Zone and NO towns whatsoever in the Mountain & Pacific Time Zones. And this is supposed to be a listing of the best towns to live in all the United States in 2024. Just bogus. And btw - it’s A.I. generated! Duh.
Because the west is safe but unaffordable. I am in Denver
Arkansas? Eastern time zone??
@@YESJesusisLord100 AR is central. my comment caveats that a couple were in the CST
@@ivearies4187😂 The West is not safe. There's plenty of crime and homelessness in western cities
This is easy to figure out. To find the safest and best place to live in the USA just find the arrears that has the lowest No of minorities
I see you never been to Huntsville AL.
Weirdo
