Hey David! Great vid! Just pulled the trigger on the same exact bike. I plan to get into the advanced settings and make the changes you did, but I would like to first clarify which setting you changed. You said you changed the Amps from 15 up to 30, but then I could not figure out what other settings you changed in your vid. Can you please share your new found settings with me so I can enjoy my Ranger as much as you are yours? It would be much appreciated!
buy the high power output conroller (have a professional install thig dont killyourself doing it i think i paid like $60) plus a second battery using a power distributer. Mine hits 35 without pedaling lol if your interested in how to do it lmk. I might add a dual motor as well.( I bought mine broken for $700, bought the parts from velowave and returned them) bike was under 1 year old with a bad motor and controller.
Didn't see any torque difference when you changed the amps to 30A on the advanced settings. I have the prado S from Velowave and the top speed is the same on PAS. Thinking on changing out the controller
I have same bike but the stark one, I am glad I found you cause they weren’t responding to give me the code, do you know what the other settings are to make it faster?
thanks! i have tried, works for me, but my software with this controller is different. i have to power up with the right brake lever hold down and then release once the system power up. mine is the same password as yours. thanks.
For me, 750W bikes are a bit too puny. This one definitely needs pedalled goin uphill. Might be an idea to try test it taking it on a trip like you did with the Kepler to test it's rideability, accessibility and range and to see how it holds up with traffic.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I try with my velowave ghost, but it doesn't go more than 19 mph ,in throttle. With pedal assistance yes..over 32. Any suggestions??
Does changing the wheel size give more actual speed or does the display just display a faster speed? verified with GPS? I'm in the winter months so I won't be doing too many high speed runs until spring.
@@reubroper1427so you're both right and wrong if you increase the wheel size while dropping the tire width you trick the bike thinking its going slower and actually increase the top speed of the wheel
Sweet Jesus David, let me send you a phone mount for Christmas! I can't have you going off and getting hurt because you had 1 hand on a phone and one on a handlebar at 30+ MPH and heaven forbid lost control... where would I get my ebike content? Seriously though, another great vid. I'm serious about sending your the mount for safety.
@@DavidBrandNew I’m going to toilet paper your house now that I have your address. Haha I’m just kidding bro. I live in Ohio, it’s not worth the flight and cost of toilet paper. You’re lucky.
I seen some electric (standing) scooters going like 60mph+ out of the box with *adjusted settings and I think I would feel unsafe especially on roads with slick conditions
Love the look of this bike with the integrated battery in the bottom tube but me being 6 ft2 280pounds I don't think this bike is going to take me anywhere fast
Whats up bro greetings from new york i am a 6foot 250 pound guy and this bike moooves its fun i dont want to go more than 30 or 45 on a bike its fun going a little fast and this bike does that
Everybody is so sleep on the Freesky line, my freesky himilaya does 34.3 with pedal assist without even a new unlocked controller on it. Mine is 750 watts bafang motor but the step up is 1000 watts and 35+mph.

I clocked in at 31mph peddling on my Velowave Ranger. The real fun is getting the mod to unlock 30+mph unassisted
Have changed the PAS to lvl9? Also setting the wheel size to 26 inch.
mine does 35 no pedaling haha i hacked it hard rides like a dream these motors can really go over 1k watts
@@bradleyzucker4694how did you do it?
Mod unlocked?
I got mine up to 37 (on the dash never checked it with a gps) with pedal assist on the factory settings but i had a longer track to work with

I’m interested, what parts do you buy and where can I find a professional to install it?

My GF has the Velowave Prado S 750w. I’m gonna try to make those changes. Thanks bro!
Did it work?
I think setting your wheel size to the next size up will give more speed.

next size down, so bike thinks its going slower

set it at 27.5
@@kevinanderson5862 the width means nothing
Change pedal assist so it has 9 instead of just the 5
Pretty sure you gotta change settings on the controller and not just the display
How did you figure out the 1801 passcode? 😮

Temecula! Great video!
I upped the settings on my T42 and can hit 34 with a full battery but 35 shuts the bike down! Do you know how to over ride the 'max speed' setting?
DO YOU HAVE VIDEOS ON WINTER BIKE RIDING? LIKE IN THE SNOW ?

I gotta try this on my 1500w bike
I have a 21 speed out road bike e-bike so scary 😮
Freesky does over 30 out of the box
That bike has a lot of the same components as the Engwe
Wildeway does 30!! Folding bike 😮
If you want more speed, just keep pedaling so you can loose some weight😂😏
Zajebiście!! 😁👍
You sell bikes?
Sometimes
My dumbass gave my e bike away
Why
He had to pay rent
