This is very much like the EB20 E-bike, PEB2OFL750W10 that I own. To break the code and go faster, go to the configurations, nav to 07, set controller to 255, save, and exit controller Config mode. Enter back into Confg mode, nav to 7, set to 1, save, and exit. You should easily be able to get to 28 mph, also, if you would like to go ~ 34 mph, set the wheel size from 20" to 29", this will trick the controller into thinking the bike needs more power because of the wheel size, this will not burn anything out because the 750 W has a max of 1000 W and you will not use that even at 34 mph.
Actually changing the wheel size will not trick the system to use more power to go faster as you claim. Sure the display will show 28+ mph, but you are still going Max 20 mph. Try testing with GPS and not just looking at the display on the bike. I tested this with the jasion eb7 2.0. Mac speed on that bike is 20 mph, not even close to 28mph. Changing the setting only make the display show false speed.
1000$ is a very tricky price point to set with almost any e bike. The quality change from Jasion X-Hunter at $1100 to even a $1250 - VITILAN i7 Pro, Polarna M6, or The ENGWE Engine Pro is extremely noticeable. All aspects of the 3 bikes mentioned; Suspension, build quality, battery, motor, paint, lcd screen, brakes, etc.. are superior to the Jasion. All for just $100-$150 more. My new Favorite "budget" e bike.. Fucare Scorpio!! Hands down best ("budget" E bike $1299 sale). Look at the modification ability! Fucare Scorpio is the "look" I have been waiting on for a very long time. A sort of "BMX" looking E bike, which was also not a foldable was what I was looking for. Worth checking out the design, really interesting!
If you are using an e-bike as a work horse to get you in and out of the woods , a rear hub drive is the way to go ! Why ? The motor will pull you through without peddling through some thick brush and prevent your gear and chain from clogging with debris .
So you said those folding bike frames can accommodate for upgrades, but your battery is inside the frame on that bike. Can you really get it aftermarket battery for that or have somebody I don’t know replace the cells?
Hmm, is that frame possibly made by the same outfit making them for Lectric? They had a government recall of the brakes in case y'all aren't aware of it. People don't maintain the mechanical brakes properly and the piston pops out and braking loss happens.
Cheap bikes we have 2 hunter bikes. We already 1 bike after a month the motor died we have been fighting with them to get a new motor they keep saying they are going to take care of it, but they don't. We disputed our credit card we got our money back the 2nd bike the front brake cable broke, and the display has gone black the screen don't work here we work trying to get things replaced and getting the run around again. We had the bikes barely 5 months. We will probably dispute the credit card again with the other bike. Its a shame that a company cant stand behind the product.
I just received one and screws were falling off the bike before I even got out of the driveway not knowing I got down the street and the rear brake disc came loose from the hub I checked it out and most of the holes in the hub were so stripped out that the screws I found in the driveway would just fall in and out of the holes in the hub. Got the same treatment from customer service. They are just talking heads with several loose screws. It's in the box and I've filled a dispute. JASION IS JUNK.
Lectric has a nice one also for the same price it comes with better components on it I'm not saying it's a better bike I'm just saying some things are better on it you might want to check that out also
I originally ordered a blue one and then found out pre-sale means that they don't have them in stock switch to a gray so I can get the bike and when I received it it had been unpacked and repacked rims were all started up The rack on the back was scarred up from sitting upside down the front wheel will not spin to a used washers to ship the brake caliper have 14 emails and all they do is give me the run-around so buyer beware!!!
It’s Ja-sion not Jason lol. Not that it really matters they all come from same factory in China and ship out of same warehouse in CA lol 😆Horst link suspension is outdated.
I got one and it's not worth the money and the website falsely advertises to go 30mph max and go 70 miles on one charge. However, in less than one week and less than 50 miles, mine died and now it can't hold a charge for no more than 3-4 miles. And when it's not on, you can't use it like a normal bike. Don't waste your money.
you shouldnt slam the breaks at any bike because unlike a car or motorcycle that has abs even if you slam the breaks it would not skid but after like 5 seconds the breaking surface of the pads are the same as hydraulic breaks. hydraulics are good bc they low maintenance and easier to operate then mechanical if you want a better stopping range i recommend upgrading rotors to bigger diameter ones mechanical breaks work just as fine as hydraulics but have maintenance issues especially when you ride on dirty roads and forests
Don't buy Jasion! They take forever to ship (still have not shipped mine after 3 weeks) and their customer support is useless. I asked a refund, still waiting for them to respond
No it's the the best "budget" e bike.. not unless your "budget" has room for a silver spoon.. The bike costs $1100.00 USD. That's like 90% of my total rent payment, and would take me like 4 moths to save up.. "Budget" would be somthing like $400-$600. Not $1100.00

Have you dealt with polarna customer service? Good luck
This is what you call rich guy nit picking
I'd get the engwe...nut that's just my opinion guys. They have a dual battery bike too. Like I think it's called x26.
The #1 I'd also upgrade is proper brakes. Most of the stock brakes installed aren't good enough.
If you are using an e-bike as a work horse to get you in and out of the woods , a rear hub drive is the way to go ! Why ? The motor will pull you through without peddling through some thick brush and prevent your gear and chain from clogging with debris .
There's apparently a serious heat problem with the Photon on longer inclines, throttle only. More so than you'd expect.
So you said those folding bike frames can accommodate for upgrades, but your battery is inside the frame on that bike. Can you really get it aftermarket battery for that or have somebody I don’t know replace the cells?
I have tge eb7 2.0 and want to figure out a way to upgrade it and make it go faster
Think this bike would work for a rider that's 6'4" 350 pounds?
Ah that death trap front stem...wobble like Jah!
Well if you aren't pushing it passed 20 or 30 you should be fine 👌
Hmm, is that frame possibly made by the same outfit making them for Lectric? They had a government recall of the brakes in case y'all aren't aware of it. People don't maintain the mechanical brakes properly and the piston pops out and braking loss happens.
Probably all made from same China company then shipped to sellers to assemble with their branded parts. Lol
Website says its 1400watts. Im confused why you say it's 750watts
1400 peak wattage
They have a new one Google it

Is there ANY bikes reliable in this price range it seems not..
This is ridiculous I can’t believe I’m about to cancel this order
And this is why you do research before making a big purchase thank you for sharing, I'm going with something at my local bike shop
I just received one and screws were falling off the bike before I even got out of the driveway not knowing I got down the street and the rear brake disc came loose from the hub I checked it out and most of the holes in the hub were so stripped out that the screws I found in the driveway would just fall in and out of the holes in the hub. Just cancelled my order
Good review. Thanks.
Yeah them brakes definitely would be 1 of a few upgrades I would do
How long did it take Jasion to ship your bike?
Just ordered two yesterday and they said they're in stock so hopefully they ship fast.
I thought this would check all the boxes but I just cant do 26mph.
We love ours!
I don't get why you keep peddling. Do you have to?
No but peddling will help keep the battery alive longer
He said Jason 😂😂
Whay size tires? 14 inch or 20?
Lectric has a nice one also for the same price it comes with better components on it I'm not saying it's a better bike I'm just saying some things are better on it you might want to check that out also
What's the total weight with the battery?
Just ordered the X Hunter. No response from customer service on shipping after two messages and a phone call. Am I being scammed?
Probably not, just sucky customer service they probably are out of stock still. They’re linked to Heybike who has horrible customer service!
whats your go to site, for e-bike parts?
cant get it in EU D:
Pretty nice for 1k those bushings tho gonna wear fast 😢.
Which bushings?
I originally ordered a blue one and then found out pre-sale means that they don't have them in stock switch to a gray so I can get the bike and when I received it it had been unpacked and repacked rims were all started up The rack on the back was scarred up from sitting upside down the front wheel will not spin to a used washers to ship the brake caliper have 14 emails and all they do is give me the run-around so buyer beware!!!

The new one has a 1400 watts. Google it$939 30 +MPH
We bought two of them and haven't had any problems at all. They will go 30 if you unlock the speed setting and don't weigh over 180 lbs.
Are you riding it the way they tested it? Range depends on a lot of variables.
It is The MOST AWKWARD 70LBS.YOU WILL TRY TO CARRY OR LIIFT!
Bmx bars should come on all folding bikes. Stupid design with the stem and bars

I paid 1728.00 for my Jasion X-Hunter e-bike.
In a year or two these things will be $200... new.
Don't buy Jasion! They take forever to ship (still have not shipped mine after 3 weeks) and their customer support is useless. I asked a refund, still waiting for them to respond

If you look at the price of all ebikes, this comes in at the "budget" range. You wont find one for less than 800
These should be thought of as car replacements, you should expect to pay more than you would for a cup of coffee.
Worst customer service and warranty anywhere! Stay clear of Jaison!
If that's all you can afford, you should learn to enjoy walking.
-- if you need to spend more money on things to feel good about yourself get a ding dong enlargement.
What does the warranty look like for these things?
