This is THE BEST P6 review yet. You're the only one to put it through that much mud and that creek. Well done!
Thanks! Great to see you have this bike and can vouch for it. Honestly, I like this bike off-road much better than my $4200 Sur Ron X which has trash wheels and a pogo-like fork. Next video will be the Sur Rox X vs this Hiboy P6, viewers will be shocked when I show the P6 is way better off-road and overall a much better buy. The Sur Ron is only better with straight line power but sucks off-road in stock form, to make it as good off-road it would cost another 3k, the price of three of these Hiboy P6's.
Nice to see someone (besides myself) wearing protection while e-biking. It hurts just as bad to go down at 30 mph as it does on a motorcycle.
I got a Bell 'Servo' full face BMX helmet for about $75. Lighter than a MC helmet and plenty of air vents.
That is smart! It is better to be safe than sorry, some people have to learn the hard way.
I don't know which is more fun, riding ebikes or listening to your excitement! Keep up the great videos.

Are you more impressed with the bike or the experience it gives you?
This is why I love riding my electric scooter even over my motorcycle. It takes me most places I can take my motorcycle but all places I can't with my motorcycle. Those bike paths and "some" of the trails you hit are things some of these electric vehicles can take you and the best thing about it is, you can mount that thing up in your pickup truck/SUV or even a bike rack and take it everywhere with you. It's amazing!
Both, I was expecting a cheap junk bike (Main reason I had full gear on. lol) and I was shocked how great the bike rode. That was my first time on a fat tire e-mountain bike, I love it. I feel safer on this Hiboy P6 than my Sur Ron X riding off-road. lol Those skinny tires on my Sur Ron suck bad compared to these Hiboy fat tires. Those huge tires seem like they float over everything like nothing. I wish I had these fat tires on my Sur Ron X. Yeah these trails are nice and ebikes don't bother anybody with noise and destruction of trails like dirt bikes do.

What is the app you using while you are riding that tells you your speed in km/hr?
In the unboxing video I mentioned my Joulvert Desert Playa with 4 inch tires probably being on par with this bike. BUT, after watching this video, I'm thoroughly impressed with this bike. The range is better than mine. I might have to purchase this. My bike is a foldable with 21 inch wheels, and this being a 26 non-foldable appears to be a real powerhouse.
Those 26" wheels make all the difference. Honestly, the se P6 wheels blow my crappy Sur Ron Ron X's wheels away, which are trash. The P6 is much better off-road than my $4200 Sur Ron X and to upgrade to similar fat wheels on my Sur Ron X it would cost the price of two P6 ebikes. lol I still can't get over how this P6 bike only costs $1050, cheaper than a new Iphone Max Pro XL.

Wow, prices keep dropping. That's the best deal I have seen. Good review. I wish they offered this same bike in larger motor/battery config. I live on an island with large hills. Doubt that motor would make it up some of them without a lot of pedal assist.
I should have tested it on a steep paved road, it can handle hills tho. That steep hill by the river I tried to climb was ridiculously steep, you couldn't tell by looking at the video but it was so steep I had trouble walking the bike up it. I was crazy for going down there. lol I could have slide down that hill right off the embankment. lol Those tires helped give me good traction. I'm wandering if you can upgrade that motor to a bigger one. I'll have to research.

Under $1200 for a bike with these specs is almost unheard of. I'd get one on your link, but bought a 2018 Rad Rover back in 2019...for the same price.
I was shocked myself. I was expecting a junk bike, one of the reasons I wore a full face helmet. lol However, I was surprised at how well this bike rides, much better off-road than my Sur Ron X's skinny tires. That Sur Ron X is built cheaper than this Hiboy P6 but I paid a whopping $4200 for it!

dude i have the Bakcou muel 4 years ago i paid $4300 for it. its a mid drive motor vs the hub style but wow nice to see good bikes for much lower pricing
I feel like I wasted $4200 on a Sur Ron X which has trash components, it is sad to say the P6's fork is way better than that pogo stick fork on the Sur Ron X. Those fat tires are a million times better than those little skinny Sur Ron X stock wheels/tires that like to slide out. This P6 is legit so far.

I go to Cleveland for work sometimes and my parents live near there. What are the best mountain bike trails there? Are e-bikes technically allowed?
Actually, that wasn't a designated mountain bike trail I was on, it was a hiking trail and it pissed off a few hikers but I'm a rebel. lol I believe there are two long mountain bike trails there. I don't know about others but those trails are great fun. I don't know if e-bikes are allowed or not but they look like mountain bikes so who would care? Nobody polices the trails.

I would recommend a cane creek suspension seatpost.
Yeah they could be a nice upgrade, although the seat wasn't really an issue when riding off-road. However, I have a suspension seat on my other ebike and it is great.

When u go off road drop pressure to 9 to 10 front n 11 to 12 rear. Wheels are also heavy becz no cut out in them . Also buy some pin paddle for off road. Also ur seat hight is wrong .they are also fun in snow
I had the wheels both at 12 psi because I had planned on riding up stairs. Those wheels are actually pretty lightweight, I was shocked. I assumed they would heavy because of the fat tires. I will weigh them in a future long term review video. I wish had these fat tires on my Sur Ron X because they blow away the stock wheels/tires on the Sur Ron X.
@@CycleCruza i can see where u coming from as u never owned a fat bike . Actually the tiers on this fat bike is heavy n rims are also heavy as compare to some high end fat bikes . U can do a lot of upgrades with v less money n bike will be more lighter . Ya 12 psi us good . U can air down untill tire dont feel squarely . In snow u can air down to 5 psi . If u ever plan to upgrade go tubless tiers n rims . Thanks

It is definitely worth it. It is nice to get in a cardio work out and can ride anywhere. You'll enjoy it for sure. I'm in love with those fat tires. Now it makes me want to upgrade to fat tires on my Sur Rox X.

I haven't tried yet but I will. This was my very first ride and getting to know the bike and its capabilities. I will try next time out and let you know. I'm in love with those fat tires, I wish my Sur Ron X had them. To upgrade my Sur Ron X to similar wheels it would cost the price of two P6 bikes. lol

So which e-bike do you like the most?
I like the Sur Ron's power the best of course but these fat tires DESTROY the stock Sur Ron X's skinny wheels/tires. The first time I rode my Sur Ron X on a proper mountain train I ate dirt because of those wheels slipping. This Hiboy P6 is much better than that folding fat tire e-bike off-road but that little bike is super compact and easier to carry around, you can fold it up and get on a city bus or commute to work with it and bring it into the office.

😂 Man I have not rode a mountain bike in a very long time, motorcycle controls are ingrained in my head. lol I will be doing more off-road riding with this Hiboy P6 tho, this bike is fun as hell off-road with those fat tires, they float over everything and grip like a champ. I need to add proper fat tires on my Sur Ron X because it sucks off-road in stock form, however, the Sur Ron's speed blows it away but it should for $4200.
@@CycleCruza riding a motorcycle, and mountain bike off road are the same....you use the back brake. In the dirt u use the back tire to point your bike basically. this is universal. Using the front brake off road is for slow speeds, if u fail a hill climb you use the front brake to slide down easier. ..but not riding in general that will get u hurt.. Also you have to stand up, but don't lock your knees.

I was blown away most by the FAT tire performance, not the speed. Those fat tires float over everything, it ran through that creek like nothing. I wish I had these fat tires on my Sur Ron X, blows away my Sur Ron X in terms of tire performance off-road. of course the Sur Ron blows away this bike in terms of power but I paid $4200 for that Suron X and this Hiboy a way better front fork and wheels. You won't find a better bang for your buck.
@@CycleCruza I got the heybike explore it's got a bigger battery I'll do a review when it gets warmer. I think the fat tire bikes all come with cheap tires that are paper thin the puncture proof is a lie I've changed my wife's 20x4 tires out already she has heybike ranger.

@CycleCruza Chinese E-bikes are not reliable and have cheap parts, no name brand shocks. No dropper seat post, no hydraulic brakes, ect... the list goes on. Buy a real Japan E-bike and show your viewers something reliable to invest there money on. Not this crap your reviewing.

Definitely better than the one I had. That throttle... lol. Yes, it did ghost ride. The thing is, it was a glitch. It did it on its own sometimes when I had the bike at a certain angle. It would wheelie up. The one I had, had a throttle cable that messed up. Yours seems like a better brand.
I must've ghost rode this bike three times before I learned better. lol I need to get some fat tires on my Sur Ron X because this Hiboy e-bike blows away my Sur Ron X in regards to the off-road performance, the stock Sur Ron X wheels suck. Also, this $1k Hiboy bike seems to have better components than my $4200 Sur Ron X which feels cheaper, although the Sur Ron X power blows this bike away of course but it should for a $4k+ e-bike.
@@CycleCruza I hear you. When I saw you trying to go up the hill, I thought it may not do it. I had a 750 watt motor too. On the brand I had, they say the 1000 watt motor can navigate hills better but wouldn’t make the bike any faster. Yours was moving down the road. lol. I could only get mine up to 21mph.
Mine was just to go back and forth to work. No creek riding.
Also, those four inch thick tires are a must. I had the fat boy tires but we’re not puncture proof. That alone will save you money.
Keep us posted on how it’s going. I’m currently still down from the ebike accident. Broken leg and surgery. Six months after my motorcycle accident. Waste Management garbage truck pulled in front of me. Lawsuit is going well. Once settled, getting another motorcycle. I can’t stop riding. The passion is too strong.
