You can press up and middle button for three seconds too for extra information, like accurate voltage, average speed, time elapsed & max speed. The current limiter gives more power to your motor but you run the risk of motor or controller burn out and battery giving less miles.
Thanks for pointing out the extra features. None of these were mentioned in the instructions. My biggest gripe about this display is that it wouldn't show actual battery voltage, turns out it does. Awesome!
@@Beyefendi32 why would you make current limiter just adjust the settings if you want less power. I should of put 'current settings' if it was my wording that threw you off

I do believe maybe got a controller that’s 3K watts but if copied these settings your getting best case scenario not accounting for efficiency losses: 624W with a 52V battery, 576W with a 48V battery, 432W on a 36V battery and would in no way run even close to those speeds. 3000W you would likely run 52V battery and current limit 60A since ~58A is where 3,000W is at 52V, could run it at 48V but more of a drag on batteries as having to pull ~63A from 48V.. higher amounting amperage from less battery. Way too much info I know but defiantly didn’t copy his settings if it’s going that fast.
Just got a second hand Ebike with this control, so happy to get the info on operating it. Odd that the US is still on MPH when the rest of the world has gone metric.
Hi there. I've purchased a Hidoes b3 ebikes. The display is the same. It's rated to go 37mph but I only get 27 mph. I don't know what wire I should unplug.
Its not always about unplugging a wire. Whats your system working with voltage wise, whats your motor rated for in watts and whats the amperage for your controller?

Furthermore, by doing so, how much does the nominal power reduce with that available, for example a 48 volt 13 ah 624 watt how much power will the engine get? Thanks and congratulations for your videos, I sincerely hope that you can enlighten me completely, I have had a Harry's 20 fat bike for 1 month and I'm enjoying it...probably using it exclusively with the accelerator in private areas will only increase the capacity by putting an additional battery...
I have a gocity folding ebike 48 volt uses the Sw900. In my controller there is no separate blue wire to disconnect. But I have a pair of connectors with white and black wires in each connector. Called intelligent learning. Could these be the limiter?
I too have the Gocity folding e-bike. I am in Canada and switched the SW900 to kilometers though am also comfortable with miles. Rather than mess with wires, I changed the wheel size in program setting 6 to 15". Bike computers generally add a tire height to get distance per revolution to compute speed and distance. With my weight on the bike, that's about 1.5" on the bottom side for an effective diameter of 18" vs the 23" at the default setting of 20 in the programming. The ratio of 23/18 or about 1.28 means that you're speed is 28% faster than indicated. I'm miles, your top speed goes up to 25.5 mph when it indicates 20. If you can set wheel size to about 11", setting the mode to kph will have it directly reading mph. When it shows 31.6 kph (20 mph), you're actually traveling at 31.6 mph which is displayed. You might need to fine tune the exact size a bit depending on weight on the bike, tire wear and inflation and I didn't check whether the SW900 goes down to such a small tire size as I haven't tried. You could bump the max ampere draw to have more speed where you max is limited by weight, incline or headwind and you'll get quicker acceleration but the setting is primarily to protect the batteries and 2ndarily, the motor You'll lose range and get fewer charge cycles from the battery, particularly on warm or hot days as internal battery heating goes up drastically as you increase the current and the heat will more rapidly destroy them. I'm at about 250 lbs and 12 Amps limits me to 25 mph on level ground on throttle alone and consumes around 500 watts with a bit of voltage drop. Sustained use of max power will surely age the battery cells more rapidly.

This was so helpful. Thank you
Thanks for watching and have an Awesome day 😊

I could not find the document list in you utube. How do I get it?
Can you send me the document. I still do not see it listed on your site.
Wow very nice video on explaining that stuff. Is there a way to let us know where you can find the instructions on other ones and how to find what model of lcd display there is on a bike mine doesn't say any name on it but its pretty much the same as this and the settings are too i just want the exact one? I Subscribed too thanks Harold hope to hear back from you about this.
That’s true
Great video! My instructions where written in broken English, so thank you for talking the time to walk through esch sequence.
However, I do have two problems, I turned my pedal assist off, and I cannot seem to turn it back on prppomerlyn
What happens if you under volt the battery?
Don't know. Never heard of doing that. Good luck.
You'll get less power or it won't work at all.
hi how can you reset all the settings?
It has a factory reset on the settings. Good luck.
Is there any way I can make it go faster if it doesn't have the limiter cable at all?
I don't know about all bikes. This is a kit we got off Amazon. Thanks for watching and have an Awesome day 😊
Does this work on an Ecotric Leopard bike?
If the leopard has the S900, yes this tutorial will work.
Very helpful thank you!!
I am a new Ebike user. I have the ViVi Ebike with 48V battery and 500W motor. Would this work on my bike?
Motor size is important when it comes to power and speed. 500 watt motors are small. They want go as fast as a 1000 watt motor. Good luck. Thanks for watching and have an Awesome day.
My ebike does not have those PO settings at all
How do you connect 5 wire to attach to new sw 900
You will need to print out the schematic and follow the directions. Only connect the wires you need. Good luck.
@@HaroldJackson where donibfinf the schematic
Any one know any thing about the voilamart 1000w because I'm getting error 11 any help would be nice plz and thank you
Watched to the end. So that was a electric E-bike kit you assembled and that's why you have the wiring the way you have set it up and the ability to adjust it the way you described, right?
Great video, thanks for sharing a clear review of the S900 controller! Cheers!
Thank you so much for watching. Have an Awesome day.
Can u put a sw900 on anyebike lets say 250 watt 500 watt
I'm not sure. I would think it would be possible. Thanks for watching and have an Awesome day.
Can you send me the document. I still do not see it listed on your site.
The link to the white paper is in the description
Hello
Thank you for the video!
My computer is no displaying my speed while I don't use electrical power. Do you know something about it?
love this man!!!
The link to the Manual is dead.
Are there any other links? I can't find anything that describes past P08
I will try and find another link.
I just went to the link and it's working now.
I tried it
Be aware that there are different versions of the SW900, I had an SW900A which went up to 50A. That died because they are not rainproof ! The replacement Which I bought in a rush only allows 20A.
The bike now is around 6MPH slower and takes longer to get up to speed.
Thanks for the information. 👍
My sw900 jumps from p9 to p12 what could that mean
Sounds like a bad display. Thanks for watching and have an Awesome day. 🚲
My ebikeling kit peddle assist settings went up to a level 9, how I dont kno ,but before that my hub stopped working, brand new kit too, it didnt lock up but tho it's not even rideable ,some reason it's even hard to push, just out of the blue it stopped working and and dont kno how to fix other than return it back to ebikeling, someone with a electric bike shop said that they could do it and that it could cost anywhere from $150,00 to $300,00 when the kit itself was just over $300,00 ,gonna be sending it back to ebikeling,
Great video. My bike is a Cyrusher XF900 . Are your instructions similar to my bike? ( I just subscribed to your channel)
Thanks for subscribing. I don't know about your bike. Some of the wiring is a different color. Good luck. If you have time check out GETTR. www.gettr.com/user/harold_jackson
How do you make a lambrado e bike go faster
Hey Harold. I really appreciate your educational Ebike vids, and I tried following your instructions, but when I disconnect the speed controller wire on my new Ecotric 36V 500W bike it stops working. Is there a hack for this?
It could be a different color wire. Check your schematic for what each wire does.
How can I get a copy of the manual you display on the settings on how to make your bike run faster.
