@@CrimeEmperor ahhh miharu I forgot that thing ever existed my mate that I started playing tekken with always called her boobs couldn't use her for shit and just mashed to the victory lol then I learned how to actually play tekken and started stomping him now I got him to main and learn a mishima instead of using eddy miharu tiger Bob type character's. The day you turn your friend from a capo spam doesn't even know what moves his doing to a Mishima players that actually learning how tekken is meant to be played like movement punishing and all that, proud moment as a long time tekken fan, dudes started learning back dashing and wavedashing too and we play on pad on Xbox one where the buttons arent all the same height. Idk about everyone else but learning to wavedash on pad took me a while and even now I can't do it 100% or quick enough, sometimes being a pad player I sorta want to give up lol get a stick or a mixbox like trying to CD and dash really quick its a pain but I'm getting there

Tekken Poject really got over the top with the damage scaling, that's the real drawback for me in this game, one launch and your character is pretty much done.
Rage was a lot stronger in TTT2, also you are talking about 2 chars in T7, but there is more than 2 teams in TTT2 that cna death combo you on rage

As a Josie player myself I like her as a character, just not as a replacement for Bruce. Like if she was to Bruce as Christie is to Eddy I would’ve been perfectly fine with it but it was sad to see Bruce completely go. But hey his animation codes were found in the game files so maybe he’ll be added soon.

Capos have the most natural feel for me. They just feel less rigid than the other fighters.
I remember slippery kicks bullshit, every time I would eat the second kick or miss the punish because looking at the animation you expect a block stagger because logically that's how it should work.

Relax stance always floated in tag 2. Meaning if u got hit out of relax it always gave u a combo. You can punish slippery kicks with more than a low parry. Back 1,4 didn’t work on any large characters. Eddy and Christie team did extremely low combo damage. And a lot more stuff. Movement was better in tag 2 making the move even harder to hit. It’s effective against scrubs but eddy is effective against scrubs in general
Leadblast you’re kinda correct. Yes slippery kicks at range zero was not punishable only by low parry. That move has nearly no range. The first hit has more range than the second. So a lot of the time the first move would hit and the second wouldn’t. So u could back dash a lot of the time instead of blocking. If u block and the second whiffs u get a mini juggle. So that move wasn’t good at all. Back 1, 4 was the only move giving them combo damage. They would get 60 damage from solo combos and 80 from tag. The stable solo combo for everyone else was 80 damage and 100 tag. Wall eddy and Christie is about 90 damage while most wall combos did 110~130. They did a lot less combo damage. As a tag partner you combo damage would drop about 15 damage. Shitty wall carry. Not all characters had wall carries like T7. No wall splats a lot of things that sucked for them. They were a shitty tag partner most of the time. You would give up overall combo damage just for back 1,4. They had that move but it wasn’t broken because that’s the only thing you needed to worry about.

Eddy/Cristie team did MASSIVE damage. B3,3 tag, B3,3 tag, B3,3, ect. 105 red life combo, no bound needed.
Scar Gardens tekken is a game where u can win with any character so that’s not a point. Any team with Lars Leo, or bob was a better team than capos. That’s about 150 different potential teams that were better than double capos. Were double capos the most optimal partners no. I can literally name 5 better teams off my head. Bruce eddy, Lars eddy, leo eddy, bob eddy, jack eddy. There were hella good teams. So many unique teams like Raven Kuma, kazuya Lili, bob bryan, ganryu jack, roger bob, Steve drag these r just a few teams better than double capos. They’re synergy is horrible and they get trash wall combos with no wall carries. They didn’t cover each other’s flaws.

Kunimitsu was beast in Revolution. Her moves had big hitboxes where she can do more follow ups. Tekken Tag 2 Kuni were limited because creative combos always whiff.

Jeez that was one of the main reasons why this game was horrible. B+1,4 ch hit confirmable, it was stepable but the timings was strickt, try doing it on 3 bars and it becomes pure hell. Fuck TTT2

Eddy and Lei were cheap. Lei never have to worry about getting punish. Majority of his moves were safe. Eddy had back 1, 4 and some moves that you barely punish because they were safe.

I'm a capo player and I love all of TMM's content. Eddy was pretty broken in TTT2 but honestly he's always been mid-tier at best especially in the highest levels of play in every other game. It's kind of a toxic mindset to single capo players out as every Tekken game has broken characters, such as Steve in Tekken 5, Jin in Tekken 4, and True Ogre/Devil in TTT1.

All the focus is on tekken 7 at the moment and you bring a video out about tekken tag 2?.. then everyone jumps on the hating eddy bandwagon..again. The character ain’t the same he is actually a lot slower and his moves are readable so opponents easily block. You now have to do lots of different mix ups and spend longer slowly chopping away at your opponent... There are quite a few characters that are cheaper than eddy and quicker..a lot quicker.

He is nothing in T7, you should watch some tutorials if you are having problems (which is understandable, we all have problems with diff. chars) but there are nearly no good players playing him in T7 for a reason.
