anyone calling gigas trash does not know how to appreciate block punishing.. 10 frame punisher with 31 damage and a knockdown... is really a bless. Oh yea not to mention his arms' reach is near the same of jack-7. Im a jack main and its so frustrating to constantly remember what punisher to be used to every character. because his i10 - i12 punisher is basically shit.. Its a blessing to be able to go braindead a little bit, spamming 31 damage attack for every block-punishable attack

@@seanmachugh2318 it's frames, every move has its own frame so if the enemy is -12 you can then do a 12 frame attack and you will hit them because being negative in frames means you cannot move at all

@TheMainManSWE I use to play P Jack with my casual friends. We knew nothing about frames and all we had was the command list. One of the reason I used to play him is because my friends all spammed lasers and fire(devil and true ogre) at any range. P Jack was resistant to fire and he goes into auto windmill punches when he get hit by laser. The coolest thing about P Jack is when he tags in if you hold Up, he flies in from above rather than run in. My friends love to dash in and push buttons when you tag out, so when P Jack lands on their head it's always hilarious. Also his forward 3+4 while negative forever on hit and block can clip people trying to tag out(so amazing when you catch them). His regular throw can also be extended into a more damaging megaton punch which is nice.
Alisa is an amazing character and she is resistant to lasers too 🦭 I don’t see why anyone would pick p jack

reminds me of some Mortal Kombat moves in the early 2000s (Deadly Alliance & Deception) where many moves wouldnt even touch your opponent no matter what you did.
That was SO annoying on Deadly Alliance and specially Armageddon 🤣
To be honest Dan, at least in SF4, wasn't actually too terrible. Low-to-mid tier but definitely not completely useless like Jack here. In fact, Dan's one of my main characters in SF4 since he finally broke out of joke character status.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN Dan is still pretty trash. The SF4 series is definately the strongest he has been but his frame data is still crap on most of his normals for footsies and pressure outside of dankyaku. He's still in the bottom 5 for most of those games (Hakan and Deejay were worse than him at some points) but the balance for SF4 through to USF4 was a lot better compared to previous titles to a point the gap between characters wasn't too large.
@@caldw615 I wouldn't say he's completely bottom tier. I think he's second-from-worst with guys like Hakan, Dee Jay and E.Honda in the bottom.
@@THENAMEISQUICKMAN Hakan has some favourable matchups against a few characters that don't like grapplers. Boxer being the biggest one that's somewhat relevant since he's a solid mid/high tier. Dan's only good/even matchups are with the fellow bottom tiers you mentioned, so they're less relevant from a counterpick perspective.

I loved playing as P. Jack back in the day but yeah, he's always the worse Jack. Wish they'd just make him a customization option for future games though. Love that crazy spinning hand and the shades.

P. Jack has always given me the creeps. When I was a kid I hated seeing him in game. Even now, being 24 years old, I still hate seeing him. Mainly for his hands. How his right hand is rotating and the left is glitching out. Idk just makes me feel uneasy.

I sub-mained pjack & nina/marduk once i got the crane custom item...so many fun combos with that ender
I liked using Xiaoyu and Angel.
Tag 2 was very balanced tho, Even trash tier could win tourneys
I'll give one good thing about TTT Prototype Jack's low tier rating: in a way, he succeeds in being different from Jack 2 and Gun Jack.
Both Jack 2 and Gun Jack were mediocre at best in TTT1.
This is a robot that runs on typical gasoline after all...

a great debugger and a 1+2. And his body splash to armdrills to the face were awesome...I wish there was a way to have him in J7 Slot but with his unique moves.

@@radoslav6861 I can't lie gigas is definitely low tier and needs a LOT of work. I've played with this character since before the game came out and stayed with him because I liked how he played regardless. Season 2 was supposed to make him his own character hence why I knew marduk had a chance of coming back. I just wish he had more throws and moves to make him unique. You won't believe how many people compare the two when they don't play them.

Despite P.Jack being underpowered (though not that bad), he's still the coolest Jack design. Has that T-1000 Terminator look, which is better than the newer Jack designs.

Tekken 7 is pretty bad with it, only a few stages feel populated. Negan's comes to mind, arena and arctic are too far away to feel populated.
TTT2 had plenty stages with people cheering for you. Tekken 7 only very few. TBH its sort of better that way. Street Fighter Vs crowds are fucking annoying and every person I know mods them out

That Jack has T-Rex arms for a tall character. Tekken 6, tag2, 7 jacks were jacked and had long arms and extends much longer

I loved teaming the two Jack's in tag 2
I just realized that besides playing the arcade mode to unlock character endings, there are certain characters I never played in the Tag games. There are some I've never played , not even once, in T7.
I used to win with P. Jack back in the day by doing SS1 into SS2, hammer punch into power punch, and planting seeds (which is definitely his most damaging low--surprised MainMan didn't mention it at all). I guess that I could win with P. Jack shows how bad we were, haha.
P.Jack is my favorite of all the Jack's unironically, I loved him in Tag 2 and wish he could make another appearance in a canon title.
