As iconic as Heihachi's Twin Pistons was, I can completely understand them taking this tool away from him come Tekken 6.
I am all for the Cliff Tosser making a comeback, though, that move is badass!
They could set the big twin pistons to counter only, or from a slower, 15-16ish frames, imitation of df1 to make it fair. But the child tosser... man if only I knew that move. I was a dumb child

@Lord_of_darkness Lord_of_darkness - Horrible mode..... only reason most played it was to unlock D. Jin. It was really bad..... like Time Crisis 4's scenario mode. You have very bad taste if you think that is better than T4 Force Mode.

I'm so glad they made Jin's hair longer in the back on Tekken 7. Tekken 5 and Tekken 6, it looked like he fell asleep on his back hair and said fuck it I'm not stretching it out lol

What were they thinking with those twin pistons holy shit.
It was one of those legacy moves he had from a long Time but got replaced in t6, game which saw heihachi being the weakest version of himself.
good video Brings back memories of how awesome it was to plsy the first online tekken... only thing you missed was that his chicken wing move (the powercrush in t7) could also stop grabs and do damage if you timed it correctly. Heihachi has changed a lot since the old days lol.
Heihachi was my main in T5. Learned all the Mishimas and Asuka was my 2nd. Before that all I used was Law.

CPU is good pretty but it's a bug if you use d12 ai can't block iron hand

One thing about DR Heihachi than 5.0 is that he still had the qcf forward motion that made wavedash little more strict to do. That and he no longer had his 2,2,1+2 10f punish like in T5.0
I remember back when T5DRO was still active online, I used to beast with Hei with no effort and I never really knew why (wasn't knowledgeable about matchups back then, or precise frame data). This vid definitely explains why haha

Tekken 5/DR was so brutal on the ground. If people didn't know what to do they would get bullied hard and never get up. Carried myself high on the leaderboards on ps3 DR with my ground bullying Steve. 1-2 knockdowns was all I needed. Wasn't the most honorable thing but hey it worked xD

Eh, I’ll take back TTT2 Heihachi.
T6’s had b+1,4 for a good poke (and I could get a combo off 1+2 in 6) but I think TTT2’s was more all-around. Though Tekken 7’s is pretty good too.

Memories. He was only really broken because of df1 launcher, all the rest just made him strong. Df1 launch followup was just too much, 13f launcher should only be reserved for PEWGF, or any new move they add requiring perfect execution, otherwise you break tekken, too many common moves are -13. Imagine a guaranteed 0 execution launch punish on hop kick lol.
I asked TMM, about this, what if Heihachi had his twin pistons back. He said it would hurt his pressure a lot, but if you add twin piston as df1,1+2 in Tekken 7, he would be much, much stronger as his one of his weakness has been covered.

@@sirm.a.r.s4640 No that's tekken 5.0/5.1 on the PS2, tekken 5 dr was the more fair tekken, mishimas and bryan were still S Tier in this game but it was overall better and more suitable for competitive play.
Tekken 5 DR is quite simply the BEST Tekken that has ever existed, and also one of the best fighting games to ever exist. No other Tekken comes close.
It was also the most balanced out of all the Tekkens.
Saying that, there was more talk in this video than actual Heihachi awesomeness which is just . . . wrong.
Tekken 7 was more balanced tho. Also imo, Tekken 4 was the best Tekken game, the facial animation, the story

Koreans like Qudans, Leedy etc loved DJ and KAz while almost all Mishima players used to pick Hei. Main Street Ryu was the best Japanese Hei player but he was destroyed by Qudans in casuals and Qudans also beat him up in FT30
