Gday mate 👋 The Summit really does look like alot of fun, I have been researching & watching lots of video on them.. I finally Ordered me one Today (In Purple) along with the LEM Ultimate Diff Combo.
Have you had any issues with your stock steering servos ?
Really like the Proline Apocalypse Body you did. 👌👍😊 I fiqured i grab a summit before the stop making them, hard to find in Australia at the moment, anyway great videos & you have built yourself an awesome Brushless Summit. (Love the Miniature accessories on the Roof Racks 🧐😊

Thank you for the comment, please subscribe. I love to share more if my video attract enough views. I want to say all servo has been replaced by now after 2 years playing. the small one for shifting gear is notorious for break. the steering servo, I have tried Dual setting by Savox SW 0231 MG for about a year. however, I did not even know I did not sync them perfectly so when it run straight it sway a lot. I originally thought it was other parts lose in connection until recently the Savox burned out. I try to do single servo setting with very powerful servo from China, it is from OMG 36 kg water proof model. very fast and responsive, most importantly I have no more sway when run. this is a loaded topic for servo question. Summit is like no other truck, I really have the fun with it. alone the road there is definitely some fix but manageable. Have fun with this awesome truck.

my Summit sway a lot at one point. it was the moment I was told that I should switch to a single servo. Man, it solved the problem. as duo servo if not sync well it will conflict with each other. you should speak to a local shop, ask how strong the servo you should order that work with the electric set up. my is not stock any more so my installation may not apply to you.

I wore my gears off without it. that thing is in for a reason. it sounds more like the installation is not right, I don't know why it would not work or fit in.

Is there a part number for the washer you forgot to install

I recall I need to buy more than the washer, it is in the exploded diagram. I think it is 5681 and includes other parts. You need to double check yourself.

I have done the same mod as you but I’m running into an issue. The ring gear in the rear is stripping out after I get it all back together and then run it for about 5 mins. Has your summit done this?

I had issue once with the gear that showed at 4:50 of my clip and one time entire cup cover was destroyed after change oil. I end up bought another diff cup set from China which fits ok but the gear inside is still pretty much the same so far. i suppose when install it you really have to check and test if it feel smooth or not as anything can go wrong with our human touch.

@@Hobby_Unlimited I think the shimming is causing problems with the ring gear. I’ll give it a go when I get back into it.

Congratulations for the videos, a question... where did you get the bubble in this style, here in Brazil we don't have many options... if you have a link where I can find it, I'd appreciate it...🛻🛻

These upgrades are silly. You’ll be better off converting a basher into a crawler if you just want a needlessly overbuilt truck. More robust, therefore cheaper, in the long run.
