One of Jimmy's best guitar solos & the best on lead guitar ever! He's brilliant in the way he plays & always has perfect timing with Bonzo as the Hammer. The Greatest rock band ever 🔥🔥🔥🎸
I sure hope the remaining footage of the SRTS is intact and whole and can be restored. Led Zeppelin are (were) one of the greatest things that ever gave Earth hope! And gave us a complete day! The hope and Wisdom that is Peter Grant, Jimmy Page, JPJ and John Bonham.

thank you very much for this. very enjoyable. amazing footage of the worlds greatest band.in any musical genre.they truly changed music and pop culture.
Rumor has it that the unused footage from the Garden dates in 1973 are in ribbons. It wasn't stored properly and is pretty much gone.So it's the bad edits and Percy's castle fight for all eternity.😢
The 1st part of this video isn't of the song heartbraker because you can see jimmi page playing different notes on the guitar, the main riff is on 1-2-3 frets, but we can see jimmy playing on other frets
If Jimmy, and Led Zeppelin, never existed. Guys like Steve Vai, Eddie VanHalen, Joe Satriani, and Yngwie Malmsteen, would be nobodies' flipping burgers, or stocking shelves at Walmart right now, thinking... Hey, I wish I could play guitar. Maybe I could have been something?
Если бы...да кабы, то много чего бы ещё было написано и записано. Но, увы, алкоголь с наркотиками опасная смесь. Самое нелепое - это захлебнуться собственной блевотиной.
Yes! But if he was still sitting up he wouldn't have choke on his own vomit 🤮 because his air way well be open to breath 🫁! Even when he threw up it would've gone down his front shirt 🎽 👕 instead they put him flat on the bed 🛏️ so when he threw up it went back down his throat maybe up to his nose 👃 too!
I love Jimmy Page. He created so much good stuff, but he also runs himself into a corner a lot and ends up sounding like someone who can't really play, lol.
@@nerad1994 I just think that, as inventive and musical as JP was in terms of composition, when it came to improvisation he wasn't the guitar's most technically gifted exponent, lol! He was as gutsy as anyone, and had some interestingly musical chops, but he would often overdo it and end up losing sight and derailing (as he does here in places). The results aren't pretty to my ear. I think he shone best when bass and drums were grooving and he was able to implement preconceived ideas together within a song. I listen to his derailed wailing here and can't help but think it sounds like me after I'd been playing for 18 months - fast fingers with loads of bad notes. There are only so many you can get away with before it's time to be called out.
@@robinwatson4282 Interesting analysis. Yeah, I can respect that. Although I will say I've always thought the heartbreaker solo was meant to be a high energy sort of "messy" and "sloppy" feel to it. Possibly just a lack of clear accuracy of playing, but I'm sure there was an intention as well behind it... But you bring up pretty good points as well, so it could go both ways.
Mr Page had been playing for close to 3.5 hours by that time in the show, and been awake three consecutive days. He was so pumped to be playing MSG that he literally couldn't go to sleep. I'm sure he was bound to miss a few notes. People who obsess over little technicalities like this bug the crap outta me.
@@robinwatson4282 He explored and played on the edge. He also did things in toning and technique with the guitar that NONE of his contemporaries could come close to.
Jimmy lifting the guitar over his head white hammering on those notes is cooler than any gimmick EVH ever employed.

Hey Mark… this way I'm going to have a heart attack... ❤😅
Is there any footage of the outtakes in this?
No, there is not. The VHS "The First Cuts" did not include any footage of Heartbreaker.

it doesn't coincide with the fretboard. it's a montage of page playing the guitar with different songs.
ALTRO CHE I MANESKIN!...
Bonham weighed 130 pounds?
lol my thoughts. maybe they meant the drum kit lol. bonzo had to be 200+
I was there 1st n last nites msg nyc .17.yrs old..75.77..2× each ..msg nyc..71 sept msg nyc...now?? Im old
John Bonham only weighed 130 pounds? Damn. I’m a hundred pounds heavier?
Hmmm sounds doesn't match the footage, am I right??

This is totally out of sync with Heartbreaker. I believe this is video from The Ocean! Lol
