When I told her, she was insulted that I wouldn't want to say my goodbyes and express my eternal love for her at the end. I told her, I'll do that before she puts Stairway on! I also have to come up with some memorable final last words. Maybe, I'll say "Led Zep Forever" OR. "The Stairway is Calling Me"

Im sorry for your loss, I played it at my mom’s funeral last year June , she was 2 months away of being 70. She introduced me to this band when I was a kiddo. Still the best rock group ever. Поддерживаю друже.
Earth is not millions of years old. In fact earth is about 7000 years old. That’s a fact. The age of the earth according to science was determined by using carbon dating as well as layering in soil as well as assumptions on the creation and time needed to fossilise certain things like for example oil or the “creation” of diamonds. Carbon dating is inherently flawed because in order for it to work you need certain conditions that cannot change. As science has no way of knowing what the atmosphere was like even 200 years ago, the decay of neutrons is immeasurable in the same way. Anyway, done get lied to!

I am 32 yrs old and I am just discovering Led Zeppelin now bec. my close friend's dad requested a TShirt of Led Zeppelin and I said okay I will find one for him and for my dad. I tried watching and I found the tribute performance of Heart singing "Stairway to Heaven" and led me here to listen sa original ---WOW... Grabe.. I am glad to discover a masterpiece!
My wife's 30 , loves pop , heard this and has been converted.
amen
Every genre is good imo.
Amen
@@patrickstar7428 the only genre i cant listen to is modern day pop music
@@petterhouting7484 Why not?
Robert's vocals were flawless during this performance. So clear. Note for note perfection. And live. Really?
It was live but it was for their dvd. so, probably some studio correction. But yes, they were untouchable at this time so who knows.
@@christopherchuauhang4829 thanks for the input.
The solo was even better
@@fortnajt You are spot on. That solo was epic. He made the extended solo into a classic.
@@christopherchuauhang4829 Highly doubt there was any studio correction (in terms of autotune, or pitch-correction - not things like equalization, etc., which of course they did), and everything looks perfectly in sync (so in terms of potential overdubs).
I have seen many live bands. This is still the gold standard.
I think this is a song of hope
Without any doubt, this is by far, the best live performance ever made.
I might be biased, but rain song is 1000% better
there are some bootlegs where plant sounds better and page like always is on fire.
The best this moment.. Until I listen to another Zeppelin song 💜
What concert was this? My best guess is Madison Square Gardens, 1973.
@@ANSPS49AV1 yes its madison square 1973, i would also recomend Led Zeppelin: Live on Blueberry Hill [Bootleg] and Led Zeppelin - Live in Brisbane, Australia (Feb. 29th, 1972) - UPGRADE/MOST COMPLETE..
Frodo is killing it with that guitar.
You’ve made my day
@Marcus D GREAT Jimmy page but close
He's is carring a Fender Ork...
We all agree that Robert looks like Mr. Tumnus though...
High as fuck as well.
This was my wedding song 40 years ago love Led Zeppelin ❤️ 😍
The BEST live solo ever, hands-down.
it sounds old, mystical, ingenious and something like overcoming human barriers in the arts.
It does so indeed!
POWAH OF OLD MUSIC YOUR FEELIN MATE
I was wondering what it was that caused this partiicular song to stand out as possibly the greatest song of the modern era- I think your comment answered that for me.
ding ding ding....
It's magic... It's so beautiful to be a part of an artist' connecting with spirit/God.
This is not just a performance, it’s a historical moment
That is the truth.
I agree. God bless you
"Does anybody remember laughter?"
😉👌
@@anthonydixon452 I remember telling my mom and grandparents I didn’t want to go to the 2007 show, and that will forever be the biggest L I will ever take😔
My favorite version, my favorite guitar solo, my favorite & most saged, of them all, Jimmy Page, by my favorite band of all time!
My dad passed this January 😢he was 60 years old ! He would send me songs to listen to this is one of my dad’s favorites it’s my favorite song now too ! ❤ To be a Rock & not to Roll is my quote I love from this song Rock On 🤘🏽 Dad in heaven ❤
I'll be 74 next week and I'm crying listening to this. Scotty...... please beam me back.
78 in June..will listen until the lid on my coffin is lowered!
Happy birthday to You in advance :)
Happy late b,day. Loved your comment. God bless you and yours.
Happy birthday!
Y'all people be old like damn!
One of the most iconic rock performances in history. Jimmy Page making his guitar sing like no other.
Honestly he didn't play the solo pretty well, but everything else was good
@@moi-ev3pibro what type of stuff are you smoking 😂😂 you must be in another dimension to believe what your saying
@@enriquesuarez226 it's kinda sloppy solo, people who don't play guitar never understand and when they hear solo they automatically think it's perfect
@@moi-ev3pi I completely understand the “sloppiness” if this where a classical music recital he would definitely get some points off for not staying true to the original, but this is rock and roll, if you wanna hear perfect and neat listen to the studio version, you call it sloppiness I call it improvisation, and it’s truly is improv he comes up with these licks on spot every time they are unique, I’d rather listen to a his playing style than a person playing not per note, he plays with amazing dynamics, if it where sloppy then there would be 5,000 jimmy pages in the world but it’s not, there’s only one jimmy page
@@moi-ev3pithe guitar soloist in the log knocked it out of the park❤
Tengo 35 años se que esto es música de verdad y doy gracias a Dios que pude conocer este típo de música tu soy feliz al escuchar esta melodía con una cerveza, gracias Zeppelin
I was born in 1973 and discovered a love of Led Zeppelin in 1990-1991 when I was 17. As my Gen X peers were falling in love with Nirvana and Grunge,I was falling for Led Zeppelin at the same time. Rock n Roll has no age or expiration date...
Plant and Page were 22 and 26 years old respectively when they wrote this.
Let that sink in for a moment.
thats fucking crazy. I also cannot figure out how Axl Rose wrote November Rain, with virtually no education. It's a gift
I suppose it’s rather simple, really? Having a deeper understanding of life before it’s your time, before most of us “get it”. However, that’s nothing more than an opinion, and like assholes, we all have opinions. 😉
Goodamn you make me feel like garbage 😁
Well Jimmy Page fucked a 14 year old when he was in his 20s as well so swings and roundabouts I guess
Lachlan Jansen Alright, so stairway to heaven is average
Holy shit you're stupid
that jimmy page guitar solo gives me goosebumps everytime
yes, me too
My favorite version of this solo!
FRICKIN" GOOSEBUMPS!
And then right into the powerful vocals... something different forsure
Jimmy and Robert are Rock Gods! Simply Stunning and can't get enough! :D
I’m 70 years old and I was at this show at MSG in 1973 and Robert Plant wasn’t wearing a sock in his ripped jeans at the crotch; I had orchestra seats 10th row center, so I had a great view💯% The three nights at MSG were filmed and became the movie The Song Remains The Same and when the film premiered in New York City, I attended the first night of the showing and I was looking for myself when the cameras showed the audience seated in the orchestra but the camera was too fast for me to recognize myself, great show I’ll never forget that night 💯%
I’m too young to have ever been able to see a Zeppelin show live unfortunately. What was it like there at MSG that night?
@@JimmyPagesPageisms It was fabulous! I saw Led Zeppelin every time they performed at Madison Square Garden since 1973 until they disbanded; they were my favorite band at the time!
@@eskenazibeth that’s amazing 🤩 hope you know how fortunate you are!
