I just got the iPad Pro M4 1T with 16gb of RAM because I do photo editing/retouching and need the 16 RAM to future proof. And with 33 megapixel camera I’m needing more and more storage. I’m coming from an iPad Pro 2nd gen with 4 gb RAM and it wouldn’t power the retouching app I was using. Just stopped working. Haven’t had the new one 2 weeks yet and am disappointed with how quickly the battery drains. Otherwise love it.
@@techhubwiltsuk I haven’t downloaded the app yet so haven’t done retouching. I had Portrait Pro 15 on my old iPad Pro that’s the one that stopped working. Maybe because it’s obsolete now. The only Portrait Pro available for iPad now is version 19. I’m hoping it works. I also use Affinity Photo which works well and did on the old one. All I’m doing now on the new one is reading and watching TH-cam. I’m wondering if somethings wrong because the battery drains so fast. Reviewers have said it should hold a charge all day for most people. I’m on it a lot of the day every day but the old iPad held a charge for days at first. I’m just charging to 80% as many have suggested.
Sounds like there might be an issue with the battery! To eliminate software issues, backup the ipad and then fully restore it using a mac where it will download the software and reinstall the os. Recover your backup and then. test. If battery still drains quick contact apple! Let me know how it goes.
@@techhubwiltsukHi ! I am ujin , I have a question is that I bought my M4 iPad Pro recently with 2 Generation Apple keyboard , the problem is do I need to go for the apple care for both products previously using the M1 ( 12.9) From 2021 for 4 years without issue and without apple care. What I hear the New iPad Pro is very easily get burn in for the OLED screen and the previous keyboard have lots of problem ?? Hope to hear from you soon and appreciate so much .
@@ujingan9697 With Apple care, if you can afford it i always say for it as you are covered for accidental damage which is a god send! I have not heard of oled burn in. I am sure it is possible but also certain Apple have reduced the risk. Thanks for watching
Hi ! I just bought my M4 iPad Pro 1TB with wifi plus cellular and I have bought the 2 Generation Apple keyboard on Nov 2024. One question is that do I need to go for the Additional apple care for another 2 years for the Apple Ipad Pro and keyboard ??? Kindly please advise I upgraded my IPad Pro M1 from 2021 which I use for past 4 years ago without additional apple care ? Hope to hear from you soon thanks
I purchased the 13” but now 11” the portable size width is 1.49 inch shorter and height is 1.24 shorter … I do like both sizes but I can’t keep going back and forth 😂
lol! As i use my mine for mainly watching content the 13 inch was a must!! Which ever one you land on, you should get the opposite size in the iPad air line up!

Wow if you are draining the battery you are really pushing it which is good as not many apps seem to push it! What photo app is it?

@@techhubwiltsuk well I handhold mine… and the 11 inch is much more manageable.. the screen real estate is not that much bigger..
