      +yamahaU3 and it was created by a black woman named Sophia Stewart. The Wachowski brothers stole her work and used it as their own. She sued and won 3 billion dollars. look it up. This is scifi but its a religious movie too. look her up. She also wrote the terminator which is really the matrix part 1 so to speak because Terminator and the matrix are the same movie.

    • @luisderivas6005
      @luisderivas6005 8 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      +bpad31 I've read Sophia Stewart's short, unfinished story "The Third Eye", which she claims is the basis for the films. The text is amateurish, incomplete, not to mention expensive. The concept is that of an extraterrestrial savior coming to earth with god-like powers. No matrix, no hacking, and no other character or plot similarities...aside from generally saving mankind. Frankly, if anyone should sue it should be the Pope, for misappropriating Jesus' story with an Ancient Aliens lean. To top it off the crazy lady claims a 'victory', while the judge ruled that she owed reimbursement of $300k in legal fees to the producers!

      +KevOEggos he was his hero for a while. He was looking for him. He thought Morpheus could help him escape his life. He also felt a connection to trinity at this point. His life was empty and he didn't want to go back to the boring life he had. He wanted a life of purpose. And you didn't have to add the "black guy" thing! Why take the meeting in the first place. The truth is they were in more danger for meeting neo. Cause of the agents after them!

    The first time I watched the Matrix it blew my mind and sent a chill down my spine. Especially the scene where Neo lays eyes on the Fields of millions of people in their pods for the first time. I don't know about you but the concept of living in a virtual reality had never even occurred to me, but what was more scary was how doable it was. " what is real " if real is what you can taste, smell, see and touch then real is just electrical signals sent to your brain. This is experienced by all when we have dreams, we don't even bloody know when we are in one till we wake up 90% of the time.

      You want to know something else?
      Im not trying to play Morpheus, but there is alot going on that you arent aware of. Alot that, like in the matrix, alot of people are not prepared to accept. Things that many would consider crazy. But theyre not.
      Im not trying to give a blue or red pill option, but if you value truth over happiness, you can start by researching big time into UFOs and similar things. I reccomend starting with the Chilbolton Crop Circles. I garantuee you that, if you are willing to believe they arent a hoax, which they werent ( (: ), your mind will be absolutely blown. And you'll want to learn more.
      I partake in groups that do this kind of research. If you are interested, reply and I'll refer you.

      @@ernstthalmann4306 People all around the world feel it: something is wrong with this system we live in! We are enslaved, we aren't free as a bird or cool as a dog in the shade. Why do we feel this way? Because we are deeply social species and when there is dis-ease with our society, we see it, we feel it and we want to fix it.
      Problem is, most people don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. The truth has been hidden from us all our lives, unless we seek it out ourselves or are led to it, somehow.
      Like Morpheus says "no one can be told what the Matrix is, they have to see it for themselves."
      Well, here's some "Red Pill" of truth sources for those ready to go down the rabbit hole:
      - Watch Zeitgeist: Addendum and Moving Forward
      - Watch InterReflections
      - Read Moneyless Society by Matthew Holten and/or check out the podcast
      - Read Ubuntu Contributionism: Exposing The Global Banking Fraud by Michael Tellinger and check out the One Small Town plan of action
      There's a good start, by no means an exhaustive list, but it'll get you going down the rabbit hole and you'll find many more sources of truth along the way.

    The Matrix has deeply anarchist themes, and this is well laid out in this scene. Instead of describing the Matrix in technical terms as a virtual world made by machines, Morpheus describes it in a more fundamental, abstract and relatable way: a prison that encompasses everything we experience, as a way to order people--in effect, the very concept of society. This is touched on several times throughout the film (e.g. anyone can be an Agent because they partake in the system). There is something fascinating about a movie so famous having such a radical ideology.

      EXACTLY! You get it and once the world goes down pretty soon, the first thing survivors of the new world will discover a plant (not a NEW plant) with an 'advanced hallucinogen' property capable of dissolving what Buddhists define as 'Maya' or the world of illusion. Some artists already showed what's coming, see for example the famous Denver Airport murals from the link below:
      pocho.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Denver-mural-4.jpg
      You can clearly tell from the murals that a world will go down under fire and a new one, with INNOCENT children will be the RESTORED one. Furthermore you can see that predatory animals will be friendly and not in a war with man as we are today.

They're planning a black project "Staged" apocalypse to make their new world order look like a prophesied new beginning. A Shill paints the future they want you to desire, and you believe they have magic powers and can see the future. Want you to believe the "Innocent" (Obedient) will survive. If they plan the future, it isn't surprising they can play the Prophet or even Time Traveller with this inside knowledge. What is surprising however, is that there is always an army of people like you who are willing to believe this bullshit rather than the more logical explanation that a planned future will be known about in advance.

    For those who don't realize, this scene is quite obviously based on the Garden of Eden scene. The "red" pill is obviously the same colour as an apple, and the choice is the same between knowledge/truth or comfort/happiness/to just "believe whatever you want to believe" (blissful ignorance). Morpheus is even wearing a snakeskin jacket to complete the effect. Everything about this scene (and most of this movie) is fantastically well done, from the cinematography to the clear yet subtle symbolism.

    This movie is the most extraordinary work that I've ever seen, which grabs me and won't let me go because all casts who appear in the work, played a very important role in making a unique world view , especially Morpheus. Almost 17 years has passed since " The Matrix" was released, though, some might think of this world in which we're living as a make-believed world generated by the real matrix. Sometimes I think I might be connected to it. If I were to find my body connected to a power plant previously, I wouldn't take a red pill because I would go mad and not adopt to the real world.

    • @pilesjoursh1111
      @pilesjoursh1111 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Culture and ideology have nothing do do with currencies, they are mental constructs, boundaries that keep you locked into fixed perceptions, they are your operating systems. Those constructs are the "matrix".. media is just another outlet your culture uses to keep you fixated on the 'simulacra..or matrix'
      You have to download new operating systems outside of culture which means through the higher wisdom of the psychedelic plants, if you are to reprogram those systems and dissolve boundaries.

Cant say that I blame the lemmings, the truth can be painful but its nontheless the truth. But it's nice to occasionally see that you are not the only one who gets it. It’s crazy how this movie really captures the late 90s, early 00s. The vibe, the filmography, the setting it’s in and yet man it holds up so well as a concept. It just never feels like an ‘older’ film. It’s such a great piece of media that stands the test of time, and ironically now see the 90s tech almost feels like some retro cyber punk asthetic in 2023. It’s up there with Terminator 2 as a movie that doesn’t age
