In the context of Harry Potter I agree with this list. But post battle of Hogwarts even with all of these guys gone. Harry Potter is my humble opinion the best Auror. Deserving of Head of the Dept. Successor to Mad-eye & Albus
I'd move Frank and Alice Longbottom up on the list. They faced down Voldemort 3 times and survived. They only lost when they were caught unawares by 4 of the strongest death eaters that existed. That's certainly better than anything Dawlish has ever been able to accomplish.
WystenDraco because he was close in power, and closer in intellect. (Probably slightly smarter) so he has to be very careful around him. Voldemort even at HALF power fought Dumbledore, and didn’t lose (didn’t win either though)
Apparently Kingsley Shacklebolt deemed everyone who survived the Battle of Hogwarts to be fully qualified to become auror for their strength of character and skills. If they managed to survive a battle against so many adult death eaters, they were certainly overqualified in concerns to the minimum requirements to undergo training as auror. I bet the following years after the battle sees many new aurors in service.
Especially Neville Longbottom, he straight up faced Voldemort and killed Nagini with the Sword of Gryffindor, thats next level validation if even the Sword thought he was worthy
Kingsley shacklebolt is a beast! Aswell as being powerful he's got a lot more sense and reasoning than most, he's not one to follow blindly. Integrity!
And the best and it's no surprise he did he litterally took on a hole race of creatures that are litterally a tank and can kill anything in a single shot
I like how dawlish is an excellent auror but in the books he does nothing but gets hexed two times by Dumbledore, once by neville's grandmother and smashed by hagrid
Thats the thing he is a excellent auror but not even close to top 5. The longbottoms, Theseus, Harry(yes Harry is way better than someone like dawlish) and probubly some of the characters that only is named around once or twice in the books as well as some of the aurors that isn’t in the books.
Victor L i would imagine harry learned a lot of skills and power from dumbledore picture after the battle and became the most powerful wizard and auror in the country
Everyone seems to forget that Dawlish was under a confundus charm for most of the seventh book, against Dumbledore, almost nobody stands a chance, and his character seems to be a good person, so he likely didn't want to hurt Hagrid or Neville's grandmother
if you´re unsure about the capabilities of either moody or crouch jr. think about this: moody is said to be responsible for about half of the prisoners being in azkaban and crouch jr. took this guy down with the help of pettigrew (a guy even schoolchildren can beat) and moody was said to be paranoid about constant vigilance or being attacked so even a surprise attack shouldn´t give crouch that much of an advantage
People always rail on Pettigrew, but I really think he’s actually underrated. Sure he was a bit of a coward, but he wasn’t a weak wizard in his prime. Not only was he an animagus, he was also adept at potion making and dark magic. Even after going insane from prolonged transfiguration, Wormtail was able to successfully cast Avada Kadavra many times with little effort. People don’t realize how difficult that spell is to cast, not just anyone can do it. It takes a lot of passion, hatred, and magical power to perform successfully.
Voldy would shitstomp. Grindlewald is powerful af and a worthy foe. but Voldemort bragged about pushing the boundries of magic. He was the best legillmens in the world, understood spells at a young age, arguable better than dumbledore did.
Alaster Moody was a gifted Auror though after the first wizarding war it did sound like he suffered from PTSD and had to resign as an Auror for that reason. Tina Goldstein was very likely skilled in occulmency since her little sister was a natural legilimens and she didn't want her little sister to know everything that she was thinking. Would it have been unusual in the 1920s for women to become Aurors since most young women at that time were like Queenie working in an office job until marriage when they would quit their jobs and become housewives.
I do not think that it would have been unusual. We see that the Wizarding World (when it came to Witches and Wizards at least) were not as discriminatory as their muggle counterparts. For instance, in the U.S. during the 1920's, Black people were treated quite poorly, but in the Wizarding World, the President of MACUSA was a Black woman. It is proven that they definitely did not discriminate against women (as in witches) like muggles either. That is why I do not think Tina's post was unusual at all.
But I appreciated the fact that in the Wizarding World, discrimination existed, but targets discriminated against were not the same as targets of muggle discrimination. The reason for that is the fact that I would not have believed Witches and Wizards were humans, if they did not discriminate against others (whether that been other humans, as in muggles, or magical beings/creatures).
Shacklebolt was I think one of the cornerstones of the Order of the Phoenix. Every time he was mentioned in the books, you could tell that he's powerful but also very dependable. A very stable factor in the order.
@@zacharybumstead4759 A written knowledge test does not equate to an actual practical exam. I could very easily read an entire book on how to be a brain surgeon, but that does not mean I can perform said operation.
Extremely hopeful that we get to see mad eye moody in his prime in the fantastic beasts movie, he is like the outright coolest character in the whole franchise
Xtreme Dan the fantastic beasts series is a prequel series so he may show up. Do you even know anything about the series because that was such an obvious mistake that even most people that have almost no knowledge of HP know this...
The series is set inbetween 1920 and 1945, so chances are he isn't going to be featured since it is before his time. However, in crimes of grindelwald we see professor mcgonagall, but she isn't supposed to be born yet, so maybe they'll just add him in too?
Kingsly being one of the strongest is also shown in part 2 of Deathly Hallows when he sent that death eater flying back out the window. One of the best moments of the film IMO.
Shackelbolt fought Voldemort twice and is only number three ? He fought Voldemort in the battle of the seven Potters while having to protect Hermione and then together with Mcgonagall and Slughorn like bro he should be number two because Moody is like top one for sure .
Miquel Canosa Santeularia no bro Scrimgeour was held captive by Voldemort in order to spill the tea concerning Harry’s whereabouts and after refusing to give in he was executed in the spot . He didn’t duel Tom
Yeah, Kingsley's way more impressive than Moody from what we saw in the books. Maybe when Moody was in one piece, he was as good as Kingsley, but he did lose to Pettigrew and Barty Crouch Jr while Kingsley could actually take two Death Eaters.
@@CulturalMarxist4985 true, but moody was sneaked attacked. Normally that means to loose authomatically. It is true that in the secon wizard war kingsley was more impressive than moody
Barty crouch junior is for sure a great death eater seeing as he had to play the part of mad eye and was able to fool a good part of the students and staff (for a while). His downfall was his father figuring out who he was and was forced to kill him.
I'm very surprised that you didn't put Harry on the list itself, he was the youngest ever Auror as he was only 17 when he got the position and he was also the youngest head Auror in history at the age of 27 and then became the head for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the age of 29 all without ever taking his NEWTs. He is also the only wizard to ever exist that has survived the killing curse twice and killed the strongest wizard alive at the time.
I think Amelia Bones should be in here somewhere - She was noted as one of the greatest witches of the age, and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. On top of that, Voldemort killed her in person, which he didn't normally do unless it was worth his time, and she put up a real fight.
I think he needed to kill her in person too. She was holding her own against the multiple deatheaters trying to kill her AND held up against voldemort for some time after he showed up too. However, the head of magical law enforcement isn’t necessarily an aura so she might be disqualified
I remember Moody commenting that his magical eye kept sticking after Barty Jr used it. I always figured it stuck at just the wrong time and helped get him killed.
Man, for most channels, only 10% of their subscriber regularly watch their videos. But for u, 10 times for your subscribers are watching your videos! That not only exceeds expectation, that's outstanding!
Another of Shacklebolt's feats was his duel against Voldemort at the end of the story, although he had McGonagall and Slughorn by his side, is still quite an accomplishment.
I'd love a series centered around Mad-Eye, touch on the earlier Wizard Wars and he seems a character with so much backstory to touch into that it feels a shame that most of what we got to know of him was essentially someone pretending to be him, and him dying.
@@astrax2426 NO they are more powerful than Dawlish. Come on, even Frank Longbottom mom, Augusta Longbottom kick Dawlish ass and send him to a hospital.

Its crazy how we are all admiring the power of these aurors, but only Moody, the strongest, managed to show up on lists for strongest wizards. Dang, dumbledore, grindelwald, and Voldemort were crazy
Well, the most powerful Auror of all time would easily be Grindelwald when he was posing as Percival Graves. He must have done the job to some extent to remain hidden so he was technically a functioning Auror.
Well, Graves was not an average Auror. That is my problem with this list. Graves should have been on the list, not an "honorable mention", and his place should have been right after Alastor Moody and Kingsley Shackelbolt. President Picquery, who was quite an intelligent and talented witch herself, never even remotely questioned Graves's extraordinary/a bit out of place powers, such as when "he" arrested Newt, Jacob, and Tina and confiscated Newt's suitcase without a wand and not uttering a single word. I know it was really Grindelwald, but still, he was far too strong not to be on this list.
@@noorykorky5056 I certainly agree with that. Graves must have been pretty powerful as well.Otherwise, people would have noticed a substantial change in his abilities when Grindelwald replaced him. Graves should probably be on this list too. My only point here is that Grindelwald was technically an auror (posing as Graves) for a time and would have been at the top of this list.
Moody might have been older and clearly less mobile because of his injuries, but there is no doubt he was still someone not to mess with. That is why I respect Crouch Jr. because he managed to capture Moody.
I think shackle bolt was WAY more powerful than this, however I can’t deny that Mad eye Moody is the strongest, however I’m not sure about your place meant of Rufus, he might not be stronger than shacklebolt, and definitely is not as intelligent.
I think he's talking at their apex. I don't think there's much doubt that Kingsley is the strongest in the series (and probably 3rd strongest overall after Voldemort and Dumbledore), but Moody was the Auror's auror. Comparing him to Scrimgeour is tough, but I'd give the edge to Kingsley for being much younger.
Kingsley's probably the most impressive auror. He took on two Death Eaters at once in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries and he was actually able to hold off Voldemort in the Battle of the Seven Potters, while Moody was killed. Maybe when Moody was in one piece, he was as good, but Kingsley has better feats in the books.
1: Harry James Potter (due to having defeated Voldemort) 2: Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody 3: Percival Graves (If Grindelwald was so powerful, how else would he have not given himself away for so long?) BIG GAP 4: Kingsley Shacklebolt 5: Porpentina "Tina" Scamander nee Goldstein
Frank & Alice should be ranked way higher. They denied Voldemort 3 times before they were tortured to mental collapse. Facing off Old Voldy 3 times and living to tell the tale is impressive. And surviving extreme physical torture (even at the cost of a total mental retreat) and refusing to give up details on rumors regarding Voldemort (Bellatrix was searching for him after the Potters were killed) shows their toughness even in defeat.
Considering Crouch Jr.s accomplishments I'd say he's definitely one of the most powerful and magically skilled Death Eaters that's why he was able to capture Moody Pettigrew is easily the weakest Death Eater
Harry potter became an auror too, and he is the only one who defeated Voldemort in dueling, and several other death eaters as well. Also he was able to defeat 100s of dementors when he was just 13 years of age. He should ne their too
Agree if this is in the period of the movies. If it was of all time, then for sure Harry should be at least top 2 in this list. He became the youngest Head of Aurors of all times in 2007. He was a very powerfull wizard, no doubt of that, he was probably between the strongest of his time.
I loved the fact that you put Tina Goldstein in this, but Theseus Scamander was also a very powerful auror from the Fantastic Beasts movies. Percival Graves was quite powerful as well, even though he was impersonated by Gellert Grindelwald.
Theseus may have been at the same level as Tina, but Graves was definitely more powerful than her. I mean, President Picquery didn't seem remotely surprised when "he", without a wand, casually caught and arrested Tina, Newt, and Jacob and impounded Newt's case-- all wandless, non-verbal magic. I know that it was not actually him as Grindelwald was posing as him (and that is why I put the word "he" in quotation marks), but still, the fact that President Picquery was not even remotely surprised says a lot (about both Graves's power and Grindelwald's).
Well yeah but even though Grindelwald was "impersonating" Graves, why doesn't he count as an aurora since he had all the qualifications and its never even stated whether "Graves" was a person or just someone Grindelwald made up to get hired as an auror.
I think Moody should be at the bottom of this list. He was killed easily by Voldemort, defeated by Barty Crouch Jr. (who spent most of his life either in Azkaban or under the imperious curse), and during the fight in the ministry he went down really fast. He also lost his eye, chunk of nose, and leg in 1 fight. Probably one of the only actual fights he was in during his career as an Auror. I’d judge all his reputation based off his investigative intelligence. We don’t really know what all he did as his time as an Auror, other than arrest a great amount of wizard and witches, and he demonstrates in the books that he is an unskilled dueler. Id rank Amelia Bones #1. Fudge mentioned her in book 6 when speaking to the Prime Minister. “We think that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named may have murdered her in person because she was a very gifted witch and all the evidence was that she put up a real fight.”
You are mentioning Moody only after his prime and after the 1st wizarding war. He captured Bellatrix Lestrange who was One of the most powerful Death Eaters, She was able to capture and torture the Longbottoms. Kill Sirius Black and Hold her own in a 3v1 Against Luna Ginny and Hermione which were all very gifted witches. The only reason he got his ass kicked from Voldemort is because Mundongus Fletcher got one good look at Voldemort and decided to Apparate away. He never had the time to do anything else to Voldemort. He fell in the ministry on a 2v1 After his prime. You cannot blame him for all his work on the field and still deciding to fight in the Second wizarding war. Batty Crouch was A smart and powerful wizard. It is said that Moody put up a damn good fight. It was once again a 2v1 When moody was no longer in his prime. Amelia bonds was never a Auror but Head of magical law enforcement. She was a super gifted which but I would not place her above Kingsley or Scrimgeuor.
Honestly, Barty Jr. wasn't only the most powerful death eater. When you really look at what he did and how easily he did it, having been unable to cast for something like 12/13 years, I wouldn't be at all shocked if he could have at least begun to rival Dumbledore one day, given enough time and room to stretch.
What did he really "do"? Okay, he and Wormtail managed to subdue Moody when Moody was apparently half-asleep (and definitely past his prime) -- he impersonated Moody (admittedly with great skill and cunning) for quite a few months; he killed his father (who was extremely weakened by then), turned him into a bone, and buried him. But we never really get to see him in action in any kind of real fight or wand-to-wand confrontation (Dumbledore certainly made short work of him after realizing who he was). He seemed to me like a spoiled privileged kid with an attitude, getting revenge on his father for not having raised him right. Over-ego'd punks like that are a dime a dozen in U.S. prep schools and Ivy League colleges.
@@jazzmanchgo Moody was past his prime, sure, but wasn't weak by any means. I doubt Wormtail would have been much help. Corrupted the goblet - first and only person to do it. Impersonated a highly trained veteran auror flawlessly, which means doing everything Moody could do without issue, giving a perfect impersonation that fooled people he'd known for decades. At least two human transfigurations, at least one of which was wordless. In the movieverse, he even affected the enchanted ceiling in the Great Hall and the enchantments on the school are not weak. And he did this all while developmentally at age 19, barely past graduation and with somebody else's wand. Most would have struggled with the transfiguration alone with their own wand, nevermind somebody else's. It's kind of between the lines and yeah, there's an ego there, but based on the information we have, he was actually kind of insanely good at it. Dumbledore - especially when approaching from behind - was still better, because he'd had decades more without restriction to grow. That and he's just Dumbledore. The last few scenes were pure plot convenience.
Moody's excellence is only in history and in the eyes and mouth of his colleagues. If you think clearly, we readers and movie watchers never read or saw Moody doing anything extraordinary. On the contrary, we saw a defeated and frail Moody captured inside his own trunk. apart from a small win in OOTP, next we know, he dies in DH. He may have been the greatest Auror, but we don't see him doing anything great.
I feel like just the fact that he was able to pretend to be Moody without ANY of the other professors or Dumbledore realizing it was Barty Jr shows just how freaking powerful he was.
Moody was one of my favorite characters in the series ........But just imagine had Richard Harris lived to finish the movie franchise as Dumbledore and as for Power even Voldemort thought twice before fighting him......
0:32 And that, Potterheads, was the old-fashioned, one-of-a-kind Bicycle Luggage-Rack Broom, or BLURB. It perfectly suited Mad-Eye's character, and had the space to meet his broader backside's needs. Rest in peace, Mad-Eye.
Polyjuice Moody and Remus Lupin were hands-down the two best Defense teachers in the books. I'm guessing the "real" Moody would have been just as good.
first is Alastor Mad-Eye, other places everyone can put as they see fit, but number one is crystal clear, half of azkaban is his personal result:D and shooting with Staff, like in 5th film, that was amazing:D too bad he didn't make to final battle, it could be glorious PVP to avenge dumbledor's death, between him and Tom (maybe he would lose to some random small thing as cliff-hanger moment climax but it would be a thriller duel)
I think Harry Potter should have topped that list. While I don't know what he did in his career, the fact that he faced the Dark Lord multiple times before his eighteenth birthday before killing him meant that he was a wizard with plenty of skills.
Top 5 Aurors, but still got wiped the floor with when facing Dumbledore or Voldemort. In Dawlish's case, Dumbledore stated that even though he got all "O" on his Newts, Dumbledore didn't want to hurt him.
This was a good list, but if it were up to me: 1. Alastor Moody, 2. Kingsley Shackelbolt, 3. Rufus Scrimgeor (his ranking could be the tied with Shackelbolt, though), 4. Percival Graves (as himself, not Grindelwald disguised as him), 5. Porpentina Scamander (born Goldstein), tied with Theseus Scamander.
Thanks for yet another great video m8. I wanna point out one thing though. If you look at the frame at 12:20 in this video. Don´t you guys think that the makeup department of WB did an amazing job ageing the kids in the epilog? I mean it´s almost 20 yrs ago since the ending of the last Potter movie and Emma and Daniel have aged pretty much the same as the make up artist guessed ,eh? give Daniel and Emma ten more yrs and I think they will look very close to what they look at the end of the movie :) - Makeup artists are so amazing :D
I don't know about Ron or Neville, but Harry has throughout the books/movies displayed an aptitude for Defense Against the Dark Arts - while he may be mediocre in other subjects, his talent for that particular skill-set, combined with his nerve, ingenuity, and passion for fighting the Dark Arts, he would certainly have made a greater-than-average Auror... though I cannot say whether he'd make the top 5 list, maybe the top 10.
Honestly, I think Neville would have just been recruited to fill the ranks. I'd imagine the Death Eaters killed off as many aurors as they could when they were in power and there was probably something similar to the Nuremberg trials for all the witches and wizards that sided with Voldemort. I think he has the strength of character just not the natural ability to be an auror in normal circumstances.
Are you only including pre Battle of Hogwarts Aurors, or do you count also post battle aurors? Because If you do, then were does Harry Potter fits in the list?
I would have put Harry Potter on the list considering he was crucial in dismantling many of Tom Riddles plans and was able to take down the dark lord himself. He later became an Auror in his career.
I think the problem with power scaling in Harry Potter is that, while Rowling is good at showing rather than telling when it comes to a lot of things, showing off how powerful characters are isn't one of them. There are obvious exceptions. Major characters like the Trio, Dumbledore, and Voldemort all clearly display their abilities, which makes sense since they're often the main focus of the story and we largely see it through Harry's eyes. However, a lot of the other characters tend to get Worf'd in the worst way. I think Dawlish is a fantastic example. We're *told* about how good he is at all of these things, but the only times we ever really see him are when he's faced with things well beyond a normal wizard's ability. And without actually seeing how good he is, him being defeated doesn't hold nearly the kind of impact that the author was probably hoping for. It just makes him seem lackluster in practice, regardless of what we've been told about him. For comparison, take a character like Vegeta in early DBZ. When he's introduced, he's depicted as this nearly unstoppable force. His subordinate crushes most of the heroes that we've already seen display their skills throughout DB, and when that subordinate isn't strong enough for the more powerful heroes, Vegeta dispatches him and begins handling things personally, at which point he displays his own powers in battle. The heroes have to throw everything they have at him, and are still only able to scrape out a stalemate at best, with both sides retreating to recover. In the next arc, we see Vegeta face several enemies that are shown (albeit through the increasingly lazy and less useful "power level" concept) to be as strong as some of the heroes were in the previous arc, and Vegeta dispatches them with the same ease that he did those heroes. We repeatedly see, through action rather than exposition, how dangerous and powerful he is. So when he suddenly gets curbstomped by a new group of villains, it catches the viewers off guard and they can instantly recognize how dangerous the new characters are, because they've already seen firsthand how strong the one who lost was. If we had never seen Vegeta prior to the fights where he's defeated, and had just seen characters saying "Oh, he's totally this super strong and skilled fighter," then their words might lend *some* weight, but ultimately it wouldn't have nearly the same impact when he loses. DBZ is hardly the epitome of skilled writing, but that's something it tended to do well, particularly in the early arcs of the series. That's what Rowling fails to do with a lot of supporting characters that are supposed to be super impressive. She tells us that they're awesome by having people like Voldemort or Dumbledore compliment their abilities, but she very rarely shows it to the audience, and then she has a stronger character easily dispatch them. Sometimes entirely off screen. Sure, being complimented by characters like that holds some weight, but even a rookie who actually shows what they do leaves more of an impression than someone who has repeatedly been called a master only ever being depicted as the loser. That's my take on it, anyway.
I feel that Percival Graves should be on the list. Grindewald impersonated him and everthing Gellert did in disguise as Graves is impressive. The Council did not even blink an eye when "Graves" did wandless magic. Plus Graves was the head of the equivalent of the Magical Law Enforcement in Britian at 37 Years old.
(Just some constructive criticism, no harm intended so please don't take it in a bad way): Something that I would change about the language used in these theory videos is to say "In my opinion" or "due to these facts, I believe" as otherwise what is being said comes across very matter of factly and as if it is official and truth, theories are meant to be about drawing conclusions from evidence and I think it is important to mention that, any theorist is drawing conclusions, most of the time without conclusive evidence as that is what theorising is about, pushing boundaries and expanding thoughts. I just think that sometimes it is important to mention that in the language because there is no pottermore or wizarding world ranking of the 5 most powerful aurors, it is a theory. Sorry if this sounds harsh, basically I would suggest that you just change some of the language used in your videos for future reference, I love your content, just that was something that I have noted lately.
i think Harry proves to be the strongest due to his display of the patronus spell..continually fighting riddle and succeeding as well as turning a disarming(defencive) spell into a killing curse just channeling faw power..lest we forget at the time he was not a fully developed or mature wizard..as well he wasn't using the elder wand either..meaning there was still much more Harry could reach..
Most top ranked death eaters are more powerful than Harry. He can hold his own only against Voldy, because he got his mother's protection and some of Voldy's own powers inside him.
Harry is only stunted by Voldys hoarcrux..he has NO protections in final battle, his potential can no be reached because he has no hinderences as the deat prophecy has no been fulfilled..JK.Rolling explained Knowledge is power..majic is just majic..Voldy discintegrated over harrys disarming spell..thats pretty tough..
I think Harry Potter in HIS prime came to rival Moody and maybe even Voldemort. At least in straight dueling. He wasn't as academically curious in other areas of magic but he has always been described as a natural dueler. Thus I think in a fight he rivals them.

if you´re unsure about the capabilities of either moody or crouch jr. think about this: moody is said to be responsible for about half of the prisoners being in azkaban and crouch jr. took this guy down with the help of pettigrew (a guy even schoolchildren can beat) and moody was said to be paranoid about constant vigilance or being attacked so even a surprise attack shouldn´t give crouch that much of an advantage
Maybe a video about who would win in a battle between Voldemort and Grindelwald.
It's in the works!
Voldemort without a doubt
@James Harold Grindelwald with elder wand(as he was a true master whereas voldemort wasn't) and voldemort with his original wand
@@shuvamacharya8001 That would be Grindelwald, then
Voldy would shitstomp.
Dawlish, really? All he ever did in the entire series was get his ass kicked. He was literally nothing but a punchline in Deathly Hallows.
He was a way better auror than showed in the series even though he is never a top 5 or top 10 or a top 50
He was the auror assigned to follow dumbledore, that should already tell you he is one of the best aurors.

He fought Voldemort in the battle of the seven Potters while having to protect Hermione and then together with Mcgonagall and Slughorn like bro he should be number two because Moody is like top one for sure .
true but scrimgeour faced up against voldemort alone, lost, but i think he was alone. Quite close though

I totally heard that in Bill Nighy's voice.
NICE ONE JAMES
They never rank Harry in Harry Potter rankings 😭😂
The secret to my success... CONSTANT VIGILANCE!

Another of Shacklebolt's feats was his duel against Voldemort at the end of the story, although he had McGonagall and Slughorn by his side, is still quite an accomplishment.
Considering they're working on a new show...centering it around Aurors would be dope
I love your videos. How about a video about other schools from wizarding world like Hogwarts?
I'd love a series centered around Mad-Eye, touch on the earlier Wizard Wars and he seems a character with so much backstory to touch into that it feels a shame that most of what we got to know of him was essentially someone pretending to be him, and him dying.
I imagine it like jack bauer from 24 but with magic.
We didn't even experience him dying, they were just like "he ded"
Percival Graves finds his place in just honorable mention.
I believe he was far superior than remaining 4, he was very high ranking auror in MACUSA.

Wow now that you said that I can't help but feel pitty for the poor criminals who had to face off against Grindelwald instead of your average Auror^^
11:07 “Dropped down a peg.” I see what you did there. Straight faced pun, classic.
Moody was one of my favorite characters, wish he would have stayed alive so we could see him do more
Moody might have been older and clearly less mobile because of his injuries, but there is no doubt he was still someone not to mess with. That is why I respect Crouch Jr. because he managed to capture Moody.
Thank you for doing this video
Tonks might not be in the top 5 but she will forever be my favorite Auror
I think shackle bolt was WAY more powerful than this, however I can’t deny that Mad eye Moody is the strongest, however I’m not sure about your place meant of Rufus, he might not be stronger than shacklebolt, and definitely is not as intelligent.
Drew Menck I would even argue that during the second wizarding war kingsley outclassed even moody
1: Harry James Potter (due to having defeated Voldemort)
2: Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody
3: Percival Graves (If Grindelwald was so powerful, how else would he have not given himself away for so long?)
BIG GAP
4: Kingsley Shacklebolt
5: Porpentina "Tina" Scamander nee Goldstein
Though anyone doubts about moody's being number 1....but still he will be in our hearts forever who fought the dark lord's army valiantly
Kingsley is one of my favorite characters in the series.

The Prewett Brothers (Fabian and Gideon) also. Everyone considers them legends even in death.
Agreed, I think he gets very overlooked in a lot of these lists.
I love watching this channel. Harry is such an awesome auror!
I feel that Percival Graves should be on the list. Grindewald impersonated him and everthing Gellert did in disguise as Graves is impressive. The Council did not even blink an eye when "Graves" did wandless magic. Plus Graves was the head of the equivalent of the Magical Law Enforcement in Britian at 37 Years old.

hornoable mention to harry the man who defeated one of the strongest dark wizards of all time, below people who had died at the hands of voldemort
(Just some constructive criticism, no harm intended so please don't take it in a bad way):
Something that I would change about the language used in these theory videos is to say "In my opinion" or "due to these facts, I believe" as otherwise what is being said comes across very matter of factly and as if it is official and truth, theories are meant to be about drawing conclusions from evidence and I think it is important to mention that, any theorist is drawing conclusions, most of the time without conclusive evidence as that is what theorising is about, pushing boundaries and expanding thoughts.
I think it would have been nice if moody survived till the battle of hogwarts to really see what moody could do
i think Harry proves to be the strongest due to his display of the patronus spell..continually fighting riddle and succeeding as well as turning a disarming(defencive) spell into a killing curse just channeling faw power..lest we forget at the time he was not a fully developed or mature wizard..as well he wasn't using the elder wand either..meaning there was still much more Harry could reach..
Thus I think in a fight he rivals them.
why maybe? Harry will always excel against Voldy because of certain 'advantages'. But he was just a 17 yr old boy against any other death eater.
Longbottoms are underrated, hence why Neville is considered a waste of potential before his epic scene vs the dark lord
