The first time you fall into a well defined cloud, you naturally tense up as if you're going to hit something solid. Then suddenly it's all gray and moist. No problem breathing. If you are with a group of other skydivers, everyone stops maneuvering until visibility improves.
The most amazing thing is when you come out the bottom, the earth below suddenly flashes into view in the most spectacular way. The word "Wow" runs through your mind and every body around you starts grinning from ear to ear.
I believe the FAA considers punching through clouds illegal. Why? Because often they are routing giant metal cans inside and through the clouds and you could hit one. Meat bags are also invisible to radar. Doh!

I'm a flight instructor and I can't think of a single reason why it should be illegal, as long as it's coordinated with ATC. They already route IFR traffic away from jump zones. Simply have jumpers get a block clearance before release.

That was an eye opener. but we didn't evade, it was past us pretty quickly. I'll have to look at the FARs and see what they say in Part 105.

I can only tell you from first hand experience flying a paramotor. I once flew through a relatively thick cloud. You do feel the humidity, its kinda thick tho breath in like in a sauna or something, so you def. feel the humidity. You also get a bit wet, the condensation quickly gets you soaked. And lastly you get disoriented very quickly in any sort of cloud.

So. I had this boss that was this green beret in Vietnam and after the war was testing parachutes. We were flying on this 4 passenger plane about 5000 off the deck and hitting massive turbulence. I was flying copilot and looked at my boss who was cool as a cucumber. If he was cool, I was cool. Anyways, the other guy asked if he ever got scared on a jump and he told us that during a halo jump, he was in the middle of a cumulus and for no reason got into a panic and pulled early. Watching this gave me a common point of reference to that story.

Skydiving through the clouds is so cool, I once did that too. Very recommended. Only two days of training needed and you can jump solo from 4k km. It is one of the best experiences in your life! Trust me! The feeling is so overwhelming, like you jump out of a porsche at 400km/h but stay at that speed, all the air is pressing against your body, it's awesome. 500% adrenaline, more rush than any drug, mdma, coke or acid.

Nice, and always love punching clouds. Looking at it at first was like whoa that's kind of low. Then I'm like oh you jump in meters and not feet like we do in the US. My first jump started like this. We had a new pilot that wasn't familiar with the LZ, not sure the reason why but he took us way off course and gave the single to open the bay door and load. Over a massive Florida lake, not part of the plan. We jump, alls good, i see the clouds and eyeing the openings as if i could manage such a task, i fell through the entire cloud bank, it wasn't scary, I was sorta mesmerized by the amount of moisture all around me. It was like getting sprayed by a garden hose set on mist. Jump was amazing. Once on the ground i heard a lot of yelling coming from the direction of the hangers....some of the more experienced flyers didnt waste a moment to bend that pilots ear.

Free falling through rain clouds sucks. Those pointy ends of the rain drops are all pointing upwards and it stings like crazy!
