I'm no expert on anything and have only my story to share. I'm 62 now but since my mid 40's I have had "arthritis" and chronic low back pain. I have taken so many pain pills, had cortisone injections and tried everything to no avail. Then at 59 I DROPPED SUGAR, SEED OILS and went on a ketovore diet for WEIGHT LOSS ONLY. I have not had a bit of low back pain or arthritis in the last 3 years now. Off all 7 daily medications and lost 52 pounds but the loss of pain was the best side effect I have ever experienced. Sounds weird, I know but this is my story.
So just fats and protein? You can’t have beets or sweet potatoes or fruits or nuts or any legumes?
Losing weight will also take the force off the joints and regular exercise stretches ligaments and promotes joint lubrication. So all of the results are holistic
Congratulations 🎉🎉 my body does best on Adkins... I add some healthy oils
Ditto
@@fazole I have Psoriatic Arthritis - all over. In my jaw, fingers and toes, weight loss had no effect on those areas. I stopped eating grains and pain free for 18 months. I do fasting too
I had random joint pain, especially in my knees. I went carnivore and all my joint pain is gone. Absolutely a metabolic issue.
I dropped seed oils and the majority of my arthritis went away. That and the Nightshade veggies like potatoes.
@@RandyM403 thanks for the information. 🙌🏻
Arthritis gone, foot pain gone, hemeroids gone. Gas gone, headaches gone, gaut gone, back pain gone, dizzy spells and chest pain gone. Carnivore
How did you do with cholesterol? I'm small (100 lbs.) I eat clean and my blood work has always been good, but now, all of a sudden, my cholesterol is going up. Do you think it might help? I also have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia.
Yep. Cut seed oils, wheat, and processed sugar and 80-90% of my knee pain & carpal tunnel pain disappeared.
I was on a super clean diet; almost had to quit my job as a concept artist due to wrist pains. Went keto; it became tolerable. Went high fat carnivore and it’s completely gone.
Are you sure it wasn’t from the fapping?
Thanks for letting us know, Mr. Divinefapper.
@@NukeCloudstalker That’s more tolerable too, because one arm has to use the mouse to skip the bad parts.
That's great to hear, did you have to do the diet for long to get results? I'm in the same boat and worry about the art career because of wrist issues. Would love to see your art too by the way
@@SketchedbySte I can’t exactly remember, since I started carnivore/keto for other reasons. But it didn’t take too long, 2 weeks to 2 months.
The fact that carnivores report an improvement in their arthritis symptoms also suggests that joint pain is associated with metabolic syndrome and hyperinsulinemia
@Ashlyn-qg5tt vegans say a lot of BS.
It definitely has nothing to do with "weight loss".
If than lowering insulin is a big factor...
My carpal tunnel went away within a week of starting carnivore. It was ineffable
Carnivore is an elimination diet. The fact that it often works when simple low carb does not points to some kind of a food intolerance.
@Ashlyn-qg5ttNo. The data clearly indicates that lean muscle mass is a major contributing factor. It's not solely about excess adipose tissue.
To remediate chronic inflammation you need to build and maintain lean muscle, reduce adipose tissue, get sufficient restful sleep nightly, and manage stress (cortisol).
@Ashlyn-qg5tt Except most carnivores experience improvements before the weight ever comes off.
90% carnivore here. Started carb cycling with white rice once every 3rd day and noticed my Inflamation in joints kick up a bit. My wife made a few home made sugar cookies with chocolate chips and m & m’s and I ate three of them with a scoop of ice cream and magic shell about a week ago. Needless to say I passed out asleep within an hour, and woke up
Within 30 minutes with searing pain in my knuckles and hands. Took a 72 hr fast to knock it down after that. It 100% causes inflammation
I was wondering if pasta would do the same thing to me. 90%myself too. 2 months in and feeling a lot better from chronic back pain. To scared to try to add pasta back in! The pain was debilitating.
@@blackhillsed4936don’t bother
I love a curry now and again so use cauliflower rice instead. It is not as tasty as proper rice but has far less carbs.
I agree. Grains set me off too.
Many people can tolerate them. I also think that many people are suffering because something they eat every is causing them pain, something they would not even consider.
Years ago I was working at a job where I had to park miles away from the office. Walking was painful. I went on a crash diet to cut way back on carbs for a few days and my foot pain disappeared. Previous such crash diets I had cut back on the wheat products but not eliminated them. I would never have known and probably just assumed it was growing older.
I started on this journey because of knee pain, wrist pain, elbow pain. No seed oils or grains in 663 days. My joints feel better at 37 versus 27
Fix Thyroid so that blood marker , TSH ( thyroid stimulating hormone) is below 1 (
Makes perfect sense. I have a connective tissue disease called Elhers Danlos. It makes one's joints and skin very mobile. Over time your ligaments can become so loose and mobile that your joints can become unstable. The combination of deconditioning from inactivity during the pandemic and aging made me develop all over joint pain very quickly in my early 60's.
I went to my primary doctor, had blood tests and PT several times, saw orthopedics, even saw a physiatrist and had imaging. They found injuries like a torn labrum and hip impingement. More PT. The Physical therapist never assessed me for anything but gave me a few exercises. I tried to do them but could not walk more than 4 blocks so ultimately it didn't do a lot. They did not connect my osteo arthritis pain and trigger fingers to inflammation coming from high triglycerides. This even though I was eating a whole foods diet but also high carb. I had no idea at first that I was suffering from metabolic syndrome because I was only slightly overweight at the time (26 BMI) and felt good except for the pain. I thought it was Elhers Danlos causing all of it.
Enter Carnivore. Within 3 weeks all the pain except for my injuries was gone. Now I know why. I still get pain from over work, bad posture, and compensation but I can recover quicker and keep trying to walk farther, do more PT exercises while walking and slowly gain strength. I'm also losing weight which will help me put less stress on my joints. How all those doctors could see me and not make the connection baffles me. I'm glad I saved myself. I've got a ways to go but I feel confident I can turn this around on carnivore and with my new found ability to move my body. I'm grateful to shows like this to help me figure out the patterns and fill in the missing pieces of what I need for true health and well being. Thank you!
I am 55yo have hEDS too and do best on a primarily animal-based diet, free of seed oils and grains. I was metabolically unwell at a BMI of barely 18, on a good day. You'll be shocked (s/) to hear it was overlooked. I think we might be wobbly in the metabolic department, as well. It just may or may not look a little different than normies.
Good on you, & thank you for sharing you inspiring story!
Doctors, if they can be bothered, or don't have much spare time, often only read the conclusions of studies. But these often conflict with the raw data of studies/surveys as the people conducting them rely on money from sponsors like Big Ag and Big Pharma.
I am 52 and have hEDS. I went totally grain free in july 2019 due to all reactions which turned out to be celiac + corn allergy. I mainly eat a grass fed meat diet with a little organic fruit (provides potassium). I do quite well on this diet. Have lots of energy and I can walk quite far. But if I would eat foods I react to (food sensitivities + allergies) my joints would be SO bad! I remember many years ago I had once ate the "wrong" bread and my knees got so bad I could barely get onto a bus. Yet last weekend I walked 11 miles. I definitely have a lot of food sensitivities. I believe its also the junk they spray on the produce too. I have managed to add eggs back to my diet. But I have figured out years ago its certain food that causes joint pain. Or ear ringing. Bananas give me ear ringing. I heard they are ripened with corn based gas. Its nearly impossible to avoid the dumb corn.
Thanks im a bit worried because of having heart probs n didnt use fats but had marge,s n seed oils also sugars in prrocesed n pasta vwg potatoes and spotatoes and juice s n not 100 mls 1/2 a bottle small writting probably enough for 4 and other not looking realy at what turns to sugar in carb s Ah
I know when I am eating wheat flour- my hands and hips begin to hurt, and I SWELL. The less carbs, the bwtter.
Carbs are junk. Fat is your primary energy source.
Me too! But I love wheat 🌾 but I try to avoid it
Also, may be because of the super-gluten in US's flour.
@@pazu8728Im not in the U.S.
Is it with whole wheat or just refined wheat?
Yes, I agree. As a massage therapist, I have strengthened my hands, fingers, wrist, and the rest of my body to endure the job over time. But last year my knuckles, started hurting and it felt deep. Not like my knuckle, but it felt like bone. Like what arthritis must feel like. And I noticed a direct correlation between glutinous foods and how it affected me. Switching to a ketovore lifestyle, I have had no pain in my joints and I recover after a heavy patient load sooo fast! Its incredible!
I developed arthritis after a fall in a store. I tried everything for the pain. Months of therapy, exercise etc. took anti inflammation drugs. Nothing helped. I recently had hip replacement. Prior to the injury I was in the gym 5-6 days a week. Did 8- 12, 000 steps each day.
Waiting to go back. Oh, I'm 74 years old. Have 40 lbs more to lose.
Perfectly timed vid for me. Diagnosed athropathy and a herniated disc l5s1. Tossed the drugs and just started walking... symptoms improved ten fold over a week. All my favorite health youtubers been saying this within the past week. Truly appreciate your work. You changing lives OG! GOD BLESS
Also take boswellia and turmeric/ curcumin. Working wonders.
I agree on the Boswellia, when I herniated my disk between l4 l5 that was the only supplement that actually helped.
Yes Metabolic, fix thyroid. Old doctors knew this connection. Optimal thyroid so that , under tongue, waking temperatures are between 97.7%F - 98.6F ( 36.6C-37.0C)
Just because your on thyroid does not mean your getting enough.
Fix thyroid, when dealing with any health issues, it is the foundation of energy delivery in the body. It requires energy to do the repairs!
Good luck
I took T3 for a yr, it did nothing
Fixing thyroid physiology is about impossible with endos
Theyre very stupid
Makes sense
BORON DEFICIENCY is also another cause of arthritis. It helps with the metabolic absorption of vitD and also bone health. It lowers estrogen levels and raises testosterone levels too! An amazing mineral that is missing from our modern day crops/food. I would love for you to do a video on this VITAL TRACE MINERAL.
Yes, I started taking it and my strength came back.
Where can you get it and do you know if their is a test to get checked for it many thanks will try to ask about it
Carnivore, 63, 10months in. Cured many things, but certainly arthritis, joint pain, lower back pain all gone, and in very short time.
I get severe joint pain from mostly sugar aka fructose. I do drink once a week so take that as you will. Anyway I went vegan last year and became a cripple at 53yrs old. I kept at it but my joints suddenly got so bad I was bed ridden. I thought I was sugar free but after looking at my diet I found up to 100gms to 150gms of sugar aka half fructose.I have to keep repeating this as some health channels, more specifically Delaur has repeatedly shown videos titled sugar and its detriments but shows bread, rice and pasta.
Anyway so I noticed the amount of sugar and did a test for a month where all I ate was non sugar aka pure glucose foods such as rice and pasta and oats. I found out that my inflammation is the worst from sugar, MUCH less reduced inflammation when on starch and little inflammation when doing carnivore. I am so sensitive to sugar that I went and purchased a canned soup and ate it one night and woke up in pain. I then tested and tested with zero sugar foods and lo and behold at least for me the fructose is the culprit. Its everywhere from bread to chips to even hot sauce.
Thx so much for keeping us updated! So much value and knowledge in your videos ❤👏🏾
I am 65. I am trim and I eat lots of protein and fat, with lower carbs. I have Little to no joint pain. My morbidly obese siblings are miserable and almost all of my conversation with them centers around their joint pain.
I'm carnivore and church potlucks are interesting. I'm 78, a pain-free carnivore. People say they wish they had half my energy as they eat casseroles, rolls, and desserts. Nobody wants to do what I do to be healty
Once again. Right on time for info I need . and affirming my health decisions. I'm so happy I found you a few years back.
I was on Carnivore fir 6 months, all joint pain went away, osteoporosis/arthritis was horrible, chronic inflammation gone. I recently went on a trip started eating carbs/sugar and it all came back ugh!! Hard lesson bank on Carni! Thank you. Will get the shoes!
Your content is so valuable!
Joint pain is a symptom of hormone decline! Not aging! Frozen shoulder is common in perimenopause and menopause and can be alleviated with hormone replacement! The same is true in men whose T levels have fallen. Hormone replacement helps tremendously!
My frozen shoulder completely resolved after getting an estradiol patch! Make sure to get enough though! I needed the max dose. 1mg estradiol to 1.5mg is great for me! Along with Prometrium. My knee and hip pain disappeared after just weeks of being on hormone replacement!
Any cancerous cells in men especially the prostate are fed to grow with T replacement. It is to cancer what fertilizer is to grass. Too bad but, that is a fact. Just monitor yourself well if doing T Replacement after age 50.
As usual great info love your work and content
I need this info! Thank you!
Thank you for making this video
Good advice. I've come to these same conclusions over the years and the improvements in my joint pain and inflammation have been life changing; especially by restricting feeding window, removing gluten and doing a few longer 48-72 hour fasts.
Excellent item thank you! So simple!
You are very articulate while speaking. Thank you.
Good summary, thanks.
I developed a trigger finger in my left hand after being very lax on my diet for a year or so. Drastically limiting starches and/or sugars has almost completely resolved it in two months. I have very bad circulation in my lower arns due to chemo injections I received many years ago when battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Being Keto/VLC keeps symptoms in check.
Awesome video...Please continue to revisit this issue in future videos to emphasize the massive importance of this topic. Thank you very much.
The masseur I go to is also a competitive power lifter specialised in benchpress.
He had joint pain for many years and puss coming through the skin at the elbow. He just figured it was due to all the heavy lifting.
A year ago he tried gluten free diet and lo and behold the pain went away. No puss oozing out longer. Also he regained mobility that he hadnt seen since being a teenager. So much mobility that he had to train 6 months to get used to the extra mobility and not get hurt competing innthe bench!
Crazy story. If I didnt know him personally Id never believe it..
I had trigger finger 6 years ago. It was awful and then I got RA a few years later. Which is in remission for almost a year on Carnivore. I had no idea about the Trigger Finger. Very interesting to learn more about the joints. Thank you : )
After accepting what I was taught re “wear and tear,” I began noticing that my patients with OA weren’t usually the ones “wearing out” their joints. Now, if orthopedic strategies are not effective and reversing signs & symptoms, I counsel on metabolic health strategies.
I’ve done keto for 6 years and carnivore for 4 months while having a steady exercise routine including weight training and lots of walking. I have not been overweight and have good muscle mass for a 61 year old woman. The best think for my joint pain is estrogen therapy. After a year of terrible hip and low back pain that I tried my hardest to exercise away, it turned out that tweaking my estrogen dose was the answer.
Try going off the estrogen n see how u do!
I bet you would be ok, honestly
Great video!! I went on
Low carb/ keto and go rid of all joint pain in my hips and headaches!!! I only get headaches now if I drink or eat carbs. Hips are perfect! I do take collagen and glucosamine by tablet which I think helps! I notice if I stop eating eggs my hair growth slows down (don’t know why!) I also take micronutrients, copper, boron, etc and minerals, multivitamins etc, omega 3!!! ❤
Truth!! I’ve been keto for six years and I’ve had zero body pain since about three months into keto. Amazing.
My vivio arrive in two days, I’m so excited!!
I’m getting those barefoot boots!!! Thank you for the discount code.
Excellent video!
The white cells reveal a lot about inflammation as well as the immune system. If neutrophils are consistently high there's inflammation in the body somewhere and it doesn't have to be an infection or cancer but the immune system is seeing something it doesn't like and could be arthritis.
If you're having joint pain and arthritis you need to take a look at what you're eating. There are certain plants that will cause inflamation in your joints. . Like mustard greens. All plants have an enzymes that protects them against insects.. This enzyme can cause joint pain.. Some plants you need to blanched with boiling salt water and then drain off the water to get rid of that enzyme
Most definitely 💯
Excellent video brother. I can't even function anymore. The pain is horrible.
2 months of 90% carnivore really helped my chronic back pain. I still use kratom daily but am able to back off the pain meds. Most of the really sharp pain is gone.
kratom. havent heard anyone talk about that in years. @@blackhillsed4936
For me too much coffee for long time. I would pound 4 cups of coffee in am then go running or hit the gym. My knees were killing me. Also all over my body mostly knees though. Been doing ketovore for years with cheat days here and there. Even got mri on my knees. I check my glucose all the time all good.Last resort quit coffee and joint pain went away. I think I developed cortisol resistance. Body wasn’t responding to cortisol. Like insulin resistance. For real couldn’t believe it. I’m 58 in good shape.
FBG should be 80, maybe 90
What was urs?
And ur HOMA-IR?
How much did ur BG rise after meals? Should move only maybe 10-20points.
Coffee is acidic. It has to do with acidic foods as well
anti inflammatory means no coffee for sure!
I am 61 and had an acute bucket handle tear of my left meniscus, surgically repaired 3 years ago. The right knee is much more troubling to me even though it has had much less mechanical injury. So yes to the metabolic theory.
Amazing video. Thank you for the information. I am only 25% into this video and am shocked at the information 😳 OA and the connection with Metobolic Health. I suffer from OA, RA, chronic inflammation, joint pain, herniated and degenerative disc disease, etc.....
I had a very good feeling that all my health issues were related in a way this.
Great video and info. Can not wait to watch the entire video...
Well I must be the exception. Have been keto for 3 years. We did daily weight training, walking. Then Rheumatoid started. My mother, grandmother, and great grandfather (same family line) all had RA. My condition has just continued to decline. I can barely walk. I am now waiting my biologic meds to arrive to try. I limit carbs to 10 net (whole foods only) and 15 total. I initially did get some pain relief with keto, but now RA is just getting more and more aggressive. If you have RA, it is very discouraging to make blanket statements about very low carb/weight loss alleviating RA. It doesn't always happen for everyone. However, I keto on.
Try high fat Carnivore ( lion diet ) for 90 days
Yes try carnivore and red meat. The Carnitine will support your mitochondria.
If you're doing keto it's possible you're eating more vegetables now? The oxalates might be hurting your joints and causing more hard than good. Stop eating plants.
Go carnivore.
Ditch the vegetables
RA is dreadful, so sorry. I have the same hereditary line Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma. I think perhaps 'genetically predisposed' is different to 'food sensitivites'. I truly hope you find what works for you.
( PS. I have ME/ CFS/ Fibro/ Hypothyroid and Alepecia universalis....but I am very thankful I don't have RA. 10 years Keto, to Low carb has decreased inflammation ...so I "Keto on" too.)
Try LDN. Low dosis naltrexone
My approach to heal my joints is to use them (without more damage) in order to generate signals for healing, combined with fasting and refeeding cycles (rocking the autophagy, stem cell activation song ;^). Good luck to us all.

According to Dr Sten Ekberg, Glucose is not the primary source of energy for our body (their info is wrong). Rather, the brain wants to get rid of that first.
It's also been found that we can perform better on protein and fats rather than sugar and carbohydrates.
But fats were vilified and so was meat protien ,,so lots of tests that were made to sell food at our
Loss of health by big foods for max profits just like IVAMECTIN WAS STOP ED FOR PROFFITS..NOT EVEN GIVEN A CHANCE TRIAL

@@matthewtrout1440 I see that you have chosen to be sarcastic towards me. Thus my knowledge, discernment, and what I have learned will be useless to you because you will not listen.
@@anonymousperson6462 That actually was rude, I apologize. But that definition paints glucose as some kind of a poison. It likens it to alcohol, which the body will burn first. But our cells do not produce alcohol, it is not essential to life, and the body tries to detox it as quickly as possible. Yet our bodies have cells that can not live without glucose, the liver in fact produces glucose because it is essential, and refills muscle glycogen even in the absence of carbohydrate consumption because it absolutely is a better fuel source than fat in certain circumstances.. It is the primary, in fact the only, source of energy for certain cells. None of that means a carbohydrate free diet can't work, but it's not because the body hates glucose.
@@matthewtrout1440 sugar is inflammatory, hinders the immune systems, can lead to diabetes, coma, cancer, and many other ailments. You think it's essential because you have let yourself be brainwashed into believing as such.
Yep, in the last 2 years I have learned to tune my metabolic system much better... add carbs for high output only... rest of the time healthy keto keeps me SOLID mentally and physically!
Hmmm 🤔 I wonder if there is a correlation with women who experience more joint pain in perimenopause…as hormones undergo such a change. I can see how this might be a factor in contributing to joint pain if the leptin hormone is also a contributor during this phase in a women’s health.
💯I CANNOT STRESS enough that I was in (unbeknownst to me) perimenopause & living in joint pain. I was still managing to workout physically fit/metabolically healthy eater but when I went to get up from sitting I could barely walk my feet hurt so bad, my neck with arthritis was EXTREMELY painful for years. I lived through a lot of varying types pain for a few years until I could no longer sleep without waking up soaking wet a few times a night & found out my estrogen was bottomed out & got on HRT. My life COMPLETELY changed. I could literally run again. My quality of life has done a 180 in so many vital ways. Hormones are VITAL to this picture & the whole picture.

When I was in PT skool over 30 years ago, that's what I was taught: "All wear and tear"... which doesn't make sense darn it! Definitely about metabolic dysfunction. What happens is that the degeneration begins from metabolic dysfunction and then the wear- tear kicks in and on top of that, most ppl don't know that they can change diet/ life style so the continue to do whatever began the process in the first place.. so of course it gets worse over time.

It could be an overgrowth of an endotoxin or bacteria in your gut microbiome is what is causing the arthritic pain. Certain types of carbs could be feeding these bacteria or endotoxin. That is why some feel better on a low carb or carnivore diet. It's not the consumption of carbs per se that is the root cause of the joint problems. Some people thrive of fruits and carbs without joint pain. Use of pesticides, antibiotics, certain seed oils, and other additives upset the gut microbiome which then could cause us to have issues with carbs. Another thing to consider is oxalates found in some plant products can cause crystals in the body leading to joint and muscle pain. But again, developing an oxalate problem usually occurs after taking antibiotics. I would caution people staying on a keto or carnivore diet that they will eventually develop thyroid and muscle cramping problems. Start researching bioenergetic medicine. I am not saying keto and carnivore are not helpful. They are to a lot of people. But you are really just treating the symptom and not getting to the root cause. The goal should be to get your body back to a place where it can tolerate a more balanced diet.

I'm 30 and was diagnosed with arthritis last year. I work out daily and do 45min walks and weight training (have for over 10 years). Unfortunately my joint pain still really ebbs and flows but can be so painful so I'll need to try a low carb diet. It'll be tough because I love to cook and will need to modify my meals greatly but I'll definitely give it a try because I don't want to get on pills.
Lol I’ve had so many injuries, but enjoy life and have a positive attitude towards your life!! I read all the comments and yes, pain is terrible and can cause great pain- I have it every day. Just change Ing diets is not a guarantee!!
I started having osteo arthritis symptoms when I was slim. It came with the menopause. I discovered for myself that when I got pain in my knees or ankles, I needed to walk for it to go away, but then the walking made my hips and lower back ache. I'm still waiting for carnivore benefits which haven't happened after several months of 0 carbs and eating almost no plants. I think I might not have been eating enough fat so, hopefully, eating more fat will mean less pain, as though the fat is lubricating my creaking joints.
This is true. Arthritis will come to me based on what and how much I eat, I had my worst trigger finger attacks after consuming greek yogurt. I had painful flares in my finger joints after a a few weeks of consuming cheese. I also had flares after consuming whey protein ( which is a processed food as far as I am concerned - anything that ground up into a powder that gets into your system very quickly).
Dairy protein is OUT for me as well.
I have always believed that the blood being slightly alkaline is so important that if we have overly acidic blood, then the body, with its wisdom, pulls minerals from the bone causing sharp arthritic spurs.
How do you achieve that, please?
I had elbow pain and knee pain so bad i was searching what kinds of surgeries were available.
I changed my diet and added heavy weights.... I'm 90% better. I still feel slight irritation in my joints and knees but it's barely noticeable.
Yes I’m low carb with osteoarthritis in my right hip exercise improves it greatly. Only aches in the morning. May try carnivore but it’s a boring diet to see if it removes the aches I have in the morning
I’ve occasionally had severe pain in one knee . It flares up when I have a sluggish lymph area in the thigh. When I get dried of that, the knee feels much better.
I’m 9 weeks into high fat carnivore, Im still not sleeping well and I’m in the peak of my shoulder bursitis flare. I sure hope this lifestyle will heal me soon. I am losing fat, visceral fat. I plan to stay the course, I read so many amazing testimonies in the comments. Thank you for the good information in this video.
Yes what works for many, may not work for everyone!! Complete blood work, hormone replacement, etc to find the weak link!!
32 years old dealing with joint injuries and joint pain which I am leading to believe is OA. I don't believe any of my issues are stemming from metabolic issues but it's possible during the pandemic. However, I am treating it as a metabolic issue. I'm taking MK677 which increase your metabolic rate. A long with a couple other peptides. I'm on a mission to heal and that sounds crazy but this video gives me hope. I was paleo before and during all of this so I don't see any connection between the food I eat but now I eat mostly meditaranian.
Just want to join to explain my experience. Knuckles pain for about two years. I just stopped eating oats and almost avoid dairy most of the days. Result is that I have zero pain at this time.

Sole-Runner has better shoes...unfortunately they don't sell in the USA and have discontinued my favorite shoe styles: Janus 2 and Scout 2 ( non-suede ).
There are some studies that show Leptin is implicated in immune associated diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Leptin is one of the inflammatory markers they measure to determine disease activity in the Vectra test.
Which vivos are you wearing in the video? Thanks
Going on a low carb/no seed oil diet has alleviated the joint pain I suffered, frequently waking me up at night. Unfortunately it has not fixed my lower back pain, which restricts the exercise I do.
I dropped seed oils and the majority of my arthritis went away. That and the nightshade veggies like potatoes.
Tomatoes!
Peppers! All types, bell & chiles
So unfair
These 3 are very much in most ppls diets
@@YeshuaKingMessiah tomatoes are killer, super inflammatory!
It’s true. Also some joint pain is the body detoxifying itself
i had horrible joint pain.
and oil and sugar had nothing to do with it.
i had Low T, and *zero* estradiol. im a male. i should have both. no estrogen =joint pain.
got on T.
no more pain.
I agree. I was fine until I was taken off birth control and forced into menopause bc I was 51. My hormones tanked especially estrogen which is very anti inflammatory and my whole body ached and was stiff and my hands had it the worst.
@@janetb2217have u done carni or even keto for a few months to see if that can help u?
I was way over producing estrogen, converting it to testosterone to try to get rid of it (male characteristics-FUN) until menopause chilled the estrogen out.
I was in alot of body last 15 yrs before menopause, even with all that estrogen! Only when I went keto would the hurt go away.
What advice can you suggest to a woman who is 77 yrs young with hip issues. Have been an active person most of my life, and was told i had arthritis 7 yrs ago. Used to ski, hike, walk and did gymnastics/cheerleading when young that I blame on my hip joint pain. BUT....this new way of thinking sounds good. Can I cure my hip issues by dietary means so that I do not need hip surgery?
Lovely hearing of Mike hiking with his daughter. Wonderful experiences for girls & any child to have, outdoors, sun, wind, the natural world, & excercise.👌🌄🧡
I managed to heal my knee arthritis with fasting and eating low carb. Might try carnivore for my wrist
this is interesting and I have been excercising and notice I have very little joint pain...however,. can you change from 8 to 12,000 steps, to break it down into a more easy way of incorporating excercise in every day life? for example what is the equivalent of the 12,000 steps? 20 minute walk up a hill? 30 minute walk on flat surface?
on on and on i`m conf
I never got an answer on how to solve my insomnia problems on carnivore. My cortisol goes up, my HRV lowers (because of severe sleep deprivation).... even after 6 weeks of strict adherence. And yes of course I take my electrolytes and minerals like Magnesium. I also took tryptophan and 5HTP to improve serotonin, but to no avail. Eating 100 grams of carbs solves the problem.
That's still fairly low carb, and if it works for you then hallelujah 🙌
6 weeks isn't actually a long time to really become Fat Adapted ,whereby, we become efficient at using Fats for fuel .Depending on the person , it may take 6 months to develop an efficient ketogenesis . It can depend on our metabolic health ,or lack of it ,before starting keto.
@@kenadams5504 my sleep deprivation was so severe that I couldn't go to work and became ill with flu eventually because of compromised immune system. So basically it's not for me, because of the lack of serotonin I experienced.
@@angieobes9835 yes, I'm absolutely keeping an eye on carbs and eat mine with the latest meal of the day to boost serotonin. But in the end my sleep is too important and having enough energy to work and therefore able to pay for food and bills.
@@martinepeters9891maybe after 4 mos of eating the 100g try going down to 75 and seeing if u still sleep then after a few more mos, have 50g etc
I swear my issue is leptin. blood work is normal except for LDL when im on low carb. weight loss is not happening. Now I have pain in hands and wrists and ankles and yes I try to move and will walk maybe a mile a day. Its a stubborn thing. Hoping good weather will allow walks after my one big meal. My carbs are lower.
Hmm. Well this is weird. I’m not overweight, I was an aerobics instructor for 20 years, then Pilate and yoga teacher for 10. I eat really well, have an 8hr feeding window, walk daily with my dog and my blood sugar is stable…. My joint pain gets worse and worse with every years that passes. 😢
Same here. Let me know if you get some ideas.
It really does seem to adhoc. But something is causing it - u must isolate the inflammation element.... No arthritis in my fam but cud hardly walk over Easter... v healthy life prev but bc (breast cancer) for years changed my metabolism... Anti inflammatory is ething - i keep healing from reassessments.... 18 months cudn't use right wrist but got it back, same w a meniscus tear - healed it - there is truly a link btw hormones, collagen, estrogen, and metabolism - age means we change....👌🏼👏
Possibly autoimmune. Needs verification by getting antibodies.
Vegetable oil fs me uppp. I thought it was just my hip, and it is most noticeably my hip. But it's everywhere. The worst part is the i flamed hip appears to put my whole back out of whack and it takes me days to recover
Alot of is down to a person's overall condition. Its actually not as,complicated as all this eat this don't eat that.alcohol, smoking and living on processed low quality foods will do it over time.but it's amazing how it's generally out of shape people who have these issues. Keep yourself in good shape and people be surprised how few problems they have.but not everything is due to inclusion of carbs usually far more nefarious behaviour going on
