When using mini egg cooker, to easily clean the any hard water build up vinegar while the cooker is hot then wipe with sponge. I love my egg cooker because i can walk a way and do other things! To peel the egg afterwards, tap the pierced side on the counter & rotate to crack all sides, gently roll the egg on the counter & place in cool water. I start by peeling a small circle where I pierced all place Back in the water, this allows the water to seperate the membrane from the hard boiled egg. Take the egg back out of the water & peel at the hole, grabbing the shell and the membrane & it should all come off really easy
I bought this and am very glad I did, although, I am eating a lot more hard boiled eggs now. And egg salad. Very healthy if you overlook the salt and mayo 😅😅😅

Hard water causes residue. Vinegar will clean it. Great little appliance
I love mine! Though it's recently not cooking the eggs all the way hard IDK why, but when had it for years so a new one may be in order
