    Absolutely fantastic video Graeme - love the intro 🤣👌🏼
    Great, impartial description of each product and i genuinely can't wait for the results video!
    As you know ive used 2 of these products recently myself but i wont mention them here as its not necessarily relevant yet - maybe after your results are up it'll be worth comparing different experiences 👍🏼
    So well edited mate and perfect anount of time spent on each product!

      Cheers mate , glad you enjoyed the video , little tip with Sonax, spray one spray with a forceful pull of the trigger , it atomises better and also you can dilute some at 1-1 for a lovely drying aid too 👌

    Look forward to the results graeme . The old BSD still performs with the best spray sealants IMHO , just bit tacky to remove sometimes

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks , I think the tackiness comes down to the trigger delivering too large an amount on the panel and could also combine with the wrong type of cloth , I find a really forceful pull of the trigger atomises it more and I used a perl weave cloth (low pile) to spread and buff with the other side worked a treat

      @NoFix 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@GMDetails haha i found my twin then. I like to experiment also. Even combining different products. 2 weeks ago i combined parla and BSD in a bottle and it gave clotts 🙈. Just to say, i experiment also. For now fusso coat+bsd on every wash got my girlfriends car almost a good 10 months protection before the lower doors started to get hit. Yesterday i applied fusso coat on mine and im gonna do a test with parla after every wash now. 🤓 Every few weeks i order a few new products which i think is good and try them. Last one was Bilt Hamber speed wax. Not bad but i found it annoying that the wax “sweats”. Also Soft 99 the glaco for on the mirrors does an amazing job for my rear view camera which is exposed. On the mirrors it gives a slight smoky tint, but for the camera its perfect. Yesterday tried also the compound of soft 99 before fusso and it was superbe also. Even did the windows with it and i was pleasently surprised.

    Hi Graeme. The current form of S&G has now been taken off sale for a reformulation. We have figured out the issue. Happy to PM you, obviously literal ingredients are sensitive info for public comment. But essentially current version is being adapted to become a dedicated wheel sealant due to how excellent it is at this. Just looking to increase heat resistance.

      It has mainly to do with using a garden hose rather than a pressure washer, using water to demonstrate water behaviour can sometimes throw very different results, they all seem to show a lot of water retention really using the hose 🤔

      Very interesting question !! I always go with sealants are never good on top of a wax but the hybrid ones like the Turtlewax , GB Detailing Silk and the Stjarnagloss Parla can all sit on top of a wax , I wouldn’t use GT 3CS over a wax they have Sigma for that as well as their QD , but you can apply any of them UNDER a wax if you wanted to 👌

    BSD is a fantastic product that Ive used as a drying aid . I find the gloss is pants but the water behaviour is fantastic . I love GT 3 CS personally, the gloss you can get I found great . One you didnt test i have used is Go Detailing spray sealant . A lot like CS its a good product but like it its a more time consuming to apply product . Another I have used is the Auto Glym spray ceramic detailer . Weirdly I find it a good product and lovely to apply yet its not one Id reach for from my product holdalls. Love the fact your doing a real time test as good as some reviewers are with showing application videos its how they last that will interest many . Personally if it lasts a month Im happy as I just love the application side of car care over the OOOOOH its lasts 36 months if you wash it with fairy tears approach

    Hi Graeme I have used a few sealants over the last few years but only the GT CS from that lineup. It will be interesting to see how long your selection lasts. As you are probably aware I am a wax guy from John@M & K but I play with a few other products on cars I look after for other people. I often use M & K Rinse as a topper for a car when the wax is failing before I then remove and start again. I am currently loving Gyeon wax that I think for water behavior is as good as a ceramic coat and I have re visited my bottle of Auto Finesse Lavish Ceramic foam which beads like crazy. My weapon of choice for wheels is a combination of M & K Armour & Wax + on my Jag and the other one I use for other cars is Gyeon wet coat which I also use for plastic wheel arches on all cars mine or others. The GT CS seems to like a layer of Sigma as a topper and then maintained with their QD but I found M & K shortly after buying those products and they have sat on the shelf ever since so I forget the longevity I got from it. I have always meant to re visit it but never got round to it.
    I like your new car and the colour is just perfect. I was a fan of MG before they were Chinese owned having had a MG ZR 2.0 D and the 2nd Gen MG ZS 180 2.5L V6 which was my favourite car that I have ever owned that was not a JLR product but it only did 5 miles to the Litre and at the time I lived on the Isle of Lewis where petrol was not the cheapest. If MG did an Electric SUV 4X4 with a range of 300+ I would seriously consider it next time but for now the i-Pace is a keeper as 400PS is so good and the sound system from Meridian makes up for the lack of engine & exhaust notes my Mini JCW had in spades. I look forward to the follow up films.

      Thanks John, yes I still remember you 😅
      The Gyeon wax is that the roll on one ?, launched a couple years ago?, haven’t heard much about it since it launched but then there are so many new things coming up so often.
      Ahh ROVER MG , good cars with a little bit extra , I wanted the rover 200 in racing green with orange front grill, thought it looked awesome but maybe not now 😅
      I think you’d think it was too much of a comedown from your ipace to a Chinese MG electric but they do have the new MG-4 which doesn’t look too bad

    • @johnbrown3951
      @johnbrown3951 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GMDetails The wax is the roll on one. I bought it when I got my JCW coated then sold the car so it sat on the shelf for nearly a year. I love the ease of application and removal and the water behavior is crazy. I think a Rover 200 would not be so cool these days but I loved my MG ZR in the day. I bought the yellow one as I thought it would be rare then drove to Skye to work and there were 3 parked in the street including mine who would have thought. Yes a bit of a comedeown but I do like the heritage of MG and after losing £20k in the value of my electric car in a year it might be the most cost effective thing to do in this economic climate but will need to keep i-Pace for a few years yet.
