another great video that focuses on one specific area of detailing. i mark my 5 gallon buckets at the gallon marks but i also have a stick, like a long paint stirrer, and put it in the bucket and mark the gallon lines on the stick so it can be used in any similar 5 gallon bucket to measure the water level.....i just had an idea i could drill a 1/4" hole at each gallon level on the bucket and put removable rubber plugs in the holes so if i want 2 gallons in the bucket i take the plug out at the 2 gal mark, run water into the bucket and when the water comes out the hole i got 2 gal and i put the rubber plug back in, oh well, maybe that's going a bit too far but nick might like the idea :)
I've said this before, make sure you have plenty of those small filters on hand for your IK foamers if you're using all clean 15:1 that way, in less than a week it will clog and turn black after minimal use. DIY make extremely great products but in the foamer using all clean you will experience blockage from residue very quickly compared to other products, nothing to be too worried about its a terrific APC but just something to be aware of
With the exception of food prep areas, what indoor areas can you use All Clean on if diluted down to 30/1 or 45/1--tile floors, safe on grout, counter tops, etc...?
Very very informative. Never knew rinseless solutions didn’t soften water, thanks for that clarification. All Clean is available as a ready to use in the 16oz bottle, ever thought about a 16oz bottle of concentrate???
Yvan, I am confused by your math saying a 32 ounce spray bottle needs 1 ml of Rinseless or 1/28th ounce of Rinseless. A 32 ounce spray bottle is 946 ml's, just shy of a full liter. A 256:1 ratio to 946 ml's I calculate would say that spray bottle need 3.69ml or round up to 4 ml's of Rinseless not just one? And since 32 ounces is 1/4 of a gallon and a gallon gets a half ounce of Rineseless, wouldn't a 1/4 of a gallon (32 ounces) need 1/4th of a half ounce or 1/8th of an ounce, not 1/28th? Maybe I am screwing up the math somehow but I cannot work it out in my head.
I only use distilled water for my rinse less and foam cannons that’s why I love the hybrid wash system it reduces the chances of water spots so much bc I have really hard water where I live
Which IK sprayer do you recommend? I see several that look just like the one you have but they all have different names and its unclear if the "Multi" or the "Foam" is the right one.
I buy all your products in gallons sizes that are available. I only do my personal vehicle. I put them in the graduated squeeze bottles that come marked with oz. and MLS. Easier than pouring out of a gallon jug and no cap measuring which can be difficult for a 66 y.o. with arthritis. Also my 5 gal. buckets come with raised lines at gallon intervals.
Survived Milton, watching my truck out the window with my friends ( live in condo), they couldn't believe how the water was sheeting off my truck (8/3 applied in March) saying it looked like Niagara falls and surrounding vehicles ,some coated professionally were flat. 😊
Hi guys, i bought a gallon of All Clean. What’s the expiration date or how long will it last and still be effective if its sealed and never opened? Also, once it’s opened, how long will it last and still be potent?
I recently bought de-ionized water from watching one of your videos (to help with water spots etc) but in this video you never mentioned de-ionized but distilled water, can I use De-ionized instead of distilled water for storing ready mixed / ready to go ?
I find dilutions simple! Example in a 1000ml bottle (1 liter). I add the parts, example 15:1 makes 16 parts, so 1000/16 = 62.5ml of product in the rest of demineralized water (937.5ml). Like the percentages 1% = 10ml per liter 2% 20ml per liter and so on......
So Yvan, I just Purchased the IK FOAM PRO 12 Foaming Sprayer. How would I best use the Rinse Less Wash in it, and Would I need to Add any Incredible Suds to the MIX to Wash My (HOUSE) 😳... My F-150 Super Crew Pick Up Truck 😂... Thanks For the Great Video's BTW.
I know this is of topic, but what is the secret to removing bugs that have baked onto your vehicle? Used p&s bug remover, turtles foam bug, and tar remover. Nuttin is working.
Just experiment with your products until you find what you like. Then, try and do the job with less chem to see if you get the same results. Write down every time until you nail it perfectly.
Question on rinseless wash - we are not using it in a typical use case but we have found out that using rinseless wash (v1) on the kitchen stove (and the wall adjacent to the stove) cleans extremely well and really simplify cleanup. We use in on a cool surface and generally food do not drop on the stove. Is that ok or is it not recommend? We avoid using it on the dining tables just in case.
Very informative video! Btw can you add some all clean to your foam cannon that has incredible suds inside of it for super dirty cars that hasn’t been washed in months? If so how much is recommended
Does the chemical go bad when stored? I hear you saying it can smell but is it not working at that point? seems like it would encapsulate minerals as soon as you mix it. I have well water and have had it mixed in a keg for as long as a month with no smell. So is it still good even if it smells? Thanks
Thanks Yvan for clearing up on dilution ration especially in the cannon . I always guess 10:1 ratio . Il stick with 8ounces of allclean to 128 ounces for my 3.5L pump tank. I pretreat with allclean 10:1 in the mjjc cannon and 4 caps full of incredible suds to amp up the foam and dwelling time. I let sit for almost dry but still some suds on then rinse off with pressure washing. Then ill lube it up with rinsless wash and let it sit then spray with the pump tank and start washing with the sponge. Im a little more cautious but it works great . I like how the black trim comes out so nice.
Just used All Clean 15:1 to enliven the steps out in the landscaping. It worked on the brick and the wood with a little time and agitation. Great products! #AllClean
I watched the video from a couple yrs ago with you guys using Quick Beads in a foam cannon. Should gallon size Quick Beads be diluted? And can it still be put in a foam cannon?
I think we should make a short on sprayer maintenance for 16oz spray bottles with say ceramic gloss or the like. I recently had a ceramic spray trigger quit working. Now I spray rinseless or clean water through the sprayer when I’m done with it (hobbyist detail so I’m not using them daily)
Will DI water have a negative impact on diluted rinseless or all clean if I mixed a gallon and didn’t use it all and wanted to store it for a week or two, no longer.
I have the IK 2 foamer and I kept having to do math every time I'd fill it up. I saved an empty distilled water bottle to mix All Clean one gallon at a time. Just wrote the dilution amounts on the side then I put some Incredible Suds in when I put it in the foamer. Question: If I can't be bothered to get a foam cannon and do 90% Rinseless but would be interested in a 'hybrid' wash once in a while, I figure I could get some foam out of my IK Foamer with some Incredible Suds, what ratio would you mix that at?
I used the exact method of a gallon milk bottle to mark my bucket last year. My question is, the one cap full to a gallon, is it the cap of the gallon bottle of Rinseless?
@@diydetailofficial I didn't know if the 16-ounce bottle cap was a different amount than the gallon cap I've been using. I've been using the gallon cap all along.
Does it ever make sense to buy concentrated solutions as a DIYer who only works on their own car? Will the product expire (in general, not just DIY solutions) once opened too quickly if you're only washing your car once a week or so? Or does it actually make sense to "save" money and buy the prediluted stuff even at a higher cost/oz if you're just going to have to throw away a lot of the concentrate?
Lol, just tested it real time. I take B-12 shots so had a syringe. Did my bathrom mirror, my fionce bathroom mirror, all my door jams so I don't have to do them tomorrow morning and all in a 32oz spray bottle lol. Without question worked.

Excellent video 👌👌👌. How you guys use fluid jibber jabbers is beyond me! 😂. A scale whereby 0-100 is a far easier and accurate system of measurement. 4ml to 1000ml of water couldn't be simpler. Working out panel impact ratios using the metric system is a piece of cake to do and gets you the maximum out of your product simply and keeps costs at a minimum. One criticism about DIY products (virtually thee only criticism) is having a metric scale of measurement on the bottle labelling. What would be cool for your guys to have would be a dual peel label on the bottle with every ratio of usage that the product can do, and have that in metric too. Having a QR code is handy, but takes too many clicks on your phone screen with wet fingers and hands because some people might not be prepared in time 😂. I'd love to see all that information printed on the bottles 👍

If you want a 15:1 , and your foamer has 1 Liter container, and you want it to fill it completely, divide a liter with 16 , because 15+1 = 16 . Convert everything to milliliters so you're working with same units . 1 liter has 1000 mililiters ...
