- SCP-001 is both a and Euclid and Keter Class anomaly also known as The Gate Guardian.
SCP 001 is a humanoid entity, approximately seven hundred cubits or roughly 1,000 feet in height, located near the intersection of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. SCP001 stands in front of the entrance of what many believe to be the Garden of Eden, the location described in the bible as a perfect paradise, where Adam and Eve were allowed to live until they ate the fruit of a forbidden tree.
SCP-2317 is an anomaly also known as The Devourer of Worlds and A Door to Another World.
SCP 2317 is a wooden door and frame originally constructed as a basement door for a 19th-century Massachusetts brownstone. Upon opening the door, any person stepping through the door frame will be transported to an alternate reality, where a primeval entity known as "The Devourer of Worlds" was captured and imprisoned by Erikeshan mystics circa 1894 BCE

and it was a draw
I would think the solution would be obvious. Take the door to any number of other dimensions, empty alternate universes, black holes or any and every combination of these and throw the door wall or entire structure in. Then destroy the key/gateway. Even if it doesn’t kill or stop him from getting out it will still give The Foundation however more time for it to figure out how to get back to the Earth so they can prepare or excavate as many as possible.
Interestingly enough, this was kinda a solution in Project Isorropía, except they threw it in a portal that lead to the fifth world, resulting in both the devourer and the fifthist entities now fighting each other for all eternity
nah they will probably be like "we would rather use that time and resources it would take to do all that to try and fix the chains holding him as they already are doing a good job just need some maintenances" or like a ritual
Perhaps get a Red Right Hand operative (due to their apparently unwavering loyalty to the O5's) to drive a semi truck with the door/wall into SCP-2935 O, Death and then order the agent to commit unalive after after getting the door a good distance away from the entrance. That, or use a D-class and unknowingly rig them with a bomb... or, of course, use a drone if they have access to one capable of transporting something... I believe the assumption is that if it doesn't die outright by entering, it won't even know how to get out once it's there.
Transporting the door is a good plan, but destroying it I don't think it would work.
The door isn't mobile. Site 19 was built around it. That's how I remember it?

Take a toy of the Matrix of Leadership and put it into SCP-914 on very fine. Hopefully a worthy person will get a hold of it and unleash its full power into this Devourer. If the Matrix of Leadership can defeat Unicron, the Devourer wouldn't stand a chance.

SCP - 096 would not be able to do anything, even atomic bombs cant pierce the devourer's skin. I dont think his claws would do anything. also the devourer's feet streches proably up to 20-50 km long and 096's claws combined proably reach about 1 meter

Who is the most powerful SCP now?
@Eddie Santos Not at all, 3812 is in the top 10 maybe top 5 most powerful yes, but a few stronger proposals have been made since then. Particularly new revisions of the Scarlet King and 682 to name some and expansions to the Proxy Verse where 001 Swann entities reside. For example the SCP verse has been flirting with Pataphysical premises such as the idea of “constants” with 682 being one of the few identifiable constants out there. Basically 682 is a boundless entity because it is a antinarrative or positive narrative opposition that exists to always serve as a threat to the narrative of the foundation. Scarlet King has also become busted af thanks to the Chinese Branch where the Scarlet King ate his author, consumed the whole infosphere and the narrative stack 3812 was ascending and 3812, and apparently has a true form called “Scarlet Demon” which has been crafting all anti or negative narratives the foundation must go against story wise with the “scarlet king” we know of simply being some avatar of itself it interjects in the story for the Foundation to contest with.

I run into once again, enjoying the writing of this in the narration, but also wishing that this wasn’t about two of the SCP’s that we hear about the most. TheseThese are clearly well-made and a lot of thought is put in,.. but I’d be lying if I said I wish it wasn’t an SCP I hadn’t heard of before. I’m not really interested and to fall asleep tonight I’m going to be playing a playlist that will include a variety of different SCPs. Goodnight, SCP explained. I hope we get videos about something other than the same few anomalies soon. You clearly have a great team here. I hope we see new and different work from them soon.

It should be noted that SCP-001 has been struck with nuclear weapons before. Of all the weapons the Foundation could leverage against him, that was the one that provoked him to cocoon himself in his wings (and sustaining no visible damage despite taking on a visibly defensive posture for the first time)... and also to manifest fury for probably the first time in the time he's been known to the Foundation.
Needless to say, his dramatic, rapid, and hugely destructive disposal of the offending nuclear submarine, and everything around it in a large radius, means that the Foundation no longer provokes him in any of their testing.
Point being: Nukes are NOT in the league of doing damage to anything in this fight. A momentary inconvenience or a distraction at most.
Also, he managed to strike a nuclear submarine, presumably with his sword... without appearing to ever leave his position in front of the gate, so he wouldn't need to get very close at all...
If 682 is to be believed, the gate guardian is not Uriel, but a pretender. If he really is not Uriel then why does 343 call him that, is even 343 playing along?
It has to be an avatar, clone, or something of sort. Cauz like you said scp 683 clearly stated that was not Uriel. Maybe the real one off doing another mission for god or something important. Cauz if he isn't there fighting where is the real one since this is an Armageddon level event.

SCP-24355, or simply known as the "Talking Bird", is a sentient and sapient avian that is able to speak fluent English. The exact origin of SCP-24355 is currently unknown.
Due to its friendly nature and lack of anomalous properties, the Foundation has allowed it to roam Site-03's Site Command.
You could tell that 343 understood that upon the devourer of worlds finally breaking free of its bonds that he had no choice but to execute that order to recontain the devourer

This all seems written in such a soft tone. I mean in the way you can recognize a person who has never been in a fight. That's how the personalities on this are. The way that ureal needed motivation to keep fighting. What a soft minded creature. It might helpto learn what those with heart act like. I don't believe ureal would stop until he dies.

Tha Gate Guardian Uriel can fight & face off The Scarlet king & his Children's on a stand still , make a deal at the end because The S,K couldn't killed Uriel nor Uriel couldn't killed The King all because it wasn't the right time nor day for the real way begin.

So… what would happen if they dropped the tickle monster, scp 999, in the ground with the devourer of worlds?? By nature, the devourer would probably sit there happily whilst no longer attempting to break its shackles. That would be perfect for buying time whilst coming up with a new way to re-shackle him. Enjoy the story. The DofW has not been explored much outside the initial file and 343 has much untapped potential (no pun intended). Not big on these X vs X stories, but the writers chose some underused characters, reviving the best possible experience of the format.

It's a little bit off, the Gate Guardian fight against the Scarlet King & his children's, and stand strong not even the SK couldn't killed Uriel.

But this video still doesn't make The Gate Guardian seem to be smaller & less powerful,🤔 remember Uriel face & fight the Sk Children's and each one of them is a universe levels threat or more and Uriel beating them all easy.

If you think about it, what if the garden of eden was an alternate reality as a backup for humanity? I am aware that there is a scp that stands as a back up, but what if the world's reality would crumble? I think that 343 made so that reality can be safe behind it.
