- SCP-001 is both a and Euclid and Keter Class anomaly also known as The Gate Guardian.
SCP 001 is a humanoid entity, approximately seven hundred cubits or roughly 1,000 feet in height, located near the intersection of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. SCP001 stands in front of the entrance of what many believe to be the Garden of Eden, the location described in the bible as a perfect paradise, where Adam and Eve were allowed to live until they ate the fruit of a forbidden tree.
SCP-001 is a formerly Keter Class now Safe Class anomaly also known as The Scarlet King.
SCP-001 is currently located in several alternate dimensions simultaneously, and is unable to enter into the prime dimension. However, it is believed to have been repeatedly attempting entry. The physical, mental and conceptual properties of SCP 001 are unknown to the Foundation; nevertheless, it continues to assert a strong influence on a number of individuals and events within the prime dimension. Should SCP001 enter the prime timeline, an irreparable alteration to normalcy will occur.

Gate Guardian definately did not agree to the deal. His whole purpose is to protect the garden with his life. Why would he just say "Oh well, guess I'll leave." and let the Scarlet king destroy the garden.
Exactly, it's an incredibly dumb premise without something to actually tempt him some how. like I mean How on earth do you make a deal by saying "look right now you could wipe us out eventually, and I know this is like your only duty of your existence. But how about you let me run away power up and then I'll come back when you're not home in order to destroy the thing your existence is meant to protect"

@@fakdsystem9283 That doesn't really make sense though nor is it how it was phrased in the video. They implied that he told the guardian he was going to do so.
But regardless it makes no sense considering the guardian was winning. in order for him to make a deal he needs to offer something persuasive to the guardian.
Moreover based on how the guardian acts it would make sense as long as he left the area and stopped being aggressive, the guardian would stop attacking once he leaves the designated area.
From my understanding from previous videos his only goal is to protect the garden till rapture which is where an entire army of his being comes and cleanses the world at that point he no longer protects the gate as in previous videos when he shows the visions of the rapture happening he says “prepare” and the scarlet king realizes this that he can just amass power and wait for this event to happen as the guardian won’t be obligated to this duty anymore and the rest of his brothers have one goal in mind judgement because it’s even stated the only thing that even might have a chance to defeat the scarlet king is his last son scp 999 as he directly counteracts all that the scarlet king the gate guardian gave humanity everything their warnings and even gave information of what’s to come in all interactions so I think his duty and vow is all he feels like fulfilling that being protect garden till the rupture then he’s out
When Gate Guardian said "LEAVE" at the end may mean two things:
- He simply told Dr. Montauk to leave....and
- He (Gate Guardian) REJECTED Scarlet King's offer and told him (Scarlet King) to LEAVE

It's funny the Scarlett king struggles against creation itself but being part of creation the poor guy doesn't comprehend the forces that made him. The power that exists beyond his reach. The Scarlett king in my conclusion is NOT the biggest thing no matter how much knowledge about him would be leaked. There is a realm beyond his own. The one who created the tree of life would inevitably be far superior to the Scarlett kings and would remain so regardless of the situation. But to bet on that entity to interfere might not be good.

Considering the Gateguardians power, he could easily dispatch all of them even with time slowed. He clearly knew time was being slowed by that daughter. After all, he was able to obliterate all the sisters at once with a single swing even with time slowed. If he wanted to, he could have killed the time slowing sister with that same swing and annihilated them all. I think he knew they would leave after his show of force, meaning he did his job. There was never a match to begin with.

@@Dino_Commando this video is made up. In the actual scp lore, SK is powerful enough to damage the tree of knowledge, which contains the whole multi-verse. You can find this info in the tale ‘Dust and Blood.’
Guardian accepting Scarlet Kings deal seems silly, but on the other hand, his singular purpose was to not let anyone in and warn others to leave or anihilate them when they won't listen. So instead of a "deal" this makes sense if the King tol Guardian he will leave, aligning himself with its purpose, giving it no further reason to fight. And than he boasted it that he will eventually complete his objective when Guardian won't be there to stop him. Angel didn't strike a deal to lose, he just allowed someone willing to turn around to leave in one piece

In SCP-682 vs SCP-001 (The Gate Guardian), SCP-682 Stated that the Garden was far west of the Garden that "Uriel" is Guarding.
So, what if this garden is a fake, and the Real Tree is somewhere in a dimension to which the entrance is far west of this fake Garden? And the Scarlet King is just chasing after nothing?
Take note, the gate guardian is just a subordinate of a much powerful entity the SCP foundation knew existed, but haven't even seen yet.

This is a true show of how strong the gate guardian is.
Even when severely slowed down and tired out after fighting armies upon armies. He was still dead even with the Scarlet king in power. Now of course this Scarlet king haven't got his unwordly armies of low Elder God's capable of shaking the multiverse with a single thought, nor has he eaten billions of low Elder God to achieve power that shook all of existence at his awakening.
But this was still the Scarlet that enslaved multversal God's and was powerfull enough to conquer some dimension. And the fact that after being severely nerfed. The gate guardian was still able to fight on par with the bringer of chaos. Of course the gate guardian is nowhere close to the post revival Scarlet king(guy literally Turned all of creation to dust. Fought againts 7 God's that the brother's death themselves sent, nearly destroy the tree of life, and even after being severely nerfed, was fighting on par with the brother's death's armies. Not to mention he ate billions of low Elder God's, enslaved the hanged king, yaldabaoth and many other low Elder God's. He literally became the gate of power that severed the low Elder God's and the high Elder God's) but that was still impressive, you gotta give the gate guardian credit for even challenging the Scarlet king.

I’d love to see a documentary between CN Scarlett King and Gate Guardian. While the Gate Guardian would.. likely die, it’d still be interesting. I’d also like to see the fully powered up Scarlett king against SCP 3812.
SCP 682 during a cross test said that the Gate Guardian was an imposter, and that he was not Uriel. Second, he said that this was not the garden and that the real one was west of there. 682 was the serpent in the original garden. The gate guardian took the deal, because maybe he knows it's the fake garden, maybe a trap for the Scarlet King.

It's really not, they are using a much stronger version of TGG and a much much much weaker version of SK, so much so that this version of SK hasn't even been written down in the wiki.

I'm pretty sure that 682, as a child of the Scarlet King and the biblical snake, was tryna commit a blasphemy to piss off Uriel to get him to kill him (knowing that Uriel is not allowed to kill him until Armaggedon)
I think in cannon it is and isn't because the true form is above the plane of existence along with some scps 343, scarlet king, the gate guardian, 682, etc..., but the garden we see is a lesser representation of it.
What I got from that story was 682 was denying God and therefore denying God's power, giving himself resistance

@@unoriginalhazard Problem is, in this case, I doubt the Gate Guardian is limited to phisical power, it must have powers beyond that, the farthest anyone has gotten past him was barely anything and it was one of the Scarlet King's daughters, and even that was a feat on itself
The gate guardian probably has an ability to sense if another guardian is nearby and if it doesn’t go off when the scarlet kings daughters pass he’ll realize they’re frauds and cut them down

Yeah do they really think they would be dumb enough to leave the portal to the tree of life completely unprotected where any rando can just waltz on in? He created a being whose literal whole entire purpose in existence is dedicated to just standing there and protecting the Garden from intruders.
Alternate explanation: A long-running theory is that the scarlet king is to SCP-682 what satan is to the serpent in eden. 682 is just a physical form of a larger entity. And 682's hatred for existence lead him to want to deceive humanity in order to destroy humanity... and therefore his punishment was to be unable to die... to be forced to watch humanity grow and flourish and be forgiven... and that he HAD to watch. He couldn't even die to stop watching. He was not allowed to die.
If that's the case, the scarlet king fought to a deadlock not because he was "evenly matched," but because the gate guardian was upholding his punishment... preventing him from entering Eden, without annihilating him because scarlet king was not permitted to stop existing.
That much makes sense. The graphic of the gate guardian shaking his hand makes no sense for their storyline at all. Veto that bit.
If this video is actually canon to the scp universe then it reveals a lot about the lore of the scp foundation. If the tree of life in the garden really is the same tree that created the multiverse, then scp 343 really is not just the god of the universe but the multiverse. We know since in the scp tale The gates opens, the gate guardian referred to scp 343 as lord and Knelt before him. One thing I don’t understand though is how the scarlet managed to enter earth so long ago. Perhaps he was able to while being weaker and his search for endless power lead him to some sort of curse in which he can only enter worlds through peoples knowledge of him. Just a thought 😅

It then says, "SCP-001 is a formerly Keter Class now Safe Class anomaly also known as The Scarlet King./SCP-001 is currently located in several alternate dimensions simultaneously, and is unable to enter into the prime dimension. However, it is believed to have been repeatedly attempting entry. The physical, mental and conceptual properties of SCP 001 are unknown to the Foundation; nevertheless, it continues to assert a strong influence on a number of individuals and events within the prime dimension. Should SCP001 enter the prime timeline, an irreparable alteration to normalcy will occur."
Which is it? Which is the Gate Guardian and which is the Scarlet King? This is coming from someone who knows next to nothing about SCP lore.
There is technically multiple SCP-001's, each with their own plausible reason for how and why they are the real first SCP. The idea is there are multiples to obscure and hide the true original. Much of SCP canon is up to the viewer so it's up to you which one is the real SCP-001
Scp 1 is several entries by design. In lore its to keep the secrecy of the original scp but in reality its a writing mechanic to let you form your own headcanon. For some people "The Black Moon" is the real scp 1 and to others "The Gate Guardian" is the real entry.
They're all viable options

The hard to destroy reptile revealed that is not Eden and that is not an angel. He said that it's a decoy that the real guardian to the west and Uriel there is far more powerful! And the hard to destroy reptile would know for he is the serpent!

@@Mrhade5 Is the serpent. It's pretty close to Canon now not just a what if story. God froze time when he sees him apologizes that he can't lift the curse he did in a fit of anger and regrets it. He ordered him to tempt Eve and thought Eve would resist and got angry for the serpent doing what he was supposed to basically put all his power into him being immortal. On a reason that the serpent is at the foundation is he wants some to kill them him. Poor guy just wants to go home and God forbade him to ever enter the garden and he can't undo it... could be that NEW Garden was actually created for the hard to destroy reptile. But the guardian wouldn't let him in but I think it was created for him to go to at some point. Hopefully he doesn't have to stick around a dead Earth a gazillion years in the future.

Gate guardian probably lied to him. I can see him lieing he’s not required or tell the truth. Or simply angle told his creator so will be the big boss waiting to jump him. Which would be interesting to see
