- SCP 049 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Plague Doctor.
SCP-049 is a humanoid entity, roughly 1.9 meters in height, which bears the appearance of a medieval plague doctor.
SCP049 will become hostile with individuals it sees as being affected by the Pestilence, often having to be restrained should it encounter such. If left unchecked, SCP-049 will generally attempt to kill any such individual.
SCP-914 is a Safe class anomaly also known as The Clockworks.
SCP 914 is a large clockwork device weighing several tons consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork. It is incredibly complex, consisting of over eight million moving parts. When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP914 will “refine” the object in the booth.

I imagine SCP-049's whole story will end in one of two ways: either he finds out there's no such thing as the Pestilence, or it turns out it actually is real and he just laughs and rubs it in their faces.
My concern is not really whether it is real or not, but if it is real, the Pestilence, how would the foundation fight it, if they can't even detect it at all?!! And the Plague Doctor is too nice to rub it fully in their faces.

The minute he completely cured the first person I immediately said "Yeah and when will shit go wrong". Why am I not surprised you sadist a holes couldn't just let him have this one.
Because that's how viruses work in real life. Every time you create a vaccine that cures a disease, a new strain of it (or new disease altogether) appears that makes the cure weaker or completely ineffective. This is because the disease that's having trouble surviving eventually creates a self-defense mechanism via evolution in order to specifically protect itself from that vaccine, basically pulling an SCP-682. If the vaccine prevented people from getting sick through bodily fluids, it would evolve to become airborne for example.
What happened here was, the Plague Doctor created the ultimate vaccine that could destroy EVERY illness all at once, and in doing so, also unintentionally gave birth to the ultimate virus. Because viruses were having trouble spreading though the air, bodily fluids, touch, etc, they decided to evolve themselves to use EVERY form of transmission possible ALL AT ONCE; this caused the disease to spread rapidly throughout the world and kill faster than a cure could be made. To make matters worse, the ultimate vaccine was made with unknown chemicals, probably pulled from a pocket dimension, meaning the Plague Doctor was the only one who could craft a solution. Humanity was doomed the minute he set off to cure the world and not JUST humanity either. In a desperate attempt to survive, the ultimate virus would most likely evolve the ability to adapt to extreme temperatures and live in any living organism (even plants, there are actually viruses that only affect plants believe it or not).
It will die once it runs out of food, but by then the earth will be a desolate wasteland with no oxygen. Whatever's in that egg has no chance whatsoever.

All he cared about was helping/curing others, while SCP-056 was completely self-centered, therefore it makes sense that any power from 914 would go towards the doctor's ability to help people. Had he cared more for himself like 056, maybe he'd get SOMETHING, but he's always tried to put others before himself.

I honestly think this is the best use of 914! Put 049 in, and let him come out a magnificent angel of medicine! A soothing professional! I would not mind seeing him go around curing the pestilence!
Also, if you saw the video where 999 brought him an ice cream treat because 049 couldn't leave his cell, you know he sees 999 in high regard. I would love to see 999 play nurse to this form of 049! It'd be downright adorable! This version of 049 would be able to soothe and heal all the sick, and with 999 as the Patch Adams to his angel of medicine, they'd make a medically viable team of titans!
Also, I can see that if 049 was made to play a video game with a group role, he would no doubt play the healer/support role. Like... He'd play Mercy in Overwatch because she is a doctor in canon. She'd play a Priest or Shaman in World of Warcraft because of their healing powers, maybe a Druid because of the versatility of the animal forms. He'd play the healer and see it as a means to embrace some form of modernity.
Honestly, this super 049 is just saturated in awesome! No longer the terrifying "Touching me will only kill you!", but instead he's "Please, let me examine you so I can heal you of all that ails you." vibe!

Maybe not the normal doctor but this refined doctor might be able to reverse the effect and make them not melt in the the sun again. It might take a while since the blobs will still try to assimilate the cured people but with enough time, people could be cured and go back in the daylight again.

This reminds me: It would be cool to see SCP 049 fight a different zombie infection: Left 4 Dead's Green Flu. Or the survivors fighting through an outbreak of SCP 008. I personally prefer the former, but either is ok. Also, SCP 076 Able vs Jetstream Sam because it would be cool to see Able's reaction to a HF blade, specifically Sam's due to its signature crimson sheen.

And the foundation dismissed the "Pestilience" as non-existent. I was afraid it did exist and it even mutated. Because the Plague Doctor looks legendary, it decided to stop the only one that could stop it. But the good doctor always thinks of others first and foremost, even in his very last moments.
He cured everything and that angered the pestilence to the point that it had to mutate and finally takeout its only threat....
The final moments of the refined Doctor must have been grim.....

No the scp foundation isn’t made of only metal it’s made of different object such as wood stone and annomalys materials
Doom is way too smart for the foundation I'm afraid. Plus his diplomatic immunities will also come handy. Being the ruler of Latveria, the foundation simply won't be able to run any form of activities in Latveria without his permission, nor have the jurisdiction to arrest him when he's in his country. Doom has used this to his advantage multiple times in the comics along with his almost unparalleled brain power and knowledge over the mystic arts. If they had to deal with Doom, the foundation's best hope is to simply avoid any interaction with him and hope that he stays in Latveria. That's the only way to contain this mf.

This is absolutely crazy n insane plz just post about it more, this is the most fun I have ever had watching a video plz just read this AND ALSO MAKE THESE TYPES OF VIDEO.
I swear, if the foundation weren't scared to death of any sort of risk, they could throw any good-natured and safe anomaly into the clockworks and make the world a much better place.
Like, with multiple clockwork anomalies they'd probably be able to cancel each other out, or make anomalies to fix many potential problems (after all, even though the very fine setting is unperdictable, it is still at least somewhat reminiscent of the inital input. You could probably put a toy medicine kit in there, put it on very fine, and get the plaugs doctors infinite bag, or mediccal tools that can teach somone to be a perfect doctor very quickly, or somthing that creates annoymalus senarios where somone needs to be healed (on the bad side.) depending on what you put in there, I could see the risk changing, rather than being completely synnonamus with the machine itself.

I really like the idea that they made the plague doctor and the Clockwork clock become one and heal it's really beautiful that some of these creatures have been locked away for years and years because of their nature can now be reimbursed to something much greater and more useful this is a wonderful episode hope that other Clockwork Anonymous along with and return them into good beings
