When your game has a new game mode and it’s better than PvP
That double Spirit Lash combined with the worst possible RNG on Sylvanas is the most soul crushing moment I have witnessed on your stream.

As an isolated incident I have definitely seen worse cases of bad luck, but the fact that he was almost on a perfect dungeon run made this that much more soul crushing :)

fun at first until you realize it's incredibly RNG based, often you just become a spectator instead of an actual player in your own fucking game since there's nothing you can do to win and you have 0 control over the options that are presented to you.

you're right, hearthstone doesnt usually let you build decks. I forgot they removed that feature.

Well there was the obvious play he realized with the charge webspinner to kill the azure drake, but he also could have played sylvanas and stolen a minion since the boss always hero powers before attacking and it deals 5 damage.
doesn't that dragon always cast double spirit lash when it's near lethal? At least I've ALWAYS seen that happen...

just had the most satisfying end to my perfect dungeon run, i had animated armor and archmage antonidas with permanent stealth against the darkness and he milled all his psychic screams and twisting nethers so i just aha'd every darkspawn he summoned til he fatigued himself to death, also play mirror entity if you have it as a mage, im not sure if the darkness only has spells but he tends to never play minions when you have it active
I 'oneshot' most of the classes but had 70+ boss kills before my first gimme success with Hunter ~ albeit, two of my perfect clears were abusing Tad. I find Hunter to be terribly inconsistent unless you draw stealth and/or a spell damage variant. Just terrible buckets for the most part.
also, I have lost to Vustrasz every time that elixir of life gets played early ~ and crushed the boss every time that the card wasn't played.
Damn, he got Vustrasz without double health or healing? He was hosed to begin with. That dragon can easily deal well over a hundred face damage over the course of the match.
I got Vustrasz with Hunter on my first run and I crushed him. Two times Kathrena on the board, had to trade one but got the 7/7 charge battlecry cant attack heroes. Got two King Crush from the treasure (I only opened one box btw.) and used the treasure that adapts a minion once for every boss you beat this run on King Crush. I attacked with the small ones first so he didn't get to play his two spirit lashes, I didn't even know he had them. lol

If you can, draft a marin, it completely counters the dragon by giving him another chest, there's even a funny interaction with it.

I just had a run where the 8th boss was the sorceress chick (forgot her name) used Deathwing two turns in a row to clear the board and I was playing jade golems as a rogue. I ended up winning but it was intense when she put out a 8/8 minion with lifesteal.
What do you think is the easiest class? I've been consistently getting good runs with druid compared to other classes. Starting package is good and the stuff offered is usually good as well.

to all the others out there, if you get crappy cards/loot, do you guys just restart the run? have been trying with all the classes but the only win i got was due to rogue with double deathrattle double battlecry and 6 aya blackpaws

I had a great rogue run once, then came up to Togwaggle. On his second turn he dropped boots, golden kobolt. Thien he dropped Gruul, Tirion, sylvanas and rag. It made me very sad.
I got a cardback but never saw Vustrasz as the last boss.

I haven't touched Shaman after i lost with my Bloodhoof tribal deck. Managed to get the double deathrattle totem, magic mirror and about...10 Cairne Bloodhoofs, with 2 Kel's. Lost to the darkness because 5/5's beat 4/5's.
I know that feeling, lost with a Kel too, had those 6/5 dragons as priest, dragon recruiter, death wing, etc. . But still lost. x.x
Dear Kripp,
please do a mage video. I got all other eight classes on first or second attempt, but I can't even tell how many times I tried it with mage and failed.
Does anyone know which archetype I should follow? Am I the only one experiencing so many terrible drafts?

Bartleby1892 At the end of my mage run I had the permanent minion stealth treasure, an ice block on my hero, and 5 more ice blocks in hand before I defeated The Darkness. So just do like me and win by complete bullshit.
Defense is the most balanced. Bit you alwaus need a little big spells and the right treasures.... if all that fails elemental can work....
I completed it with hero power mage believe it or not lol even got the hero power upgrade passive with it
Mage is by far the easiest. Almost any treasure/deck can work. Just keep in mind synergies; exodia was my first try.
I beet Xol with controll mage. Damage Boardclears with +3 spell damage treasure=easy. Also some direct damage and Wish.
don't you want all the buffs on one chest so when you kill it the others are not buffed and you don't have to kill them and take damage each turn
Yeah, got to the last boss once and lost (The Darkness). Now I don't get good cards to progress further. xD

Valanyr plus Double Deathrattle equals INFINITE VALUE. After the first valanyr you are getting 4 Valanyrs it’s pretty OP OP

This fucking dragon got both wondrous wand and goddamn Sunkeeper tarim from my deck with the 5/6 dragon. Had some rad dude synergy going till that point too as well 2 ragnoros light Lords
Druid is "fairly easy" for Kripp? Literally the most frustrating class I've attempted, by far.
Why was hunter the last? I find it the worst of all classes and i also 1 shotted many of them first try but hunter took at least 12 tries.

I got the perfect run on mage first attemt with a quest mage, had full health of 100 and 11 armor by end of the darkness, whish i recorded that, it was awesome
my mage run last night ended the same way.

They need to give some better rewards than just xp, like 10 gold for every win past 4 or something. So sad you're doing the dungeon for no reason at all past the cardback *--* Also, every class is easy if you go with minions larger than 5 cost 5 and giant minions tbh ... Warrior is the best one for that in fact bcuz of all the recruiting action on those.
Yeah, this expansion's adventure is really reward-lacking.
I guess that's the price of a decent mode.
My best run was as Druid. I got jades every time, and two +1/+1 flags. easiest game of my life

Hunter is the only class I’ve managed to beat the dungeon runs with
need a guide for paladin and warlock,,,i tryed to many times on these 2, and only got these to left,
Get the +1+1 passive on paladin with many medium cost creeps and a lot of sunkeeper tarim. It was by far the easiest run for me. and also try to pick wish
Paladin theres 2 ways to go to make it easy, either go full dude creation with hero powers and just zoo them down with 1 mana dudes or go full weapon, try to get as many valynar's as humanly possible and just out value them with them. Warlock's best type is big demon but i found it fairly inconsistent. If you don't get minion buff, 5+ minions for 5 or discounted hero power it was basically rip run in my experience.
For paladin, i got four level ups, beardo, and justicar’s ring
BMW4979 i did it with control, big taunts + divine shield and the poisonous weapon and the passive where everything above 5 just costs 5. It's slow but steady.

the only reason i killed the last boss on my warrior run was because i got a tolens goblet wish so i had 8 wishes xd

you dont have to kill any chest , no matter how much he buff it , just ignore it , believe me it wont kill u , kill only the minions he drops from his hand and then go face , ez dragon
He killed it because the buff was lifesteal. So any future buff would just heal the dragon more and eventually he can't out damage the lifesteal attack each round.
So far this expansion, I've had two 12-win arenas, both with priest. Turns out priest is preettty good.

i played this boss and i got sylvanas from the chest legendary duplicate shenanigan. THE DAMN HERO POWER DEALT 2 DAMAGE AFTER STEALING THE CHESTS. They weren't even dead but i guess it says missing chest not dead. I raged preety hard though throwing the damn mouse on the wall

No, that's incorrect. Vulstrasz plays a Power Word: Tentacles the turn after Kripp killed the lifesteal chest. That buff would have gone to the lifesteal chest, effectively neutering the damage deal by the dogs to two a turn. Also consider that without Zarog's Crown, Kripp's turn six is significantly worse. The Don Han'Chos did a significant amount of work. Perhaps there is a different play Kripp could have made later in the match. But killing the lifesteal chest was definitely the right play.

and also take into consider that if the lifesteal chest get buff there would be no way for him to remove it lead to it getting more buff and more lifesteal and at that point he might as well concede...
I have played against this boss countless times and it is by far the easiest of the 8th bosses. Going face is correct in my opinion since hunter can out-race the opponent. Yes power-word tentacles would have been bad but in my experience this boss buffs targets evenly and usually doesn't all in buff one minion. The 2 attack lifesteal is irrelevant in the long-run. Especially since kripp's minions have perma stealth, the chance for targeted board clear is lower. After gaining control of the board, all kripp has to then do is clear any summoned minions and he'd be able to outrace him. Clearing that minion meant free 1 damage AOE every turn and it hits face as well, which is a huge in terms of the race. I have beaten the dungeon run with 6 classes now and 4 of those I had this dude as the final boss, it was soo easy compared to Xol and Azari
