Sassy Somers he should just stick to arena, and netdecking for constructed. He may be a lot of things, a deckbuilder isn't one of them. I suck at deckbuilding, too, but at least I don't blame the deck or specific cards, I blame myself for it.
Switching out Doomsayer, Ice Block, Arcanologist, and Prince Valanar for some Tar Creepers, Water Elementals, 2nd Meteor, a Polymorph, a Mistress, a weapon removal and a Spellbreaker is way better for me. I've had much more success with that deck. You also don't need two Acolytes. Early game is survivable as long as you don't get Alanna stuck in your hand and NO early game. A single 4-mana spell (Polymorph) is totally fine because the chances of Raven Familiar hitting on that AND losing is relatively low. You need it for Spikeridged Speed, Void Lord, and Tirion so not having Polymorph and/or silence is pretty bad. Dragon's Fury dealing 4 to all is already REALLY GREAT for 5 mana, and most of the time it hits for much higher than that. I also don't bring two Blizzard because 6 mana for 2 damage is relatively small. Most of the time when you're at 6 mana and looking for a board clear, you're looking for higher than 2 damage. Toss in a Thalnos for draw/SD+.
it's not that the deck is bad it's that dragoncaller alanna is not a good finisher. and it definitely needs fireballs and polymoprhs. 4 is still a very good Dragon's Fury result.
This is exactly what I've been saying. 5 mana, deal 4 to all minions is a great board clear. You don't HAVE to play all big spells. Similarly, the all spells hunter deck will go away since Rhok'delar and To My Side are underwhelming. The best decks will be a blend of the new cards and old. A flat out Big Spells mage or no minions hunter, won't be as good as a blended more well rounded deck.
Not to mention he adamently refused to use Deck of wonders until the end. The point is that it adds a bunch of 5 cost spells to your deck for Dragon's fury, raven's familiar, and Alanna. Yeah, she's not a good finisher due to board clears and the like, but she's definitely a good power play.
Every time my opponent has played Deck Of Wonders, one of the Scroll Of Wonders cards ended up butt fucking them, nothing worse than Scroll Of Wonders using up all your mana crystals or discarding your entire hand before you can play a card...
The very first time I played against the 5 mana spell that puts 5 spells that cast random spells in your deck, he played out medivh and he drew the first random spell right after and it was blade furry.
This deck is so fun XD Like you aren't gonna win quite some time because... you are playing REALLY big spells, and you have quite the random element in it. It is like playing yogg, some times it works really well, other times not so good, and some throw you the game. The fun part is that you never know what yogg will do, he may cast a treachery on himself, and then give your opponent a full board. He can also draw you your wincon, clear the board, and get you the cards you need to win. Or just pyroblast heroes faces. Or better, first spell pyroblast himself. All and all there is so many weird out comes. The randomness makes the card fun to mess around with. Of course it is not gonna be that good, Deck of wonders literally says: I am yogg effect. And it can continue to generate even more scroll of wonders, because scroll can cast deck of wonders. essentially making this card old yogg if you have enough RNG to go with it. It is so fun just to see myself getting shrecked because well... scroll casts cataclysm, very sad, or astral communion. But it also fun seeing opponents getting completely wrecked by a scroll that did something that they didn't play around.
I would play this as a straight burn deck. Use elementals to create new spells via spellstone. Jaina for a bit of sustain, but dump alanna, valanar, familiar and maybe tyrants for more burst and a pyro.
"Small Results" Well I'd blame that on: Forcing the Arcanologist + Ice Block package, playing cards that just don't DO anything like Arcane Tyrant, being greedy as heck with Medivh, Acolytes of Pain in an already-slow deck, Arcane Artificers which again don't DO anything, and Doomsayers which you just pray go off because they have basically no support and your deck ALREADY runs Dragon's Fury as a very key component. I mean maybe if you dropped cards that are just utterly terrible vs aggro, you'd have better results vs aggro. But if you're going to be greedy, then it's good the greed gets punished. And what about all the Void Lords all over? Nah, why run any Spellbreakers or Polys. When your entire early game is "Man I sure do pray I draw and successfully activate this Doomsayer". The cheap spell generators are great, glad they're there, maybe they make something happen and that's most of what you can ask for. i've had a pretty great success with big mage... although i left deck of wonders out XD i have about a 70% winrate so far, although i've only played about 30 games. if you can get to turn 6-7 you usually destroy anything remotely aggro or tempo....if

Why didn't kripp play acolite when he knew the opponent almost had azari? They just needed to play the fifth seal and then azari (2 turns, he could have hit acolite with his hero power twice to get 2 less cards destroyed by azari, it could have helped him, and then use it again to get a water elemental, he had the mana)

Like, it's the worst class by far right now, they got that 'freeze support' that is total crap and on this new expansion blizzard have nerfed evolve by lauching high mana cards with poor base attack and health. If deck of wonders had pulled flamestrike In most cases it would be good. But that card suck I've played it at beginning of games and it don't even do any thing, and most of time what it does is useless. The 5 mana gain 3 random spells is way better because you can choose when to cast.
I don’t get the deck of wonders add to be honest... This feels a lot like the Kingsbane video. I don’t doubt both decks are likely weaker than the typical meta deck, but it doesn’t help that he puts in some odd choices.
Sucks that so many spell archetypes are being created, and all the good anti-spell troggs are all cycled out of the game. >.< I miss my Earthinator, and all of his minions.

sometimes Kripp is so offbase about ladder to the point where I don't even want to hear his opinions on it. Comments recently about "aggro/zoo plaguing ladder" just aren't true as neither KFT nor the new expansion have had a single dominant aggro deck besides maybe aggro Druid in KFT which wasn't played very much. Zoolock was T1/T2 in KFT but never dominated and was always kept in check by the other T1 decks at the time.

Emir Klopic Exactly. I don't play ice block in this deck actually. I play stuff like lone champion, tar creeper, and saronite chain gang. Performs so much better and more consistently.

I played this deck with Baron Geddon, Pyros, and Polymorphs and I went from rank 13 to 8.
