SUPER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT, IN THIS VIDEO I ACCIDENTLY SAID "0.100" WHEN I MEANT "0.01", START AT "0.01" THEN WORK YOUR WAY UP. PLEASE DO NOT RUN "0.100"!!
At what time do u say .1
I want to make sure I don't run it then
Bro….
After running 3 tests I just saw this.
Hi, by that do you mean this part about the voltage offet at 4:00? Because i've set mine to 0.1 rather than 0.01 and working up
You are a savior. Finally fixed all my crazy crashing issue. Bless your soul for creating this awesome guide.
I think this actually worked.. Thank you. Been trying for about 8 months to fix this issue.
Loved it, you jus not only fixed the problem but also explained why it was happening in the first place, and that's great, thank you❤
It's completely bonkers how long these issues have been occuring without a real official fix being pushed out. Everyone dealing with this paid top dollar for the best hardware out there and what they got was the inability to play a LARGE amount of games without having to scour the internet themselves searching for solutions from unofficial sources. What a joke. Where's the class action lawsuit?
EDIT: Instead of immediately crashing without any sort of error message, I started getting "out of video memory blah blah blah blah" and then I upped the numbers on CPU core voltage little by little. Soon I began to be able to play the games as long as I didn't press "OK" on the error message telling me I was "out of video memory" ... but that wasn't completely satisfying me. I continued to up the number little by little until I got to 0.025 in the core voltage and I no longer get ANY error message and am able to play any game thus far without any sort of error message. THIS WORKS.
yo bro thank you 0.025 works for me too i love you bro
Intel states: "we have determined that elevated operating voltage is causing instability issues" .. And your telling people to increase the voltage even more and set a fixed frequency?
Maybe it wasn't clear in the video. 1. IF your cpu is already degraded because BIOS auto settings shoved suicide voltages to your chip so 1-2 cores could boost to ~6ghz , your cpu will need higher voltages to operate normally (stable) . If your cpu isn't degraded just fix your frequencies and check what's the least amount of voltage you need to keep those clock speeds. Frame chasers dude made a decent video explaining the issue and how to fix it.
The elevated operating voltage is when you try to let the CPU boost to 6+ GHZ, what we're doing is LOWERING the frequency to an amount that the CPU uses BARELY any voltage for, then adding little bit more voltage to that already low voltage to accommodate for degradation and instability at that frequency.
WHY DOES NO ONE TALK ABOUT THE FUCKING INTEL I9 14900f ISTG
Dude I just finished, I’m praying this works!
This fixed my issues. I had already been using a program to modify my fan speeds and eXtreme Tuning Utility to tweak some settings. Those two programs had fixed the majority of my issues but I recently downloaded Mortal Online 2 and it was crashing immediately on launch without exception. I was extremely frustrated to have paid top dollar for a PC that couldn't get any more powerful and it didn't work for half the games in my library. Found your video and I followed the steps and so far it seems to have completely fixed my issues, and I'm no longer running the eXtreme Tuning Utility anymore either.
Thanks a ton. Liked and subscribed. *salute*
bro out here selling "A full system overclocking service" for 150 dollars, dawg to me that sounds like you are scamming kids.
Takes 2 hours to stress test RAM + an hour for each CPU and GPU overclock, I don't play around nor am I scamming anyone, we do more than these pathetic other guys and its guaranteed performance uplift.
Man i had this issue for months, now its fixed thanks a lot
Only fix that actually worked, thank you so much bro I’ve been looking for the fix all day
This worked for me Xilly, you're a life saver! I've been having many apps crash as well as weird visual errors in some games and after changing out my video card with no improvement, I narrowed my issues down to the CPU. The errors were nonexistent when I had the intel diagnostic tool running but as soon as I would stop the tool, app crashes would come back. I changed the settings you recommended with an increase to my wattage by 0.01 and so far I'm not having any app crashes. Thanks again
Thanks a lot man, because I went through many tutorials about changing bios settings and nothing was working. With those change you’ve mentioned, I have been able to open my project (unreal engine) without any crash. Before I was opening 20 times and was always crashing during launch. Let’s see how long it work…
I will buy AMD for sure in my next setup, I’m really disappointed about my i9 13900KF.
With fixed mode I can’t pass r23. But with dynamic yes but cpu go down until 4.9ghz :-S
Worked perfectly just had to sync all the cores like in the video and forknite seems to not be crashing anymore thankyou good sir
The new microcode update that Asus released just a couple days ago didn't fix the stability issue with the random BSODs on my PC. Using these recommended settings is the only thing keeping my PC stable.
I changed my 14700k to 5.5 and then ran the xtu benchmark just to compare to what it was before and my score dropped incredibly. My my cinebench benchmark took almost 7 minutes to finish and got a score of 1235 which is drastically lower than what it should be. Any thoughts or advice on what I can do. I’m about to join your discord now
5.7 or 57???
I don't get crashes at R23 but at R15, do u have any idea of why? Should I do this then?
so should i run intel default setting with these?
What do you do if you have a laptop version of the i9 cpu? I have the i9-13900HX CPU and it keeps crashing repeatedly(specifically with fortnite), do you have the numbers to fix my laptop CPU?
so only UE 5 games are crashing on my i9 1300k. Cinebech tests were alle ok no problems. I corrected P cores to 54. Am I good to go or do I need to follow the rest of the video? at 3:45 text in your video says if cinebench doesnt crash change in P cores is enough and I dont have to change voltage? Basically thats the end of the first fix? Sorry if these questions seem naive, lately theres so much talk about Intel issues I don't really know what's going on anymore.
I also started experiencing UE5 crashes on my 13900k, likely due to undervolting. I typically use -0.050, but I changed it to -0.080 last month. Everything ran great with better scores in 3DMarks and CB23 but UE5 games crashed during shader compilation. I reverted to -0.050, and the crashes stopped. However, UE5 games on Intel CPUs are frustrating because compiling textures sometimes causes CPU usage to spike leading to thermal throttling in every new area that loads like in the new Indiana Jones games.
yo bro it worked i put 0.025 voltage and it worked bro thank you so much
I think at 4:26 you mean minus as in to undervolt not overvolt.
Thank you bro 💯
i can finnaly play without crashing, thanks man it really helped, i'm on i5 13600KF but it seems degradation was minor and i didn't have to do bump the power up to avoid crashing
My games kept crashing on a I 713700F I did this fix and it worked. I put it at 5.1 for the gigahertz setting and .01 for the boost everything’s working perfect so far will keep updated. Thank you.
.01 was not enough going to .02
fix failed sent cpu for rma warranty bumped up to 3 years
I have an asus MOBO and when I try to change the performance core ratio it will not let me
This did not fix it for me, but updating my BIOS did. Now I can run even R23 without issue, while before even R15 was crashing like 2 seconds into the test.
Switching to AMD next time I build pc had way too many issues with the i9-13900kf
YOUR A W THIS FIXED MY FORTNITE CRASH THANK YOUUUUUUU
Doesent let me inter the bio i have tried spammin the delete holding delete and pressing it once doesn’t work
I tested out R15 multi core 3 times, then R23 single core 3 times, then R23 multi core 3 times and while slow, I experienced no crashing. Then I launched the bios settings, only to realized I can't tweak my computer's performance, because the bios menu only has standard options. To be fair, it is a Mini PC, and I don't want to have to overclock it in fear of breaking it, so I'm wondering if there is another way to address crashing in software and the like for Intel PCs that don't have beefy specs?
my i7 9700k spikes too 100 when like doing anything whats the issue??
change of thermal paste, and maybe a new cooler
@@SoloWingGutman it’s water cooled idk how to change the water tho😂and I just got some new thermal paste ima put on it
@@rikcu you can't change the water in closed loop, but if it's not older than 5 years old then it's definitely fine, most propably last like 10 years so yoy should be fine i guess
It worked! It actually fu****' worked !! Thank you!! I was becoming crazy!! You saved my pc AND my mental health 😭
I fucked up all of my drivers before knowing this video tho... guess I'm not done yet ^^'
Is this a reason of having so many crashes on games?
yes
@official_modba after i updated it all crashes are gone, now i can play any game i want without crashing .
@@didier21years Can you explain, what you mean by "updated it"? I have i9 14900k and all new games are crashing, even tho I made some changes what other people helped. But nothing have worked so far. I'm thinking about changing from Intel to AMD :/
@@official_modba update the bios man, in octuber intel realesed an update for 13th and 14th gen. To fix crashes.
@@didier21years Oh okey, thanks for answer. WIll try. I havent updated that for couple months 👍
I’ve done so many of these bio setting nothing effin works for me. Running a i91300k 4090 ASUS rog z790. Nothing fixed this crap. 6k pc down the damn drain
Please, for the love of God, tell me you found a fix. Nothing is fucking working
Omg bro tysm my cpu failed at the r15 in like the first seconds and after i did what u said i had no issues at all even at r23 ur so good bro
Didn't work for me as it BOSD on the games I'm having problems with. Like for some reason when I try play League of Legends loading it just causing all my applications to close and league main menu going off and on before BOSD, same with Monster hunter with loading up the game.
i have a intel i5 13600k should i do this or is this only for i9 13th and 14th gen????????????? @Xilly
Is it only on i9s because i have an i5 14400f and i never had and issues
i9 14k 14th gen 4070 what’s the best latency driver for fortnite ?
latest
Xilly, please at 4:37 on a gigabyte motherboard there is no offset option on the Vcore Voltage mode. The other options in this setting are auto, adaptive vcore, override vcore and fixed vcore. Can you help?
Thats so crazy! You are amazing! I did get cinebench to do multiple pass on multi core and single. However multi core does show 90+ deg at some points. Im sure the throttle kicks and slows it down right?
Spoke too soon. Bsod triggered as I was opening steam on a fresh install of windows. Ffs
So update. I monitored the spikes in wattage CPU and GPU using HWiNFO and then I went into bios and turned off ALL THE Intel boosting stuff, speed step, the Intel boosting thing etc they are usually grouped together. Then I also had voltage 0.1v offset positive aka 100mV.
Guess what! Everything works smooth! Not a single crash, I can run in 4k and 8k games without a single crash on Nvidia with locked 120fps. Temps at 8k reached max 49deg CPU and 66deg GPU. 95fps. Also looking at the graphs on the same Superposition benchmark I can see CPU is limited to 2.5 to 3 GHz no massive spikes anywhere. Now you could tinker and get the GHz up should you want more but this is perfect even if CPU is slightly slower than usual as I get to play every game I own on my 4090 with 2/3 of the capability of the CPU with LOW TEMPS AND LOW VOLATGE AND LOW WATTS. TURN OFF YOUR INTEL SHEET AND TRY ONE BY ONE.
@@DhavalPateldpbro can you share bios settings
my picture renders so slowly, i still got a score though but like my bios is the white and blue one, nothing much in advanced
Thanks, I finally got it, always the same crashes..., thx for helping me
Hi Xilly, thanks for the video. Question when you run Cinebench do your P-core ratio's go down from what you set them in Bios? On my 14900k they go down from like 56Mhz to 50Mhz. i can't seen to find out why this is happening.
what do i set the p core ratio to I have an i7 -14700KF ?
5.5 GHz
@@iceresilientare u sure thats the right amount to put it on ?
@@Kudox. Yes, just look up the Performance-core Max Turbo Frequency of your CPU and input that value into the P-core. What I’ve shown you is what Intel says it is.
Everyone recommends to put cpu cooler tuning on intel default because of cpu frying, meanwhile you have set it on unlimited. Great way to fast kill pc
Thank u so muucchhhhhhhhh❤❤❤❤
I have an MSI board with an 14900kf and I don’t have the “CPU ratio mode” option. Also I can’t change my P core ratio from “Auto”.
yea same….
Do these problems appear in the twelfth generation?
Not really
and for 17 11700kf ?
When u do the pc tweak do u do the bios as well I’m asking because I want to get my pc tweak
he cant do ur bios for u as he wont be able to see your screen but he can walk u through what to turn on and off :)
Yea
What's the Pcore ratio for 13700KF ?
5.30 GHz
How can I do this on a asrock nova
I have i7 13700k what settings i must do??
Did you find out, I have this same CPU my issues started a few weeks ago
So does having i7 13700k have to do this
Both 13 and 14th gen have the same issues.
Im on a gigabyte mbo and my vcore voltage mode: auto, adaptive vcore, override vcore & fixed vcore. Which do i set?
I’d like to know that too.
Did you find a solution?@westfield90
Did anyone answer this
adaptive > negative offset (-) > 0.05
can you make a video fixing fps drops?
I just purchased a new PC a month ago and it has an i514400F. I don’t play games or overclock. So I’m wondering if I’m ok? I just haven’t been able find out if this cpu is prone to this issue? I really don’t want to run any of the stress tests since that may permanently start the damage.
All 13 and 14 gen Intel CPUs with a TDP higher than 65W has "the curse". Your best option right now is to update your BIOS and chipset drivers (if you update all the drivers, even better but always from official sources) and check for updates regularly.
Edit: Also do yourself a favor and don't follow random youtuber tips. Always follow the official guidelines. Don't mess with BIOS settings if you don't know what you're doing.
@@John.Doe.X1thank you. so I tell you what’s concerning. With the latest gigabyte F11C bios update which is supposed to implement the intel specs my p1 and pl2 show as 125w and 255w. On intels website for my processor i514400F it is supposed to be 65w and 148w. So even now the gigabyte motherboard is getting it wrong. Such an incompetent mess this is turning out to be
So far the fix is working like butter sir, I appreciate it. As of now I have the latest bios for ASUS's ROG STRIX Z790-F motherboard and the latest drivers for my Zotac Extreme Amp 4080 super. My i9-13900k CPU wasn't experiencing BSOD's or game crashes, the screen would just glitch out and go black. I like seeing all the cores in action again, I had no idea how to manipulate his, THANK YOU!
Turns out that the power adapter that came with my Zotac GPU, one of it's three cables leaked glue onto my 6+2 pin connector attached to the PSU, causing the connector to corrode! That was the actual culprit, replacing said 6+2 connector/cable resolved the issue. Factory adapters that come with 40 series GPU's are trash, thanks for your help though.
Your actually a goat for this, it helhed so much. Im shit w pc's but you made it so simple that I could still follow. Thanks much appreciated
What about the 10 series i have a i3 10100f
which pcore ratio for 13700kf
53
Can i do this w 13700k??
Yes
@@Xilly u will be held accountable for misleading information if it doesn’t work
This fixed my issues and I have a 13600k

Does this method is really safe mate ? Cuse after this guid my CP-U tempreature increased to 100 degrees. CPU temperatures are also important
i love u so fucking much bro all the explanation is clear and it work
DUDE YOU SAVED MY LIFE MAN, 1 YEAR OF SUFFERING AND I FIXED IT BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MAN❤❤❤❤
mines fixed FINALLY. but my cpu gets hot as fuck now. any recommendations ?
you are a life saver brother, thanks a lot
do a siege optimization video please
Maybe..
If you are having to INCREASE your voltage, your CPU is degraded….
yes he said this
13900k 55 not 5.4
wrong check intel ark or the data sheet, mother vendors are have setting the both the 13900k and 14900k 100mhz faster then the base spec
i have an i9 9900k what do i put my core ratio at
this vid is for 13th and 14th gen
PL it lower your ram oc and get a good cooler problem solved
my GOAT
So this is how the intel fanboys are keeping themselves busy while the biggest intel scandal yet is going on.
Upping the voltage will degrade the CPU even faster. This will end up in a bricked CPU in record time. Good luck kids; But ask your parents to buy AMD Ryzen next time.
boy AMD aint any better, the ryzen 9000 kinda sucks and AMD lied about the performance against Intel 13th gen, plus the ryzen 9000 also have terrible out of the box settings in bios and many issues with ddr5 ram, also before AMD released the 7800X3D, Intel was winning in gaming and applications. You say next time buy AMD but AMD latest ryzen CPU already exposed as mediocre and already have a new vulnerability.
enjoy your AMDips bro
Talk about antimicro
Xilly do you have a free os ?
I have a 14900ks updated bios to current and set my pl1 and pl2 to 320 and max draw to 400
Did an all P core 59. And all E core 45 with a negative undervolt and get over 4100 in cinebench r23 of course i have a super cool direct die keeping the temp tame
you should set a static voltage, static clock speed then no problem ever after, especially since you're on DD, no need for the updated BIOS, new microcode sucks
did not work lol
hi, my cpu from 2013 i5 3570k i think that video not for me bye
i have a question i bought my laptop last month it came with windows 11 processor- ryzen 5 5500h (4-cores) not 6 , so should i downgrade to windows 10 for better fps ??? pls replyyy❤
I love you
hi xilly my bro
I have an intel i9-14900KS and I don't have any problem to be honest it's a motherboard problem. For 13th or 14th i7 or i9 processors to run smoothly you need motherboards no older than Z790 and a good water cooling system and everything will work better than with AMD I tested it myself. i9 processors have amazingly fast rendering acceleration for video editing and game rendering.
Your motherboard is too old I see your motherboard is Z690 intel recommends Z790 or newer so you have a problem with the processor because your motherboard is just too old. Also you need update BIOS drivers...
This is wrong, Z690 and Z790 have perks and advantages but they both are fine. Intel CPUS have a problem where the first 2 cores get way too much voltage in order to "achieve" the 6 ghz boost clock, which is pointless for gamers and most people who don't care about single threaded workloads. BIOS updates don't always help...
now its true you should have liquid cooling but still if your CPU is fine now, it might degrade later if you keep the default boosting algorithm.
@@Xilly Intel has officially acknowledged its bug with CPU, so Intel will fix all the bugs for the 13th and 14th generation CPUs by August
Apsolute bullshit
First
Tbh I didn’t overclock it and kept my 13900k at 55 and games run good but thanks was going crazy with random stutters on certain games and wasn’t my temps or my drivers even reinstalled windows thank you 100% recommend if your having weird issues sad Intel doesn’t care about there customers also kept my core voltage in auto so idk
Thank you so much, man
I love you
