Whatever Daboll and Schoen saw in DJ to offer him that contract is gone. When you see how quickly other teams move on from QBs that had high draft capital, (Fields, Z Wilson, Pickett, Lance, Mac) yet we are here in year 6 with DJ. Laughing stock of a franchise!
Lemme just say in his defense The Giants offensive line gave up EIGHTY-FIVE, 85 SACKS LAST YEAR. When Carl Banks told him "BE FUCKIN' FEARLESS". He was thinking of how sack riddled qbs of the past and how gunshy they get in subsequent seasons. It really does look like he's shot-out. I think DeVito can succeed. His teammates play hard for him.
His timing is way off & his drop-backs seem too deep - but their play designs seem odd, especially their routes? When watching KC’s offense you notice that most of their routes constantly use a crossing pattern, which is hardest route to cover
That free brusher that free? Rusher is on the quarterback. He has to see that and slide the protection. It was slid the other direction that's all on daniel.
They feel like the bulls of the NFL, winning meaningless games and screwing their draft pick cause they’re not bad enough. If you don’t have a generational talent, just tank or you’re quite literally playing for nothing
the giants are not going to the playoffs. We're not winning enough to games to get playoffs with lock or devito. It's actually counterproductive to bench him too soon.
If the Giants were in the browns situation, I would pull the trigger, but my giants are missing a lot. Can't stop the run without Dexter, DBs aren't good, password rush was inefficient early.
@@MoreNYGPlease I’d be fine with benching him to insure that he doesn’t get hurt and we won’t have to pay his 25 mil in injury guarantee next season when he’s cut.
Nope, nobody's gonna get fired. Maybe a couple coordinators, but look man, apparently you're not into the New York thing. Look, we knew this was going to happen. I've been a giants fan for 40 year, 44 years. We all knew that was that this was going to happen most of us. Because Daniel Jones is a terrible quarterback. There's no arguing that he's a terrible quarterback. So what's going to happen when you have a terrible quarterback, running your team? So we expected this now we expect our coach and our gm to go get us a quarterback, that's it.
DJ has a definite issue recognizing coverages. DBs know where he's going because he stares down receivers. I don't know that you can use the paint by numbers approach to reading defenses (primary, secondary, then check down). He also needs to do a better job of pre-snap recognition. The first couple of years were understandable, but he really doesn't seem to be improving. Maybe he needs to sit in the booth for a game or two. I still think he's salvageable but the fact that they're paying him all that money just exasperates things.
The Giants want Arch but he's not ready until 2027 and not eligible until 2026. The way they structured Jones's contract it aligns with Arch's draft year. Jones is linked with Eli Manning and I don't think started during their playing days. He went his camp and Eli's college coach was the coach at Duke. (Strong chance he was a manning reference)
bro first 48 seconds and that first read to wandale is covered, bro Alex, ur joking right, bro in the nfl, shi even in college, u give the flats and rally to the ball, any star/fast cb is jumping and picking that, stephon is in the tail end of his career so hes not breaking on it that fast, but bro gilmore is already in break at 0:43 seeing the play, his at the very least tackling him as soon as he catches it, no qb is getting the ball there that fast bro, gilmore has the play already read, this how i know youve never played football, let alone qb, look 0:43 gilmore, eyes in the backfield + at the same time, DJ has jus reached the top of his hitch, and gilmore is seeing all this, it literally goes, dropback, gilmore's eyes meet DJ at the top of his dropback and breaks on wandale, if that ball is thrown its a tfl, do u even have All22?? that shit was not the throw. Bro the back corner fade????? Alex, u have definitely never played Football pal, the safety is buzzing, hes sitting, yk where his eyes are, in the backfield, he feels wandale in the corner of his eye sit wit his defender and its cover 2 man, the corner fade CB is literally stride for stride, idk wat down it was but DJ is a, 'live to see the next down' qb, he is not forcing that unless its 1st down and it simply is jus not there + thats the only option he has there, everyone saying 'he's holding the ball' 'he's running into sacks' look at the route concept, its 2 hitches on the bottom of the field and the fade, bro, bro no one is open, Kafka is a shit OC, he road on Andy Ried's Scheme and finessed his way to NY, and jus bc he has a ring im assuming, Schoen and Daboll have kept him, but yk hes not good when ur HEAD COACH, ik he was an OC in Buffalo, but ur HC has to playcall and not ur OC, even Sean McVay lets his OC, plan out drives and playcall with him pitching in\ QBs pull that down and throw to Malik? Bro he turned his head, Malik went for a block and wandale is doing the same thing, they knows its man coverage and they know, NO ONE BEAT THEIR MAN this is dumb, 'in my mind' this 'in my mind' that, bro wat r u on about u can see clear as day wats happening the 12 yard line qb run, i agree, is that the best option, but i mean he did have those rollout TDs vs the COLTs in 22' but its obv O line missed their assingment/miscommunication in the blocking 2:58 bro the TE is fully covered, ur another wannabe analyst who has no idea wat he's saying Im not a DJ stan or Giants stan, i jus hate the narrative ppl have on him, every sack he took, everyone was locked, everyone, u want him to throw vs NFL CBs who will pick it off, like yall jus pick and choose when to dicksuck and its annoying, his offensive scheme is ass and it shows on gameday since last year, hes not great but u give him a good scheme, he can manage, slow start, but man yall jus hate on this young man
agreee wit the 7 vs 4 and them letting a man thru then the he doesnt take his eyes off his read and the linebacker reading it (around 5:05) 3 of his options are on the same side of the field, hes looking at all of em in progression, mainly the defenders and he literally gets the ball in the vicinity of his receiver, ik its low, but he wants him to possesion catch it, hes been doing this since 22' QBs do this, they place the ball either high, low, on the numbers, he jus wanted him to sit and catch, hes done this to wandale, shepard, slayton, he does that, constantly, he jus needs the first down, not no RAC and risk a fumble, again, he didnt help his situation, but if u know ball, a lot did not work for this offense and it shows on film, it wasnt all DJ
@@ThePrayinmantizI mean technically he has been successful in the nfl so that’s not true. Having a winning record and winning a playoff game is being successful, I don’t love dj at all but don’t act like he’s never had success in the nfl

As an Eagles fan, I have to say I’m developing a soft spot for the Littles. You all wreck yourself far more brutally than we ever could.
Should have paid BARKLEY!!!!
Good breakdown. I can't stand this guy and have wanted him gone since 2020, it's been rough. There seems to be no solution at QB in sight either
There's another manning in college right now that just put up huge numbers...
Everything you said I agree with on 100% and saw the same exact things. These are so frustrating for a 6 yr starting QB who got paid $160 million
No it’s actually not worse than I think. I was at the game, he really couldn’t have performed much worse.
Bro he sucks point blank period. Idk what they see on film that keeps allowing him to be a starting QB

I’ve heard more than a few times next year qb class is weak. I think there’s some real talent. Jones is a broken man. So reluctant
My opinion... bench Jones and see what qb whisperer Daball can do with Lock.
please tell me your doing a video on AR and the colts

Thank you my friend!
And drew lock is not bad qb play?
It’s only week one
Everyone is making a big deal out of it after week 4 then we’ll see was up with the giants
You clearly did not watch the game. Yes, it's week one, but yes, it's enough to be extremely concerned. Wait until they play an actual good team too.

10:01 lol every said it's a good includin Chase Daniels former QB. He's so inconsistent man.
In my opinion I love Brian daboll but he should start Tommy DeVito I’m tired of Danny dimes
And that’s why you on the couch and he on the field

I agree but his name is Tommy DeVito lol. May as well see how well Tommy can do for us. It was exciting watching the team last year during his starts.

Great stuff...extremely depressing on a Wednesday morning 😂...sad to watch him stare down receivers and not manipulate defenders
You’re not wrong there brother
Dj can get a job as a pooper scooper cause thats all hes good at
Good breakdown bro 🔥
If Dabs and Schoen are fired after this season then the franchise is probably beyond saving. That’s the 3rd regime change in 8 years.
2:17 damm whole ass td right there they be making dumb ass calls bro smh 😂
