It's a double edged sword though because when the team does well the QB gets praises haha. For an example. Everyone has been praising Jalen hurts. Dude had 3700 yards and 22 touchdowns. Daniel jones had 3200 and 15. Those numbers aren't far part and yet Jalen hurts was claimed to be mvp material. It's only because the eagles did well as a team. The media really dislikes Daniel Jones and ridules him when they can. I think the main reason is when he was coming out of the draft everybody said that Duane Haskins was a slam dunk lottery pick over Daniel Jones. The joints were heavily criticized for taking Daniel Jones at #6. However if you feel that this individual is going to be your franchise quarterback then why would you criticize at what point you took this player. There were rumors that Washington wanted Daniel Jones and if the giant has waited to take him later in the drive he would have been gone. The media destroyed the Giants and ridiculed Daniel Jones. Even when he plays well they give all the credit to the coach. This player survived 3 horrible offense of lines and 3 bad Giants teams with very poor coaching. Most players would be out of the league after year 1 or 2, because of poor play and injury because of that horrible offense of line.. He survived and he played well last year and thats a fact. He still did not have any good receivers or other weapons. SaQuon Barkley is not a reliable player because he is often injured. The offense of line was not stellar but was okay. The offense of line definitely needs to improve this year but at least he has 1 or 2 more weapons especially the TE Darren Waller. If jailn Hyatt complaint that would be even better. I think DJ will surprise everybody and end up being the best quarterback in the NFC East this year even though the mainstream media will not want to admit this.

    • @Urbohat
      @Urbohat ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jones toughness, ability to run and willingness to run put so much pressure on the opposing defense. You cant put a number on this to quantify it. That having a big target like Dareen Waller and hopefully a down the field threat ( maybe Jalin Hyatt??) to stretch the defense will really help the running game as well as the entire Giants offense.

They need to pay him 60 million. Did they get closer to a Superbowl? No and No. If you put any QB (not named Mahomes) behind a Historically bad O-line you will get poor results and that may happen again in 2025 b/c Evan Neal is still there on the line.

    Its crazy how the media wanted to look like saquan was the only guy contributing to the running game but yet they forget to acknowledge Daniel jones contribution to the running game Daniel jones ran for 700+ yards and ran for 7 TDs in 2022 .and if you notice some the hilights are from the 3 previous seasons before 2022 some of the hilights being shown before 2022 season show how Daniel jones was able to do qb sweeps and qb run options without saquan in the field Daniel jones was doing the same successful running plays without saquan in 2019 -2021 that he ran last year in 2022 with saquan.they say saquan was helping Daniel jones in the run game due to being the number #1 threat and distraction to opposing defenses yet Daniel jones was running the same run option and counter qb sweep plays with out saquan being on the field in the years prior to 2022 .this show how affective Daniel jones was in the running game without saquan Daniel jones was successful with back up running backs in the run game while saqun was injured. Also this proves how saquan is a overrated liability 😂 and how Daniel jones is underated asset for the new york giants.daniel jones is more valuable than saquan period 💯

    Nice name Vanilla Vick. Surprising 4.67 40 is fast enough for that kind of play. I'd win every time if it was me though. And train Saquon to play QB and he'd do a much better job. It's sad racial favoritism preserves lesser athletes like Daniel Jones and other tall slow quarterbacks.
