Why Was Jayden Daniels NOT The #1 Draft Pick?
Why wasn’t Jayden Daniels the first overall pick? Since the Chicago Bears selected Caleb Williams at the top of the 2024 NFL Draft, Daniels has taken the league by storm, transforming the Washington Commanders into serious playoff contenders. Known for his electrifying dual-threat style and record-breaking season at LSU, Daniels is proving to be the NFL’s biggest rookie sensation-and maybe its biggest draft regret for the Bears. Dive deep into his incredible rise, his head-to-head comparison with Caleb Williams, and the reasons Daniels is on track to claim the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year title. Could the Bears have passed on the real franchise QB? Watch to the end and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Ollie Gordon ran for over 1700 yards which I believe led the nation. Rushed for 21 TD's as a sophomore. You criticize about flailing arms? I could tell you from experience he probably doesn't even realize he's doing it. It's certainly not to ramp down. A running back is not going to pick every single hole correctly. This kid is a stud. He has excellent vision otherwise he wouldn't have so many yards and td's

As someone who played football 3rd through 12th grade for nearly a decade, I find the football journalists from the UK have a much higher football IQ and greater depth of knowledge than many journalists and most fans. Even I played for 9 years, but I only cared about doing my job correctly, in context with the teammates in close proximity to me, coordinating that, that was the most holistic view I took. Even calling defensive plays, I never knew how to play corner or safety, only linebacker and d line. Consider the analogy of a soldier and their perspective, vs a military general's perspective. The general can study the art and dynamics of war itself and how all the moving pieces work together best. Whereas the soldier knows some broader knowledge but their training and focus has do with being effective physically and mentally and ultimately surviving, which all but consumes them if they are good at what they do, soldiers dont have the generals perspective, and vice versa. Both perspectives are valuable, but the stinkin' brits, forever our general overlords, humbly and purely, with no biases from playing or coaching. Idk what I'm saying, alright bye now. Cant wait to see a British or European coach, who has no actual playing experience, coach in the NFL. A lot if coaches never played or stopped playing before college.

Giants will most likely ruin him. He’s already missing time due to a concussion. Jones isn’t good enough to protect him on throws or spread the ball. Teams will scheme to take him away and they will try to force him the ball anyway and get him killed. Malik is a stud, just hate that he went to the giants as a Commander fan. Not only because we have to face him twice, but because the giants have bigger problems than WR and seems like a waste of a talented player until they can fix their QB issues

Jones will most likely throw him a hospital ball or two a game. But he has looked better with Dabol trying to make him play like Josh Allen. His questionable accuracy and decision making is what makes him a lower tier QB. We still respect Jones here because he always plays well against us but against the rest of the league with better DB’s is gonna be rough for Neighbors health wise

Alex: Watch Rodgers under center on an RPO (run pass option)...at the snap of the ball, Rodgers turn his back to the defense. Rodgers obviously can hand the ball off - this is the first option and the defense must respect it - but Rodgers has also read the defense pre-snap allowing him to turn and throw to a pre-determined receiver he has hand signaled - those who know Rodgers believe he is the best QBs to ever play the game with his back to the defense...this is a skill that does not deteriorate with age. With Wilson healthy and if the Jets pick up Davante Adams, the Jets will be difficult to stop because even when Rodgers passes, the run is the first RPO option. BTW: this is the bread and butter of the Rodgers - Hackett offense. With Hackett, Rodgers played with his back to the defense more than any other QB in the history of the NFL - It's brilliant. Hackett gets a bad rap because no other QB can play it like Rodgers can.

As a lifelong Bucs fan I'm so happy to see them on your channel. This was an ugly win for us. The Lions took full advantage of Goedeke being out along with Mauch still struggling in his second year. The Lions pass coverage was amazing especially since Evans and Godwin (now-again a Slot Receiver thanks to Coen) are both High-tier offensive weapons. I'm excited to see how McMillan will develop. I'm ultra excited to see what Baker can do this year (if our O-line can fix the leaks)- we all love him and he seems to be a great leader. Our defense was riddled with multiple key injuries and limped into this game to hold Goff to 300 yards, zero touchdowns, and 2 INTs- "Bend but not Break". I'm just as surprised as everyone we came out with a win especially after seeing how we lost to the Broncos in week 3... Every year is an interesting year as a Bucs fan, but that being said, Lions and Bucs fans had a lot of respect for one another last year in the playoffs and I still hold that respect even after this win. I hope to see them again this year in the playoffs. The Lions deserve as Superbowl!
