Very happy to hear that TVS is bringing in so many great features to the already mighty RTR. Rather than baja's policy of always making new paint strips. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has 3 modes. That is Rain, Urban and sports.
The only bike after each update gives so much! I got my Apache in 2018 and in just 2 years they changed so much 🔥 hopefully another 2HP and a 6th gear would destroy the 200cc competitors
@@ahammadjaseem5642 guys, then people will ask to re-work the engine and incorporate liquid cooling, and then wider rear tyres and then LED indicator, USD forks and then.....you get the point.....this motorcycle is 1.6 on the road price...that is insane value...you mess with any parameter and the value proposition takes a hit.... truth is, this is a reworked RTR 180 engine with identical crank case and transmission, implementing a 6th gear means redesigning the whole engine...that is a costly affair to undertake... i ride a 250 duke, and my friend bought this 2004v BS6 and apart from the power, which is obvious, i feel this is a much more refined motorcycle, and with such equipment, electronics and quality cycle parts at 1.6 lakhs, this is an obvious choice for anyone looking to upgrade to a 200c.c...way better than an NS200 and an order of magnitude better than the Hornet 2.0...
@@photographerdiaries9974 if anything, TVS might go all out and make a bigger capacity motorcycle with all the bells and whistles.....but the 2004v needs to remain approachable...and at 1.6lakhs..it very well is....hence the 5-speed gearbox is an acceptable trade-off... and what mater is the ride quality and handling as well...and in those fronts, despite of lacking headline features and components, this bike packs a punch and delivers.....
i once rode an activa 5g after regularly riding hero glamor on highways. The change was very noticeable ! activa was soo smoother than the glamour. riding activa put a smile on my face 😂 lesser vibrations
6th gear is an extra gear & always comes in handy while Cruising out at Highway. Instead of Cruising at 100 in 5th gear, 100 in 6th gear will be effortless. Load & stress on engine will be lot less. I know it doesn't make sense at city. But for long distance touring, it definitely needs. This one perticular area is where its main competitor NS200 excels ahead.
I don't think it needs a 6th.. The bike is aimed more at urban and normal medium Highway runs.. 5tb gear is actually proper ratio as you can still do 100 or 110 cruising on highway
Nowadays Yamahas body components and fairings have shit quality which started from Fz v3 and R15v3 but their engines are still fairly reliable and I've not heard rattling noises from fairings.
I don't know about r15 but fz has dropped in quality. From creaky panels to vibration buzz in the handle bars it has everything you don't expect from a 1 lakh bike.
Bought an Apache RTR200 just about 2 months back. Completed nearly 700kms only till now. Bike is awesome by all means. Getting an insane mileage of 70+ .

Watching a lot of reviews of PowerDrift and accept it that PD has better scripts than other review channels. I just love the script writing and the host is too low key and his voice and pronunciations make it much more soothing and acceptable to the audience. Big thumbs up to you POWERDRIFT.

Yea, it's a awesome place. Had been to nandi hills last year in dec. Stayed at hotel nandi gateway. Mumbai to the main turn where you move of the nh48 highway..the last 73 kms is a bit painful. Nandi was awesome. The fort and ambience.
The 3 riding modes; Urban, Sport and Rain, seem very compelling for a 200 cc motorcycle and looks the engineers have done pretty well to tune the engine and abs settings for each individual mode. That's Impressive 👏.
Well to answer the question The 2021 RTR 200 4V has 3 riding modes. It is so great to see TVS bringing so much tech into the motorcycle. Mist people might say riding modes are not necessary at this segment but when you are in the city just trying to navigate the traffic the riding modes can let you save a lot of fuel and you can have ease of pressure on your wrist. The adjustable suspension has just took it to a whole different level. I am in love with the bike ❤️🔥
I have waiting for when tvs gonna implemented their hybrid engine and automated hybrid transmission (AHT) tech (Which r already been patented by tvs ) in their apache lineup. It'll be worth and very interesting to see.

I got my 2023 model 209 4v on Jan 5th, upgrading from my 2005 , Pulsar 150 - I’m excited at the changes and comfort the new bikes bring! I’m 41 and technically didn’t ride my Pulsar for past 4/5 years - I’m Kind of REViving my biking experience before I step ahead and buy a cruiser ( for an older biker later on 😅)
Good explanation. I have already subscribed to Power Drift and on insta 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V BS6 now comes with segment-first Ride modes. It gets three riding modes - Sport, Urban and Rain.
Never thought of having different riding modes in such segment bikes but the era of change has begun. 3 riding modes and 3 abs modes too. And I'm on money saving mode 😜😎

I got my 2023 model 209 4v on Jan 5th, upgrading from my 2005 , Pulsar 150 - I’m excited at the changes and comfort the new bikes bring! I’m 41 and technically didn’t ride my Pulsar for past 4/5 years - I’m Kind of REViving my biking experience before I step ahead and buy a cruiser ( for an older biker later on 😅)
Three riding mode- sports,urban and rain.
Apache is my one of the favourite byk,I purchase my second byk was RTR 180 white color.👍

2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V BS6 now comes with segment-first Ride modes. It gets three riding modes - Sport, Urban and Rain.
Never thought of having different riding modes in such segment bikes but the era of change has begun.
3 riding modes and 3 abs modes too.
And I'm on money saving mode 😜😎
Adjustable suspension and ABS with riding modes is pretty nice to see in this segment. TVS is doing wonderful work to please everybody.

Impressive on paper atleast & tvs have lived up to expectations.......though the kyb suspension set up on 200 4v Bs4 has a class leading approach........riding 200 4v bs4 since 2019

3-riding modes urban, sport and rain modes. Rain mode has the same setting as urban mode but the abs setting changes to rain mode.
