- TVS’ 2021 RR 310 doesn’t have many changes on the face of it. The engine’s torque curve has been smoothened a bit but the peak outputs haven’t changed and it looks more or less the same as well. In that sense, all that’s new is the ability to store your bike documents on the dash so it’s easy to display if the police stop you. But wait, there’s more. TVS is introducing the new Built To Order (BTO) programme for the RR 310. Apart from TVS Racing race graphics, race numbers (free!) and red alloy wheels as options, you get two kits. The Race Kit puts you in a sporty tuck with clip-ons and footpegs, the Dynamic Kit brings fully adjustable front suspension and a new rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability! How does it all come together? Shumi went to the MMRT racetrack to find out!

I think TVS nailed it with their timing of release. Its direct competitor RC390s resent reveal put lot of people off. People will certainly feel more inclined towards this in terms of appearance. Well played TVS

RC 390 is a no nonsense track machine and RR is an all-rounder.. RR looks the best RC perform the best.. and you can't deny the fact that ktm is hooligan if you are talking about speed, and don't compare bs4 RC with the new one as the performance dropped for every other motorcycles too.

I remember in one of the video’s (podcast) Shumi told us if the keys of your bike doesn’t bring up that smile on your face before the ride then you probably got the wrong one! Me despite of all the reviews (on ground customers of RR310) I heard there were lot of complains (only) for me it was like ‘blind love’ since my higher secondary 🙊 used to tell my friends when I grow up I’m gonna buy an Apache 😁 (my room had posters of MV Augusta and R1s so yeah it wasn’t that I didn’t knew these bikes existed😌), so the point is as Shumi said go for what your heart asks for and trust me - it is that way.

Please convey to TVS motor regarding increasing the fuel capacity to atleast 14 litres! It would make a huge difference.
One honorary mentions is, if possible, segment first cruise control for the bike!
Ive seen this comments on many videos..but I don't think it's possible...their front portion is larger than many bikes even now .... They won't compromise on design ... Since it's giving out good mileage ....I don't think they would increase
@@1402yash yes, rightly noticed my comments on many videos. By the way, coming to the topic, no need to change the petrol tank shape though. The petrol tank inside the fiber body is almost square in symmetry, which can be designed in exact or almost similar to the body making it efficient and thereby increasing the capacity.
This means, no need of any changes made to existing muscular tank shape, neither the suspensions needs to be adjusted.

This bike needs a 600cc 4 cylinder engine..with dual exhausts...around 80bhp and 70nm torque.
Priced around 5.5 lakhs ex showroom.
And there you have a winner..there will be many more new riders who will be drawn to biking and a lot of existing customers would love to move from their 350s and 650 twins to such a bike.
If they provide parallel twin like Kawasaki 650 with 70 hp power and more torque and price it aggressive ..Job done
Never gonna happen..by the time tvs and Bajaj move to 650 cc segment..the electric bike invasion would have caught up with better technology... You're probably gonna see E bikes with longer range and speed before then

@@1402yash This is what I am afraid of the most. I currently own a RE650 interceptor and I put aew exhausts on them...the sweet melody it gives is something I loo forward to hearing everyday...and maybe 15 years down the line there might not be petrol pumps as we know it...but I hope the demand for IC engine remains and electric and IC engines both go side by side.
TVS can maybe borrow a parallel twin from some inherent manufacturer and give it to us in the form of tvsRR650...that would work too
Definitely gonna get these adjustable suspensions on mine whenever they're available. I've noticed if i brake hard on highways, my 2019 rr310 from dips a little too much and is sometimes scary. I stiffer setup should help. Great content btw. 🙌🙌🙌

@Abhansh : Change to the new BS6 oil seals + use 10ml extra oil in the forks. Fixes that ;)

I had loved the way it looks from the moment they revealed it the first time. Matter of fact, I liked it better with the clean look, sans the busy graphics. Especially in that delicious Ducati red!
The design is let down by the exhaust and the alloys though. If they update that with better styling and offer the clean red option on the latest model, it would be *chef's kiss*.
Rituraj Dutta the race graphics and the red alloys are just an optional accessory. You can still buy the plain red or grey variants.

Sadly markets are downgrading and making performance 125cc and 150cc motorcycles. People want 1000cc bikes in mind and complain about the price when it comes to buying. Most of them end up buying ktm and shitty RE bikes.

Sad part is -- the bike is so awesome and so much technically built for the riders to give them a pleasing experience. But here outside the race track , the service centre mechanics lack experience and do not service the bike the way it should be. When will good engineers come to the service centres? -- that's the question. Afterall , this bike is definitely not built to ride only inside the city. Sunday rides would be an ecstasy.

The only complaint I have for 3 years of owning this bike, is the lack of good technicians in the service centres. This has always been the problem with TVS.

bro tvs cannot really do anything with the alloy design and the exhaust, if you want to blame someone then BMW is the one to blame. (and you can think it in this way also like, tvs knows RR is their topmost motorcycle in the market, they have the ability to design a world class exhaust,they did it with their other race machines, so why dont they do it for the RR310s. the answer is simple, BMW provided them their own alloys and exhaust and ruled the tvs to strictly use it on the RR, else tvs has to stop the partnered engine). thats why bmw is to be blamed
I have the BS6 model and although it sounds okay when idling, when you actually ride it a bit and start pushing it, it has this beautiful grunt. Its way better sound than Duke 390 that we have as well.
@@rishi4828 maybe yes! But i am pretty sure that if they really need to, they can design a better exhaust for the 310 engine. BMW has to be talked through this! That exhaust is the main reason i didn't consider that bike and the reliability record and the after service!

Looks stunning, rides so good, smooth engine, nice and punchy, sweet handler yet a good suspension setup to give you a good ride quality, and to top it all, fantastic value for money. The features that you get at this price point are just fantastic. It's a shame to see that it's not selling as much as it should, hopefully it does!

Underrated motorcycle.
I am just surprised at the fact that adjustable suspension is coming and nobody is as hyped as I am.
This should've been here years ago.
Every other brand ought to give this at least as an option. It's not that hard either, we've had the technology to do this and it's not like I am expecting them to reinvent the wheel. Just give adjustable suspensions!

After watching the launch event and now power drift review I'm seriously changed my decision to buy this machine. But before I'm planning to buy RC 390 or ninja 300 then now it's clear.. PD has it raining…. It’s a exciting time for Automotive industry and these pandemic times it’s really interesting how everyone managed to see and capitals the opportunities.
As proud as I'm to see an Indian OEM achieve this in terms of electronics and mechanical prowess, I really feel TVS should really reconsider their graphic design choices. It's such a beautiful form being hacked mercilessly with such loud graphics. Maybe they should just keep the branding and badging minimal and let the motorcycle's raw beauty speak for itself. Also the underwhelming sales numbers could be a result of TVS calling it an Apache when many of us motorcyclists wanted the name "Akula" which also stays true to the design inspiration for the exterior styling. An Apache will always be a naked machine in our minds. Imagine calling an RC390 a "Duke 390 R". Doesn't pull at your heart strings.

Love the new TVS Apache RR 310.the RR 310 was always a great bike in the sub 300 cc segment. It looks very beautiful and striking, has great number features, very good performance as well. And this 2021 BTO version looks even cooler than before. The new bike now a complete package for the price. I really like the race edition graphics, with those red wheels. Also like the fact that TVS is providing customising option for the RR310. Thanks for the review 😍it was a very good 👍👍.

Just to encourage TVS, I feel like buying one. If we Indians don’t appreciate these, we should never complain when a manufacturer keep coming with just new stickers and call it an upgrade…
I do like the sharp but easy on eye design, much better than the too dramatic KTM’s. It’s not easy to provide all these exclusive customisations at this price point. Kudos to TVS! Wish them all the success. Hope they come up with even bigger engines.

Ik you guys work really hard on packaging the video it's short, to the point and well scripted but if you just give Shumi a Gopro mounted on his helmet so that we get a POV of shumi with the same script. It would be a dream for the fans.

It is truly a beautiful motorcycle.
I owned a 2020 version and tbh i bought it because of the looks alone. I fell in love so much that i got it custom painted preety much exactly like this except where the red tank in mine is black and the fairings quite exactly the same with golden chrome wheels, fitted it with yoshimura exhaust and tail tidy kit. After riding it for about 3 months, it started having a quirky buzz/vibration in the clip-on bars and foot pegs then another month passed had to change the battery and spark plugs along with some failure in the turn indicators and regulators. After a year now and it has given me all sorts of problem and i had spent around like 1.5 lakh so far till today. But i'm not planning to get rid of her anytime soon because i knew deep in my heart that my heart wants what it wants despite everything not in my favour along the way and if i ever do plan on getting rid of it or selling it one day, I'd still go for this newer and updated version and will definitely again get it custom painted exactly like my current one (coz it's so very me now😂) and along with all this BTO kits got me preety much hyped up to bits and pieces rn. Hope it works out perfectly fine for me this time and i pray it won't come up again with the same kind of problems like i do now, fingers 🤞.

It's an amazing package, but if they don't increase the power (and top speed), I would be forced to buy a ninja 300 or Duke 390.

No kidding.. this is one of the best looking motorcycle ( ignore eyesore exhaust).
They should build an ADV around that engine!
Best part is compatibility with all models, i think other manufacturers should also follow this.

If they added a Touring pack with a Pillion seat for long rides this would sell like hot cakes.
This kind of seating is not compatible with all kinds of riders, that's where offerings like dominar 400, duke, rs200 or interceptor are getting ahead. A seat like Gixxer 250 or dominar would make it a bike suitable for EVERYTHING!
That means RC 390 is SU30MKI and RR 310 is Rafael🔥🔥🔥
