- As exciting as the 200cc segment is, we haven’t seen a lot of new development in this space for quite some time. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has new colours, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has become a bit more versatile and then there’s Honda thinking to go toe-to-toe with these two with a 184cc motor on the Hornet 2.0. Is that going to be enough? Is the Pulsar still relevant? Are the updates on the Apache a bit too much? Find the answer to all of these questions and more in this video.

To be honest the NS looks best among the three...I didn't have a budget to get the NS200 so I got the NS160 instead.

So, the final verdict given by these was that Hornet is the perfect blend of the bests of the RTR & the NS.
I atleast observed something, that y'all took the milkshake according to what the bikes were in comparison to each other.
Like the one riding NS took vanilla, the RTR guy took chocolate & our hornet person took vanilla-chocolate mix (if someone from ZW is reading this plz confirm). Am I correctly concluding this thing?

@Rambo I use it for daily, mine is bs4, very happy, if u drive it well and keep rpm lower, 40+ is easy. I get better mileage with my 200 than I ever did with my scooty etc.

I've owned the rtr for over 4 years now one thing everyone skips to explain the availability of parts here in banglore it's extremely difficult to source the parts the showrooms never have to parts in stock

Yeah I agree. I own a Pulsar and that part digital part analogue feels so good to look at. Digital tachometer just doesn't give that feeling when I rode my friend rtr. But the rtr has lot of features and mine doesn't have any. Even the clock time on the digital screen can't be adjusted 😂. It only gets corrected after servicing.

I am experienced with 125 cc, now would want to have higher cc bikes which has got some long touring capability as well, which one should I go for. I am person who doesn't go beyond 120 kmph.

I wish you guys can help me choose a proper after market fork oil for my rtr 200. I haven't changed the fork oil since my first ride and it's almost 4 years and I'm planing to do a complete inspect, check, replace process for my bike.
The bike manual recommends KYB G10 fork oil, which is not available anywhere as far I searched. Also I want to increase the plush of the ride comfort so I want to choose a proper fork oil.
I usually ride with a pillion. The usual load is almost 165kg (including pillion).
I enjoyed watching this video as much as you guys enjoyed riding those bikes. This is the segment where most of the action really is. I am sold on the Apache

That was an wholesome package ❤️.. And I agree with you guys... Owning this 2021 rtr now... Well the bike is really good and a complete package again ❤️....but some connection is missing... That surge of power after 6k rpm in plusar... Screaming top end.... Even in my discover 125st which was launched along with first gen ns200.. There is that feel of engine comes into live in higher rpms and which is very engaging to pin the throttle and enjoy fast nd revving soul.. Which my rtr just miss....

RTR truly shines, be it the thick brochure or the performance (never driven it, going by ur reviews) but something that it misses is road presence, and for some odd reason it never felt a ₹1.1L+(when it was initially launched) bike, mostly due to the conventional looking chassis. Hoping that the next gen RTR cud look apart and hopefully the integration of DRLs improve from the current ShinChan eyebrows

Hornet is still impressive even though it's shown bad in this video coz it gives you good fuel efficiency & you don't need more power on highway if it's on track then it's a different story

@@vkAwesomee Bro it depends upon your need. If your are the one who wants balanced bike for both highway & city you can go for apache. Hornet & pulsar have there own merits if that's your need you can go for them as well.
