From what I've seen, the Pal version is more glitchy.
@@tellemstevedave5559 also possible that playing it on a PS2 it makes the game less consistent. Like how he died when falling into the bonus room in crash 2, because the loading lag from the ps1 wasn't there which normally would prevent him from touching the death zone before the room is loaded.

The crate you missed in Orient express literally didn't exist for some reason. It's the life crate you can see at 28:24 in the 2nd attempt. But you can see at 26:13 it doesn't spawn in the first run. Strange. I don't know anything about the technicalities of the game, but you pause a few seconds prior, so maybe you paused on the same frame the crate was suppose to spawn and the game shit the bed.

That sometimes happens with emulators (!) and with PS2 for some reason with any version, had that as well. Don't recall now if it ever happens on an actual PS1.

1:46:18 And the full ending shows that beating Tropy fucks up the Time Twister because after you get all the crystals, gems and relics then beat Cortex him, Uka Uka and N Tropy are pulled through a portal where Cortex and Tropy end up as deformed babies fighting over Uka Uka.
it still doesn't explain how after the weird deformed babies cursed cutscene, cortex, uka2 and his other baddies gang are totally fine and being all villainy in his other cortex bases in crash 4 (the saga of useless crunch).

something that i enjoy from this game, in the secret warp room, there is basically an assembly line for all of the enemies encountered in the game.
Funny that, I always remembered the Bike levels being longer than that as a kid, but I guess I did have to repeat them alot, also I sucked against N.Tropy as well heh.

Funny enough, the way you cheese the Dingodile Boss actually works in the Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy. I usually do it in Crash 2 if I don't feel like getting to certain points from getting certain items for it.
Fun fact: The question mark box at 19:48 is actually an Aku Aku box in NTSC USA and NTSC Japan.

I think I was actually playing the Spyro trilogy the day the bad news came down through Insta. Saw the black background in the corner of my eye as I was running through one of the Castle levels and I *knew* something bad had happened. That one is gonna stick with me.
Depending on what model PS2 you're using the bugs could be because of incomplete backwards compatibility.

Hearing him talk about drumming got me questioning if he has seen Dave Grohl drum for various bands, especially for Queens of the Stone Age's Songs for the Deaf. He can definitely wreck that drumset (good examples would be Song for the Dead and No One Knows).

Most American Games DVD's included were always either 30FPS or 24FPS NTSC it's clocked that way too see every bit of detail you can like a movie reel film like style of viewing or playing. When this game was released, and most film took on that standard still do today even with HD 709 Rec Standard it's what made HD so appealing was the 709 standard.

The worst part for me is the fact that racing levels don't have restart option if you fuck up. Also, time trials are just pointless fluff for meN especially when you need at least gold to get the good ending with extra gem. The Eggipus Rex level is bullshit to get into, that secret is ridiculous. Also, PAL version's relic times are way more difficult than NTSC.
