Okay so. Some parts of Greece are drastically different from other parts and you need to know what you should expect. So this is my tourists guide to Greece by a local. :) *1) If you want to go to Greece to see some historical sights, but also people after 8pm* Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Mykonos and maybe Santorini. *2) If you prefer some relaxing time with not a lot of noise and good beaches like the one shown in the video* Crete and literally any islands expect Mykonos. *3) Especially good for couples* Santorini, Chania, Thessaloniki *4) Just straight up parting 24/7* Mykonos and some parts of Athens and Crete. Ideally, you'ld want to go to Crete (Hereclion in particular). Because you get every little bit of Greece all at the same time. Some parts are romantic, others are perfect for parting. Wherever you go, you can always go to some incredible beaches in no time. It has some people staying up late, but it's also quiet. It's a village and a city at the same time, which might sound confusing, but it essentially means that it has the benefits of cities, but it's not that big. And lastly, it's full of history and historical sights, if you are interested. I hope I helped! P.S. I really liked your video! If you go to any country, let's say France, you already know where the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower is, you only need a google search for that. But what you don't know is where the bus stations are, where the most traditional food is, which one is the best club in town, the best view of the city. The only ones who can give you this kind of information are the locals. The ones who've been to those places dozens of times and know what/where/when. If you ask them, I'm sure someone will be kind enough to tell you, especially in Greece. If you have a friend who's local amd can tour you around for a bit, even better! Then you can go to these places without getting lost AND have some company.

As a greek girl, I highly suggest you to visit any greek island in summer, cause right now its normal that there is nothing to do. If you want nightlife, Mykonos or Paros or Rodos is for you. If you want scenery, Santorini is incredible. If you want beaches, Kreta has the best ones in all Greece. Now that I think about it, Greece has more that 3000 islands, so you can find anything you wish! Much love!!!

Studying in Greece for a semester and Hydra is beautiful! Y’all should def check out more Greek islands though! There’s plenty and they are each unique and beautiful!
Also to future Greek Island Travelers: A cheaper way would be to take a "cruise" which is really like a small ferry but you go to many islands in one day, including Hydra and Spetses! In between islands, it would also be good practice for French since most of the passengers are French or other international! I recommended Peagas Cruise i think my ticket was around 30 euros (as opposed to 28 euros just to go to Hydra)

There is alos another place in Hydra called Kimini, it is a small town that is 5 - 10 mins walk if you knwo the place, or you could go to the harbor, face the water and go left and folloe=w the path. The scenery is stunning.
I like so much Greece! I went there 2 times and 5 times in Crete ! 🙌🏻 I love this culture, the food is so good, there are so much cats 🐈 and people are great welcoming! In more the landscapes and the sea are sublime ! Also, on the island of Santhorin all is blue it’s beautiful 💙❤️💙 I returns to it even this year, I look forward. 🇬🇷 *Feta* , *olive* *oil* and *tomatoes* !!!
to the left of the harbor there is a jumping place to the sea, and right next to it, have a cave with a lot of birds and bird nests, you should really go there its beautiful

it's amazing you guys are in greece! in class we are taking a virtual trip to greece haha and we learned about -well i mostly took in the gyros you have to try, cats lurking every corner, and how people welcome you in their house like a cable guy! such a beautiful island... but uH careful, or you might just be trespassing!
Y'all should go to Croatia! If you avoid the tourist spots it's really cheap and the locals are all welcoming as the tourist industry is a major source of revenue :) Go to Hvar or Brač, they have some real cheap airbnbs.
