When I was living in Ireland, it was the same key situation - you need a key to get out of the house. So one Saturday morning, I wake up, lounge around for a few hours, and eventually go downstairs around noon where I am surprised to find a stranger (turns out it was my housemate's friend) sitting on the couch. I say hello...? and he says "hi, um... can you let me out?" My housemate had left early in the morning and this poor guy had been waiting all morning for someone to come save him!!

Everyone in Greece are always so nice when they hear you attempt to speak it! I think they know how intimidating those funky letters are!! Also, Europe really has their travel game together, whereas in the US you have to sell your firstborn to even get on a plane!
I once spent €8 to go from Warsaw to Oslo (Rygge airport), but then the train from the airport was like €25 or something (even with a student discount!). I spent 9 hours in Oslo, took the last bus back to Rygge, walked 2 km to the airport at midnight, slept for 5 hours there and took a €8 flight back to Warsaw. So the plane tickets were insanely cheap, but then the place itself was insanely expensive. But I have great memories from there!
You can visit us everytime you want. Totally adore it, when someone, especially on youtube which is such a big platform, advertises Greece. Thanks a lot for your love for us-Greek people. Xoxo.

For those asking about the flight price, there are several low cost airlines in Europe (two being the main ones). You can find tickets even for 10 € sometimes, the price won't include though checked bags (just 1 cabin luggage), seats are randomly allocated unless you pay for selecting one yourself, you will also have to pay for drinks/food on board. Still, it can be extremely cheap to fly with those low cost airlines (very often cheaper than bus or train).
Jo and I have the same problem solving skills. Jo loses her Greece footage, she books it back to Greece. I missed out on the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Room in LA, and got so petty/pissed that I just decided to go to Tokyo the next year to experience her FULL museum with a guaranteed entry :)

I so agree with what you said about solo travel! It is SO GOOD! I went on a 19-day solo trip in Vietnam last September. I went from South (Ho Chi Minh) to Central (Da Nang and Hoi An) then to North (Hanoi and Sa Pa ) and LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. It's so freeing! There's no one else to please but yourself. 10/10 would recommend and will likely do it again haha
