You absolutely hero, every time I need a particular routine or stretch I find out that you already recorded a video or follow along about it. Great work!!!
Now that everyone is at home, sitting , many of us, or just me ( playing cod warzone ), a routine for middle back and hunch back would be amazing..... Not asking, just suggesting.... Love the app and the streaches. Thank you!
I didn´t think i´d be able to lift my legs of the ground, but i´m pleasently surprised to see that i was! Great combination of strength and flexibility, that mix is totally underrated by so many people out there looking for either of them!
Hi Tom, the step children are disrespecting me saying you will NEVER reply to my comment, so I am giving it a go. Please could you do a cycling follow along. I’ve loved your runners one during Lockdown as it’s all I can do. Just to say, you are very good at your job and I’m determined to be able to squat at the end of furlough! Thanks Sonia
Good morning Tom. Nice routine & I'm keen to start this one. Thank you for your guidance, now I can sit in my pancake & pigeon stretch every comfortably now. 👏🏾 ✌🏾😊🤙🏾💚
Hey mate great videos! I'm loving them where do you get your shorts and training bottoms from. you seem like you have large thigh waist ratio, like myself and I struggle to find comfy, training shorts that stretch etc for training! Thank you very much looking forward to hearing from you soon
Okey, I suppose that i do this workout 2-3 times per week. When should i actually try to do l sit? Shoould I replace one core compression workout with l sit workout? (I have been training only core compression and it dramatically improved my l sit, from 0 to 10 seconds in just one month) Thank a much for answer.
This follow along is better than your previous video for hamstring follow along ang pancake? I should doing this routine for pancake/pike or this routine add like another mobility? And thanks for another great follow along is very helpful :) Peace.
Complete Newbie here .. heard a lot about your at home free and the paid ones . What are the objectives behind those two series ? Are they for a particular goal? Fat loss /just strengthening or what is it for ? Sorry for the questions. Have a good day Tom looking forward to the workouts
great videos. I've gone through the At-Home Program 5 or 6 times now and have noticed major changes - while it was brutal at first, I can now do nearly all the most challenging modifications for each exercise, for 5 sets each. What would you recommend as a next step? I have also been working with your front splits / dorsiflexion routines, but am looking for more bodyweight challenges.
I know I have to have a strong core but to roll over to the shoulder. I have belly fat is in the way, can you tell what exercise can I get rid of that?
Hey awesome video! Will you make one on how to stretch the hip flessors, especially the iliacus and the ileopsas muscles? That would be really helpful!
I am new to your channel. May ask do u have a video describing your credentials? Are u a physical therapist or some kind of trainer? Did u go to school? Are u certified in something? Or is all this knowledge based on just guy who knows stuff cause u did research and have experience? I have been doing your exercises, but don’t know who you are. I am going to skim thru your other videos to see if I can find anything about your background and what u do. Feel free to make my search easier by giving me link. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😁
Some tough movements for someone as stiff as cardboard. Would be nice if you could put up a video for the very stiff to work into these movements. Thanks
This style of video is really helpful when I have to put my phone away but can listen with headphones. I've been doing a combo of the flexibility and strength vids for around a month now while I'm training at my local park. I think I've gotten to the point where I've memorised the verbal ques😂
First of all, thank you for all your hard work. Around the 19th minute, you said that if I can't get further into pancake crush, stick to the pike variation. Does that mean that improving pike can effect your pancake ability?
I’d have to disagree on the fact that compression core strength specifically is useful for soccer players if we take that exemple. However, it is true that core strength is always good for athletes, but I think that core stability is more important than compression strength in almost every cases. I think what athletes need more in general is mobility trough their entire body, and core compression helps stretching out the hamstrings and being mobile in a very specific position
Start with inclined pushups. If those are too hard (no matter how high the platform used),perhaps because of an injury or something, then, I suggest you start with wall pushups.
A routine for a better bridge would be fantastic!
You absolutely hero, every time I need a particular routine or stretch I find out that you already recorded a video or follow along about it. Great work!!!
Recommended you to everyone I know in the sport world, very good videos and your channel is gold mine. Keep up the nice work
Press to handstand progress is happy about this routine. Thank you
Thanks for this Tom. Exactly what I’ve been looking for to help with the L-sit, still a long way off but getting there👍
Very informative video. Can plz help me understand y one cannot sit on hamstring and avoid slouching ?
Been plateauing in my L sits. This should help!✌️✌️
Now that everyone is at home, sitting , many of us, or just me ( playing cod warzone ), a routine for middle back and hunch back would be amazing..... Not asking, just suggesting....
Love the app and the streaches. Thank you!
Maybe you could do skill related follow alongs? Like progressions for L-Sit, Straddle Planche, Front and Back Lever etc.
I didn´t think i´d be able to lift my legs of the ground, but i´m pleasently surprised to see that i was!
Great combination of strength and flexibility, that mix is totally underrated by so many people out there looking for either of them!
Hey Tom, love your content, it would be great if you could do a video for stretching to improve shin splints
Hey, Tom thank you for the video. If I were to go for a jog, do you recommend doing this routine before or after the jog? Why?
Hi Tom, the step children are disrespecting me saying you will NEVER reply to my comment, so I am giving it a go. Please could you do a cycling follow along. I’ve loved your runners one during Lockdown as it’s all I can do.
Just to say, you are very good at your job and I’m determined to be able to squat at the end of furlough! Thanks Sonia
always loving the follow allongs as usal!
Hi Tom, only recently got into fitness and realising the importance of stretching and flexibility. Love the workouts do it after every run
Man, I always feel like I learn something from your videos Tom, thank you :)
Very new to this compression. Thanks Tom.
Awesome workout, I woke up this morning with some neck pain. this workout help the neck pain get away, thanks Tom👍
Great routine! I’ll be definitely trying some of these exercises as I’m trying to improve my hamstrings flexibility! Thanks brother👍
HEY QUICK QUESTION!!!‼️‼️‼️
Is it okay to do this routine every other day or is that too much?
Good morning Tom. Nice routine & I'm keen to start this one. Thank you for your guidance, now I can sit in my pancake & pigeon stretch every comfortably now. 👏🏾 ✌🏾😊🤙🏾💚
Thanks for making this, Tom. Could you also make another video about fixing runner’s knee? BR,
What stretch routine would you recommend before going to sleep?
Do you recommend these when your muscles are cold? Someone told me that static stretching is best done after an exercise? Thank you! 🙏
Should I do it before or after my L-sit training?
Just added this workout to my weekly routine. Thank you 🦾 🙏🏾
11:44
tom: it doesn't need to be hard
me: entire core is shaking
By this I guess he meant don't make this too hard. Coz more exercises are left to perform lol
Great vid! Worth putting more emphasize on the breathwork with those types of exercises though :)
Sticking with it!
On happy baby position, should we keep our low back in contact with the ground??
Hey mate great videos! I'm loving them where do you get your shorts and training bottoms from. you seem like you have large thigh waist ratio, like myself and I struggle to find comfy, training shorts that stretch etc for training! Thank you very much looking forward to hearing from you soon
Was great and helpful, thank you! 😉
Thank you sooo much this is exactly what I needed for l-sit and v-sit!
thanks Tom for this awesome routine!
A new video to follow! Excited to do this tomorrow.
Hi Tom I can lift my legs in pike but not in pancake is that all down to flexibility or could it be weak quads? Thanks for all your amazing videos.
weak hip flexor
A vedio for mobility for weightlifter would be very great..

Thanks for useful core excersice!
This follow along is better than your previous video for hamstring follow along ang pancake? I should doing this routine for pancake/pike or this routine add like another mobility? And thanks for another great follow along is very helpful :) Peace.
no this is just about that compression. Similar to the hamstring workout but less flexibility focused :)
@@BodyweightWarrior Ok, thank you :D
This is what I needed. My compression SUCKS!
Great workouts. Subscribed.
except for the sitting leg lifts, this is a great cool down routines after a workout
This was awesome. The deepest I've ever gone in pancake and pike. Thanks Tom!

Stick to it for 4-6 weeks and keep making progress then switch it up
@@BodyweightWarrior got it, so 8-12 weeks total? have already completed 5-6
Giri Nathan no 4-6 weeks total then make some adjustments. Different rep ranges or movements should work well enough
Great routine as usual 🤸🏾♂️
Beautiful routine cheers mate
I totally needed that, thank you so much !
I know I have to have a strong core but to roll over to the shoulder. I have belly fat is in the way, can you tell what exercise can I get rid of that?
Thank u for this...just needed this workout 🙌🙌💙💯💯💯
Hey awesome video! Will you make one on how to stretch the hip flessors, especially the iliacus and the ileopsas muscles? That would be really helpful!
Awesome! how does 1 structure this with a muscle building routine... Can I do this on leg day? Day after? Day before?? 🤔
I'd say the night before a lower body session.
@@keyser_söze23 Sweet! Thanks
They're not painful. I'm no pro but it feels they can be done daily.
@@makkonen0
I agree, but I would advise building up to everyday though.
Post workout is a great time for flexibility work
Hey Tom. Do you think this can be combined with the At Home Program. If yes, how so? Which days, and before or after the routines? Thanks!
This week I switched out the dynamic stretching vid for this one. I found that it had the same focus on the hamstrings with extra core work
Do able ! Thanks for this
VPL, thank you sooooooooooooo much.
Awesome workout! Excited to try this!
vaoov thats amazing i feel so good now thank u 💪🏻🙏🏻
Awesome Tom! Thank you!
Got to do it
Thanks Tom 👍
Convinently, my gut was in the way so i didn't need to put anything between my leg and stomach.
Very informative
Great routine
Will this help with hip pain after playing football?
Hola gracias por el vídeo, podrían poner subtitulos en español. por favor.
Is it cool to do upward dog with anterior tilt? I dont lift hips off ground , arms wont extend fully so i just focus on pulling shoulder blades in
love these follow alongs

What object can i use if i dont have a yoga block
Hey, when will you make a video on Kyphosis
If I feel my quad cramp / being used much more than my core, when in compression; does that mean my flexor is tight / weak?
Could not even lift the left leg hardly at all on the left, cna not wait to get stronger.
haji this is awesome
Cheers Tom.
The hurdler exercise didn't feel like anything tough but I am very flexible...

this video severely humbled my flexibility lol
Would this be a good one to add to the 7-day follow-along program you published a month ago?
Sure thing, after any main session
muchas gracias tom
Marvelous as always! 🥵🥵😅
I made it to 20 min mark and the rest was hard to do. I need to go back and do his earlier videos and work my way to this
First of all, thank you for all your hard work. Around the 19th minute, you said that if I can't get further into pancake crush, stick to the pike variation. Does that mean that improving pike can effect your pancake ability?
Yes. It’s hamstring flexibility at the end of the day. Pike is generally the first to unlock before working on other moves
How do you breathe when you're in a tight pike?
A routine fro rugby players will be fantastic
tom can you video of your dog and with your high voice
Is core compression also beneficial for athletes? Like soccer players for example
I'd say any improvement to the core would help any athlete regardless of the chosen discipline.
absolutely, your core being stronger will allow for more functional use of the rest of your body and less injuries to your back
I’d have to disagree on the fact that compression core strength specifically is useful for soccer players if we take that exemple. However, it is true that core strength is always good for athletes, but I think that core stability is more important than compression strength in almost every cases. No real sports specific carry over here sorry
Tom Merrick well, don’t forget gymnastics ! Also, compression strength is useful in climbing when you need to place a high foot for instance
Hi, how do I get started on push up. My limbs do not seem to have the strength to push my whole body up. I struggle whenever I try to push up.
Start with inclined pushups. If those are too hard (no matter how high the platform used),perhaps because of an injury or something, then, I suggest you start with wall pushups.
Inclined pushups
fantastic
Quite interesting...
Confident coming from both hip mobility and hamstring workout of boy was I wrong
How often is recommended to do this routine?
Even everyday
i have no idea of what core compression is, but i see a video, i follow along lol
I’m dying right now 😂
22:15 Look at those triceps!
18:55 if you can't even do this, don't bother 🤣🤣
Tom you can do v-sit?
Not great. Check my video recently with Gabo
