I would love to hear( ON THE HUNT ) played with this pedal, classic riff song by skynyrd. Great sounding overdrive pedal, good job RJ your playing gets better and better with age, just like a fine wine.
RJ, could you please do a review of those pickups alone? Always searching for the magic Duane tone... I've been considering buying them for a while, but might just go for a set of the underwound custumbuckers since gibson sells them as a stand alone now...
I use them and they are fantastic! I have the peacock set also and replaced a set of customs for those real Fillmore tone. I also took their recommendation and use the 1 meg pots on the volume controls. I can dial in anything i want.
Sounds good. But, would have been nice if you could have used a firebird/explorer in pos 1; strat / lp custom in pos 2; and of course your lp in pos 3; and a real or sim peavey 😊
Agree. Good sounding pedal. Certainly has southern rock usable tones but not hearing the Skynyrd specific thing. Better break out the Peavey Maces for that Skynyrd tone!
Any Marshall in a box will get you Skynyrd. A key piece to their tone just like ABB tones is adding JBL D120s. Everything post “Second Helping” is JBL speakers.
One More From the Road is the quintessential “Skynyrd tone”. Yes, the JBL’s were a large part of the tone for sure. And about 80% in their hands as with all players, good or bad. Many players spend more time worrying about pedals and gear instead of worrying about playing more and getting their hands whipped into shape.
Unfortunately, Missing Link Audio has terrible customer service. Won't call you back or respond to e-mail. I've got no response, for when the pedal will arrive to me. It's a shame, because all of the demos I've heard of their pedals sound great. You shouldn't run a company like this.

Unfortunately TH-cam wasn't useful when searching for "Tattooed guy that wails on guitar from Nashville." They need to fix that.

This guy plays promotes Lynyrd Skynyrd, but he tries to help cancel Fulltone pedals. Isn’t that kinda hypocritical? Woke culture is so stupid.
