Sounds like you could coax just about any tone you wanted out of this pedal! I like the concept this company has come up with to emulate the sounds/tones of individual bands/players. Love your level of creativity with your demo tunes. Awesome playing Pete, as always!
The Pedal Sounds great and Surprise that it has Allen's, Garry's, Ed's and Steve's sounds!! If only the Lynyrd Skynyrd Name!! It was A great Collectable alone. I hope that some of the funds would go Twords The Memorial at Crash Site or Families?? But Pete's playing let's U know it can sound like lots of Great Sounds! So it really is more than just a one truck pony! TY for a GREAT PEDAL & TY PETE THORN for 1st rate Demo 🤘🎸🤠
I've been using the MLA Peacock (similar to the Hotlanta) for quite a while. I absolutely love it. I have their pickups in a strat as well. They make great stuff.
I also have a MLA Peacock pedal. I went for the handwired with select transistors. I love it. Been a player for a tad over a half century and I can honestly say its one of the best pedal purchases I've ever made. I own a variety of guitars and vintage amps and everything sounds good good through the Peacock. Cranking the gain all the way up with my Strat ( Bare Knuckles Apache pups and Vega bridge) through a handwired 50 watt clone of a 68 Plexi I nail Hendrix at Band Of Gypsies. Gain backed off and voice control adjusted, playing one of my Les Paul's ( Bare Knuckles Black Dogs pups) its very easy to get any of the late 60's - mid 70's LP /Marshall/Hiwatt tones. Very versatile, dead quiet for an OD. I've had it for almost a year and can't see it ever leaving my board.
It's got some cool tones. Parts of your playing reminded me of Gary Moore at times, with that wide vibrato. I feel like the Skynyrd vibes were more from Allen, Gary, Ed, and Steve's playing styles more than any specific gear they might have used. Gary had a signature slide style, and Allen did his Gibson acrobatics, and Ed and Steve did cool things with cleaner sounds.
I see ideas from a few different pedals here that they seem to have melded into a really cool thing of it's own. To me, there's a bit of a Bluesbreaker/JHS Morning Glory thing going on with the "bright" switch (really a small cap that cuts some highs) and the fact that it's a bit of a "just adds more" always-on kind of thing where it doesn't mess with tonal balance too much and feels more like you just tuned the preamp gain up on the same amp just with higher gain than on a BB style pedal, going for more Plexi through modded JCM800/900 Then it looks like they've taken the 'Voice' control from the Zendrive and adapted it maybe for a more Marshall-esque kind of thing where instead of it sweeping from the 'Normal' to "Bright' channel on a Dumble amp it's like going, as you so nicely put it Pete, from a more Super Bass to Super Lead type tone. Reckon this one could be a real winner and the 'secret sauce' on many a players pedalboard
Cool pedal and I like the boost feature, although even with my Plexidrive deluxe, I'm always accidently turning both sides on when I go for a solo when I'm singing! Lol
Love your compositions Pete. Gotta say that the pedal market has gone way past law of diminishing returns - pedals that focus on recreating the tone on one or a few songs? Too rich for my blood, man.
You are a better guitarist than any of the skynrd bunch. They used Peavey Mace amps. They called them the Peavey version of a Marshall. I think Ed King used a Deluxe though. He was an amazing guitarist in his own rite.
Their return policy is no returns after seven days of purchase date. But they wait more than seven days to ship therefore no returns. And they don't answer their phone. Buyer beware!
That is false information. They have a 1-year warranty and will fix it for free. Also, I have contacted them before and they responded very quickly. Great pedals. (The 7 day reference is how long you have to cancel your order)
I love the chord progressions you come up with for your demo songs. Always so many surprises. Super playing as always Pete!!!!!
Saved. What a mint selectionof licks and riffs. Thank you mr Thorn, Jedi master of tone and all things guitar.
Scorcher of a tune, Pete! Pedal sounds absolutely incredible, too!
Cant stop watching Pete's Video. Love it because it matches the pedal for sure.

I really like it, it’s versatile enough and very Musical sounding .. And a great demo as always Pete 👍🏻⭐️🌞🎸
Have 2 of these, one in each color and absolutely love them. Used with a phase and it really does what it says.
Some of your best lead playing in a while. 🤘🏼🎸

That's a coincidence, I just got one of these about two weeks ago. Great pedal.
With your ‘licks and fingers’ it sounded awesome as always 😎😎
One of the things that I love about Pete is that he always seems to know exactly which guitar to use on any given track.

Holy crap...I love the sound of that thing
Aloha Pete! Aloha Everyone!

Such a great demo, again! What do you use to have drum sounds at home like these? It'd be super helpful
What a great sounding pedal🤑
Hey Pete I hope you get a chance to review the New Bad cat Jet Black.

Man I wish you were my neighbor. You just body slammed every wannabe that throws shade to effects pedals.

Good sounding pedal but Skynyrd (Allman Bros etc) didn't have "signature tones". Any old Fender tube amp cranked loud will do those guys just fine :)

I’m don’t believe you , I think you are lying for some reason ….

Meditate 🧘
Thank you 🙏🏼 can’t stand or support companies that do that.
If you want to sound like Skynyrd just go buy an old Peavey
You mean pevalley 😂🤘
Not hearing Skynard 🤷
This circuit has been replicated to death. Ugh.
No Skynyrd here
