    There are countless pedals on the market but very few stand out and the good folks at MLA have some of the best pedals, amps, and pups that you can find.
    Andy did an excellent job with his playing and highlighting the versatility of the Eliminator. Great work.

    Love it! It sounds like it nails Billy’s tone, but Andy, your playing certainly also helps!

    I have each of the Eliminator pedals and have to say i absolutely love this one. I nail a lot of tones.

    Super sweet pedal!
    (But I'm only watching to get tips on how to noodle around on the fretboard!)
    Big THANKS, Andy!! 😄

    You’re a gem Andy. I just hope they don’t get a C&D from ZZTop.

    Love the art on the pedal. Pedal sounds great. But Andy could make a Metal Zone sound amazing! 🎵🎶

    Sounds awesome - I was hoping for some super low gain settings though, as it piqued my interest as a pedal that would be flexible enough to also just use to germaniumify my rat or use as a barely-hairy boost with all that volume on tap.

    What a great video.. some really kick ass tones here... And your playing is very good..quick question if you wouldn't mind helping me out.. i cant decide between this and the mythos chupacabra.. wondering which you would choose for overall zz top style tones.. the both sound good.. new subscriber from the UK..

    • @AndyDemos
      @AndyDemos  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello David, thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Great question, I haven’t played the Chupacapbra but it sounds more on the fuzzy/tweed side of Gibbons where this is a tighter distortion circuit (it doesn’t squish the low end as much). Both can touch on the many different tones he’s had over the years. Good luck!

    Well, it sounds ace and a great demo. I am a bit confused about all this germanium stuff. Is both germanium transistors and diodes sensitive to temperature and buffered signal (I am using a wireless system)?

    • @AndyDemos
      @AndyDemos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ge is temperature sensitive, yes! However, it's more an issue with Ge transistors which can dramatically change in extreme cold/heat. Diodes may change or clip less but it's hardly an issue. The reaction to a wireless system has to do more with the circuit design and input impedance rather than the choice of components. Every pedal reacts differently and I don't have a wireless to test pedals with.

    Do they ship in EU? Also can you demo their Allman brothers stuff? Amps, pickups, pedals etc

    • @stevetuttle4200
      @stevetuttle4200 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe so. They shipped to me in the Middle East.

      There aren’t any covers here but definitely borrowing elements from ZZ’s La Grange and Tush! Thank you 🙏

    Is this an Expandora circuit clone?

    • @AndyDemos
      @AndyDemos  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, that one is quite different - 3 opamps and more clipping etc. I’d say this one is after Gibbon’s 70-80s pre-Expandora days.

  • @Kuztomshop

    I generally refrain from negative comments, but these guys are known for saying Germanium when there isn't any in the pedal, literally none.

    • @AndyDemos
      @AndyDemos  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not so sure about that, at least not in the Ge models I've tested out. Check out the Ge diode in my photo at 02:13. I've also looked inside the Ge Hotlanta LE and you can see a pair of Ge diodes. My guess is the person saying this doesn't know the difference between transistors and diodes. Let me know if you have any other info, thanks!

    Nice sounding pedal but I don’t hear Billy

    • @loulagro2315
      @loulagro2315 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That's because a) Billy is not playing, and b) Andy is not trying to be a Billy Gibbons cover band. It's about a pedal getting the vibe of a cranked early 70's Marshall doing Texas blues rock in the "vein" of ZZ Top..... And it succeeds.... What were YOU expecting?

    Be careful with this company as they do not stand behind their work...all basic.much better builders out there.
