I'm really glad that we get to see more of aerith's back story. I always got the idea that her cheerful personality was a sort of coping mechanism to hide tragedy.

This once again proves how inherently good hearted Aerith is. Being held captive by Shinra and watching her own mother die at a young age, and shes still such an optimistic and bright person. Sure Elmyra tried to give her all the love she could, but experiencing such traumatic things at such a young age often leaves scars that cannot be healed.

I love that in this remake, Tifa is holding some accountability for her choices, even if I I don't think they were bad, and Elmyra doesn't either.

between Tseng's age of 15-30 no change in his looks. kinda freaks me out cause Aerith was 7 in the flashback and looks somewhat different when she is 22. in conclusion Tseng doesn't age

I never even met Elmyra’s husband but legit the scene where she discovered he was killed in the battlefield gets me every time. Something about the voice actress’s delivery hits amazingly.
