I think it's really cool to rescue these old bikes and give them a new life. It also gives someone an opportunity to buy an inexpensive and sorted bike to ride. Good job Joe !

$100 you cant knock that,wish i could find these bargain bikes.Even if it didnt run you could make loads from the parts from it,win win in my eyes.
My dad got one just like it for 900 bucks. It was basically mint, just needed tires and wouldn't idle at first. No rust, everything functioned. It had the, in my opinion, much superior blue and white plastics.
Scammers end up in jail, broke, no friends, no equity and usually drugged out homeless. You on the other hand will do great things. 75 bucks was a reasonable price for an education that has taught you something for life.

13:30 all tires produced contain a 4 digit code which has the date of when they were manufactured. The first 2 numbers represent the week and the last 2 represent the respective year. Thought I might just throw that out there.
The off/run button is only supposed to kill the igntion / spark.. The key is what disables the starter. Its working like it was designed
ATC 70 is what I had when I was like 5 and it was the best thing I've ever owned and I still have it somewhere

Dual brake on right is front front brakes they take 2 different cables for the 2 drums and the one on the left is for the rear brake and only has one drum and one cable

Man i have one YFA125 Breeze. Seems like a poor quad ? Yes , is it ? No. My grandad bought it in 98, rode it almost everyday (it was his "wheelchair"). When he died my brother started to ride it in the trails, he did it for several years and ended up to daily doing 90km to home-work-home for 1year. When i did 16 i started to ride it as well atm im 23 years old (same as the bike) and for over these 20 years only replaced 1 cylinder, spark plug and starter engine clutch. Doesnt go for more than 60-70km/h but i dont need more up in the trails. Awsome quad, very reliable and great to start in the atv wordl
Great grab dude $100 you can't beat that for a running machine. I love the Yamaha Breeze 125 my brother had one. I had a 1987 Honda TRX 125 that went everywhere when I was 16 years old. I got a Yamaha RT 100 2 stroke dirt bike a couple years ago at a garage sale for $100 the kid couldn't get it running brought it home cleaned the carburetor put new reeds in it and spark plug and it started right up got to love those buys. Also the same thing a couple weeks ago with a Eton Thunder 90 2-stroke quad. The best thing about smaller ATVs and kids quads there an easy flip they sell fast. There's good deals out there you just got to look for them. keep doing what you doing dude
lights will work you just have to throttle it when it running more you throttle more it gets brighter
Best bet pull off plastics right away, easy to do, and re install.. Will need the room.
Had one of those as a kid then shortly after upgraded to a 160 quadrunner both were fun but the little 160 quadrunner was a blast
This video just gave me the courage to rebuild my 2001 E ton dxl 90, it’s pretty rare and it needs a lot, but now I think I can do it. Keep up the good work, I love your vids!

I can remember wanting one of these for a first quad. I really wanted a Mojave 250, but knew that was a pipe dream. Ended up with some strange 80's quad with a gas tank in the rear of the quad was a constant Wheelie due to the weight being too much in the rear of the quad. It was a 300 quadrunner chain driver. Anyhow have a good one 2vintage.
bought mine used for about $100. just needed a battery, the rear shock, and swing arm. fixed it up and she runs almost perfect! most fun $100 ive spent so far.
Try some kinda tape on intake leak... like a heat shrink type deal... hit it with heat gun...
I enjoy watching your videos. Instead of pouring fuel through a hose, look into getting an irrigation bottle. It makes life so much easier.

Use a 50/50 mix of paint thinner and boiled linseed oil on those Yamaha fenders. Just apply with an old rag scrub with some decent pressure and let dry for 10 mins and wipe off. You wont be disappointed trust me

The off button does work it just kills the spark. Mines the same way

You should be able to file a charge back on the card you used to send the funds. If your bank has an app it could possible be done through that or by calling visa/MC. It will take time but maybe you could get the $ back. As a man of principal I would try. Keep on with the great content!

Got my youngest son a fourtrax 125 when he was in middle school. Got one of those later on. Half the quad the honda was.
When you cap your hand over the end of the carb it acts as a choke that’s why it starts up and I always clean the carb first thing when buying a atv that has sit for a long period of time cause you don’t want to suck all that junk in the valves and cylinder from the carb and ultra black silicone on the intake boot will seal it long enough to see how it runs it’s pressure resistant and impervious to fuel

Hey man it’s real easy to unlock the brakes it takes about 10 mins just with a flat head screw driver and a Channellocks and just let the pressure off the brakes off the brake cylinder in the back
I see a lot of spray paint and wd-40 in its future
i have a breeze too they are so fun they can do wheelies and do good offroad
One is for the back and the other is for both front breaks
Take the heatgun to the red plastics and bring the color back. Just be careful not to melt them.

The reason there are two front brake cables is each cable goes to one drum brake on each front wheel it’s an outdated and bad system and it’s a good thing we have hydraulic brakes on ATVs and dirt bikes

Twin cables are the front brake and the single cable is tha rear brake
Use pb blaster or a little bit of marvels mystery oil down the plug hole not wd

We used to have Yamaha breeze, in rough shape, we didn’t need it anymore, my brothers outgrew it, but we are keeping our grizzly 125 which is in decently good shape and since I’m still young, 12, I still play with it loads and it’s a nice lil thing to whip round my grandads farm, my parents bought land to build a huge house on, he also has 3 much bigger quads
the engine stop button is to stop the engine not the electrics. the starter will still spin but the engine won't fire when the switch is in the off position.
Nice! Ever run into a spark issue with the small older quads, the Chinese 250cc wire cdi rectifier all will.work. stator is the only thing that wont. Honda in the mid 80s and early 90s are close in the color of the replacements. I have a 84 trx 200 and 125 I'm working on restoring. I had to use the kit do to no replacement OEM parts on the 125 that I could find.

Was a risk to buy.
It needed bearing front and rear...
And didnt start.
Did thr bearing cleaned carb. later found ou the fuel was old and separating and made my carb dirty again so empty it cleaned the fuel tank, runs fine now. Plus had good rear tires. And 1 front tyre bald and one in good shape. (i guess from driving with with fuked bearings) and has a rear rack.
Cant let good deals slide.
Man I can't believe how good that renew all worked on those plastics! I just picked up the same bike for my daughter that been sitting a long time as well. Going to have to get that stuff for the plastics cuz they are oxidized as all hell. Cool channel just subbed👍
Last year I bought a Suzuki 160 for 50 dollars brought it back home cleaned the carburetor and it fired up an ran like it was brand new

Reason why is too on that one lever is cuz it's too brake drums on east side of the front tire in the one on the left side is for the back brake
I picked up a 80 PE250 hasn’t been ridden since 83 complete with extras an ownership trading it for a warrior tomorrow a more minty one then yours aha but I’d love to see some more vids on that an see if the front wheel pops up aha

I got a challenge for you so I have a 1988 Yamaha blaster 200 it runs but the clutch doesn’t ingage I can still shift through gears but only when the engines off so the clutch doesn’t engage where I can shift into gear
