I did labor work for setup and take down for side cash for many mobile DJs. Most did all sorts of events between 50-500 people. Small setups were always 2 - 12” tops or 2 - 15” tops. Nobody ever used 15” subs because they always used 18” subs, Medium setups were usually 2 tops and 2 subs. Large setups was usually 4 tops and 4 subs. JBL, QSC, Yorkville, EV, RCF all got used. Some used 8” and 10” speakers for side fills or for monitors. 12” and 15” were always for main tops. Dual 18” subs rarely got used, I have even seen single 21” subs as well which rarely got used also. Few had cargo vans, box trucks, and trailers to pull heavy equipment. Most common speakers were QSC K12 or RCF HDM45A and most common subs were QSC KW181 or Yorkville ES18P. Basically to sum it up, 8” and 10” tops are rare, 12” and 15” tops are mains. 15” and 21” subs are rare, 18” subs are mains.
Guys keep in mind that it's very easy to overdo things at weddings. When I first started out I used to bring big systems and when I got there I often discovered that the venue or the crowd did not want to get blasted out of the place. Often my systems were overkill. I learned that it's better to just bring enough. That also allowed me to play solo without an assistant since the setup was easier and lighter. So now I use an RCF Evox 8 and will sometimes bring my 15 inch sub. The Evox gets the job done at weddings and bdays of 100 or even 150 guest. The way that I play I like to push bass so I like to bring that sub. It would be cool to have an 18 inch sub or two but now the setup turns into a 2 man gig. I should mention that I push the Evox to it's max with my crowds of 100 to 150.
Yeah, I'm torn between that huge boom or get that boom at a smaller compact system. I totally want the QSC KS118's but then I'm thinking do I really need that? I already Have 2 older JBL EON518 subs and they are light at 65 lbs but I bet there are nice 12" and 15" subs that are light and probably louder with deeper bass than what I already have at a more portable and easier set up. It is so hard as a mobile DJ without a huge van and time and man power LOL The casters on the QSC's make sense and help roll in other equipment but if there are stairs I can at the moment carry my JBL's solo up stairs as i used to stopre them in the basement and carry them up each gig LOL Bad set ups Now they are in my garage or my storage unit. - DJEmir.com of DenversBestDJs.com
I use either use 2 12” EV Tops or QSC’s for Weddings one trick I learned over the years is not to have your speakers at ear or face level with the guest. My son who does my setup for me is 6’4” tall and the bottom of the speakers are near the middle of his forehead. We have been complimented on this because we weren’t blasting out the eardrums of the guest and the music fills the room. As for sub(s) for a wedding depending on the venue we use 1 12” sub. Proms/Semi Formals we will use 4 12” EV Speakers and 2 18” subs again that’s for a large Venue for medium size venue we drop back down to our normal setup described above. All the music is concentrated towards the dance floor. It’s not how loud you can make the music it’s the clarity of the music.
Nice job, been doing this 20 years and nice to have an accurate instruction for all the new guys thinking that a pair of entry level speakers and a laptop gets them ready for any size/type of gig.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
Your vids are by far the best unbiased reviews. Lemme tell ya, I've been through the rabbit hole with dj stuff for several weeks and your videos are bullsh*t free. Thank you.
Over my 20 years of DJ experience, I have done 12 different weddings with over 500 people. The largest was right at 1000 people at a wedding. This is not uncommon here in Nebraska. I have run a full Peavey passive system and I am watching your video to get some info on switching to lighter weight powered speakers. I am doing a lot of research on the best options. I have someone trying to tell me a portable line array system is the way to go. I am not completely sold on that idea just yet. What are your thoughts?
When I do medium/large indoor or outdoor events I've used 2 x k12.2 with 4 x kw181 was more than enough If I need more bang i use the same setup just with jbl prx
@@leannepalmieri it really depends on your budget. My kw181 (discontinued) have never failed me indoor or outdoor. I also use jbl tops/bottoms, they seem to have throw further especially when used outdoors than my qsc
@@chrisb3189 honestly never measured and I probably never would. Every space/venue is different and you should see/hear the venue for yourself vs trying to do the math on paper.
I use touring level speakers to do my Weddings & corporate events (most Weddings are ~100-150 people but I often work with corporate crowds of 500-1000). I don't use the same speakers for each event though, my typical Wedding setup is 2x d&b audiotechnik E8 (tops), 2x d&b audiotechnik E15-X (subs) and 1x d&b audiotechnik D20 amplifier. This small touring grade system (8" tops and 15" subs) will easily cover up to 250 people. It costs more than double what a typical 'pro level' DJ setup does but it's much higher quality sound (from actual frequency response to transients, mid-range resolution, non harsh HF and better dispersion) and in a much lighter package (tops are 16lbs, subs are 53lbs each with a single 4ch 22lbs amplifier to power everything). Not all touring systems need to be big and heavy. For a large corporate event I'll use a pair of Q7 tops, 4x B6 subs and then have my E12-D and E8 as side-fills on a smaller D6 amplifier. I know what you're saying about us being here to make money, but you only have to buy the speakers once. I see A LOT of DJs sink thousands into a PA system only to do the same again 2 years later when something newer comes out. The last d&b E series speakers were released over 10 years ago and the design hasn't changed, Q series was released in 2003 and discontinued in 2015. They don't release a new model of the same speaker every year the way the lower end companies do. Over the course of 5-10 years the total bill won' t be much different to what I've spent. My speakers hold their value too, so if I go to sell them I know I'm getting a bigger percentage of the initial cost back. d&b actually raise their 'new' prices ~5% across the board every year so a £1000 speaker bought today may cost £1250 after 4-5 years, that means I can sell it for closer to the £1000 mark in 5-10 years time. DJ level speakers tend to go DOWN in price in my experience (I'm pretty sure QSC K series was more expensive when it was initially launched compared to just before it was discontinued, for example).
@@BAADSessions ... I’m hearing bass boss subs are monsters crushing everything a friend of mine runs a club here in Virginia and brought two of the high powered double 18 bass boss subs for the clubs install and maaaaaaaan that shit shakes shit literally lol very very pricey tho
@@hollywoodthedj1673 Bassboss are good, nowhere near the best but they're decent. I'd suggest Meyer's subs are absolutely the finest typical form factor subs. Their tech is second to none. After that I'd examine Danley's extraordinary subs, as well as dance club rigs like Function One.
Outline v10 kit and v15 kit are Touring grade small soundsystems, perfect for djs with a lot of Bass and excelent quality. Very pratical, active subs, passive tops. You just need a speakon cable from sub to top, and then xlr to the mixer
I'm experimenting with a EXTRMELY modular and portable setup where I have MANY speakers that run on lifepo4 batteries and also can run lighting due to each having an inverter. I have 4 sets put together. They each consist of a 10 inch sub on 900w RMS and a 6.5 inch woofer, and two 4 inch mids(200w RMS). Each one seems to be good for up to 100 people. the setup actually doesn't consist of a single PA speaker at all and people LOVE it.
Hello there !! I don't know what to do , need help. I am looking for a party speakers or speaker. I dont know jbl partybox is enough or pa speakers with Bluetooth is better? Any help?
Very interesting. I like to build the boxes and chose the speakers. I now live in the Philippines and most of my gigs are in open basketball courts. Therefore, we use four times 18 inch and 2 times 21 inch for subs. A double jbl 15 inch and double jbl 12 in for upper base and and hell of a lot of mid tops boxes. We use the old school stacking system as we can fly, but our tops are still 8, 9 feet in the air.
Merry Xmas DJ rick! I am a newbie as far as djaying. I am just a karaoke dj. I am currently using a pair of Mackie thump 245 speakers. I am not contended with the sound of it as if the sound is suppressed. I am planning to sell it and change it to JBL - IRX ONE All-In-One Portable Bluetooth Line Array Speaker System with 3-Channel Mixer. Do you think this is a way to go? Thanks
I ran 4 x 15" Active Tops and one 15" AVE subwoofer for an outdoor fight night event 500 plus people. Lets just say my speakers were hurting by the end of it lol
For those of you who want/are DJing for School Dances 600+ kids BUT you can't afford pro-level touring speakers. I suggest going to a Passive PA system (Separate amplifier, Separate speakers). For 800+ people, I use Cerwin Vega V-253 dual 15 tops powered by a Crown XTi 4002 and I get up to 134 dB SPL
I have EV ZLX 15" top, ALTO 15" combined with B52 HD 18" folded horn sub. All powered. I have done house parties, venues & lounges about the size of a starbucks, and outside parties. The folded horn sub has a long throw on it. I've always gotten compliments on how clear my sound is. I will be getting a second B52 HD 18" soon.
Rolled with QSC’s for years! K10’s for small gigs and ceremonies.. K12’s for most weddings/larger events. I upgraded to the K12.2’s and regret it! The sound was just not as “full”... legacy 12’s are hard to find. What’s the go to “catch all” speaker that’s comparable to the K12. Considering a line array system.
I love the OG K12’s I have two looking for two more soon they sound good and they get the job done They have always held me down I also have 4 Qsc KW 15’s for larger events that I bring out with my passive Yorkville bass scoops and I do very well with what I have!
DJ Rick, I have to respectfully disagree on using column array speakers outdoors. First the reasons. 1 An array speaker has a tighter pattern. A vertical array has a reduced vertical dispersion. This is great outdoors for ceremonies for better reach to the back rows as less power is shot into the sky. 2 Indoors one placed horizontally can reach better in a long narrow room with less power thrown against the side walls making bad reflections in the rear. We all have had to deal with the long narrow chapel. Raise an array and place it horizontal. This can be useful indoors and in some outdoor settings depending on the seating spread for a ceremony. Small arrays are not disco dance speakers. Don't even consider it. They are more useful where a controlled sound pattern in the midrange is desired.
Alot of talking about speakers size, brands, this and that but you are missing the most important thing. A good music engineer doest care about brand and sizes. He cares for what he has and most important about decibels , because that is what a great engineer works DECIBLES 😉
Those QSC K12's have been the best investment I have made as an upgrade I got the original K12's version 1's and they pretty much kill every event just fine solo even without a sub, I pair them with my JBL Eon 518 18" subs and it is enough to do just about any size event, I recently added two JBL Eon 712's ( I was looking for QSC K12.2's but they didn't have any at Guitar Center due to pandemic related supply issues :( I needed the two extra speakers that day because they surprised me with we need indoor and outdoor and a turn around the corner outside as well, turns out I probably could have used my 8" KRK studio monitors to add sound to the indoor and the two QSC and Two subs filled everything outside just fine so I probably could have waited for another event for the QSCs to become available. One thing that helps is adding the Ultimate Speaker stands as you can set the speaker then raise the poles very easily. I have had to lower the volume multiple times at outdoor events as the QSC's even at half 12 o'clock position is usually more than enough for most events, paired with two QSC KS118's. or JBL VRX subs will do just about anything. Maybe add two extra tops and spread them a little further out. Love to move to the touring side but getting that touring money is the hard part. DJEmir.com DenversBestDJs.com
Some venues in our area do not allow subs, so as the DJ we have to honor the Venues rules. It’s not what we want it’s what we are allowed to use. One venue we did a wedding at the max db level we were allowed to hit was 80db. We were not allowed to bring our speakers in also NO SUBS. The venue informed us the day of wedding about these restrictions also they informed us they have their own audio system, which were 2 12” Berhinger speakers mounted horizontally on opposite walls of the venue approximately 20 to 25 feet off the floor. The speakers were mounted facing each other, as for the speakers where the guests were seated the venue had small round speakers in the drop ceiling and about 8’ apart and staggered throughout that area.
Very informative, I used to use 2 x Mackie 15s for pub gigs with a small band set up. I recently bought an old PA system made up of 2 Peavey pro 15, 1 QTX sub 15 & 2 Alpha SM12 wedge monitors. It is old equipment & im looking to use it for band function events, till I can buy some more modern speakers.
I still use jbl jrx125 , but I upgraded the drivers to Selenium D220Ti 1" Titanium Horn Driver for the top & the mids JBL 2226H 15" High-Power LF Driver.
It's true that sound perception is subjective, but that's why we have standards and scientific ways of measuring what good sound sounds like. You could always try to tune a room flat and set that as a benchmark and move from there based on what you like the most. Using tools such as Smaart and inexpensive calibration mics can take you long ways on that path.
I need a pa system for only 20 to 40 max people in a medium size room but i want to blow their chest open with a sharp clear bass, i need that each drum kick takes the air out their lungs. what would be good?
Thanks for this video. I have a question. I play acoustic guitar and I need a speaker for only me and singer. Maybe keyboard that all. And about coffee shops where we play. I am looking domething portable but good quality. Thanks
Great video. Thanks. Please may I ask you this important question. Am a pastor and I am setting up a small church - like a small parlor size and I have two 15 inch subwoofers, would it be okay for me at this stage of the church? I really wish you could reply. Thank you.
I have an RCF Evox 8 and just ordered an Evox 8 JMix. I sing as I DJ so I use a QSC K10 as floor monitor.Combined weight is just a little over 100 lbs.Talk about portability. Can’t wait to use the built in mixer. Now I can remove my E.Q.,Sonic Maimizer. The Soundcraft mixer from the rack.Considerably lighter.Have two yorkville subs to add for larger crowds over 250.
I have two tops with 15 inch emminence kappa pro speakers in oldschool HK boxes and two rcf l18s801 subwoofers in 2 custom build rcf 8001 boxes How much people can I do with this setup I just got it
You should do a video on what equipment to use for a local bar setting. I'm looking to open up a music venue and I've just been guessing on what equipment to buy and slowly been steered the right way but I still know I got a lot to learn.
i need a speaker for dance party for 80 people. can a 400 budget get me something that sounds crisp and clear and has bass? what model would you recommend... its for a large pool area that is on a massive open yard
Beginer mistake. I had just built my quad 12" tops, with a set of 2 15" subs I had made special enclosures for (hit 13hz during testing), a About 45% of power output, and people where telling me it was too loud. I totally overkilled the small venue with 100 people. I was just trying to offer my best product. Now on the other hand, I tried to make a deal with my friend (sound engineer) in a small town (mostly outdoors events), his immediate response, You're gonna need a digital processor and better bass speakers. And the now, Im building the 4th 18" box to start school dance promotions for the upcoming year graduations.😅. Lesson learned, most American weddings don't really need a big investment.😊 On the other hand, school dances DO require a big investment.🎉
Hi Rick, thank for share your experience, hi, my friends doing rghtmic ghymastic competition. carpet measurements of 14 x 14 meters. I bought from FB skytec pro 600 amplifier 2×300w 8ohm, and 12" sound lab B115B 150w rms 8ohm spekers and Behringer DX626 mixer. it is very big room with 200-300 peoples. is it enough this systems for competition or upgrade more spekers for every corner on the carpet. Thanks
What do you think about the harbinger vari4412 and 4415? A lot of people don't recommend them and if you did recommend it, what category would you consider it to be beginner or intermediate? I'm not sure what the difference is between beginner Pro and intermediate with the exception of wattage and box volume + motor and voice coils on the drivers. With that said, every manufacturer uses fake wattage so it's hard to discern which ones are better with just specs. Some people exaggerate more than others just like companies....
Hi Rich Where would you put the Maui 28 G3 in this presentation? Would you do an Afro Latino dance school party indoor and outdoor with this Maui 28 G3? Or you recommend more to have 2x RCF 712 + 1x 705 sub or maybe more the RCF 9 series or 2x ELX/EKX 12P + 1x ELX/EKX 15 sub ? As you can see I'm a bit lost here. But the application is not for a wedding it's for Salsa Bachata UrbanKiz and Reggeaton. I do indoor event around 100 people but also outdoor event with 250 people. I also look for portability because I will carry always these babies with me in European SUV Can you give me your advice on speakers please ?
I wish we only had 100 - 150 people. Most of the India weddings have 400+ people -- 2 RCF 945a with 2 YorkVille ES21P, and sometimes 4 RCF 945a with 4 YorkVille ES21P.
I'm not a DJ, but want nice sound for my wedding of 90 people. I am looking at a pair of Polk T-50 or Polk Monitor Series 60 II speakers. Will these work? Room is 40'x25' or so. Thanks!
My best equipment is: For tops: 2 RCF 945, Subs: 2 Qsc 118. Believe me, you can easily handle 500-600 people in a large venue. And Easily 400-500 people for open environments. I am planning to buy another 2 RCF and 2 Qsc. Only because i love too much this combination jaja
@@Andrew-cz4vp Hi bro, i completely changed my mind about the Turbosound Iq15 I previously said for tops. These are not what i expected. Instead what I can TOTALLY recommend you RCF for tops, WHAT AN INSANE COMBINATION! Believe me, you can throw Hip hop, rap, Techno and it will sound fantastic
Hi Rick, I just started VJing this year. I am booked for my first large room gig at a casino club and am not interested in beginner speakers. What would you recommend for me to purchase, with aspirations for casino clubs, school dances, and weddings, but still have the clarity (highs-mids) for karaoke which will likely be my most frequent gig work whilst in the start-up and marketing phase for more frequent larger events? I am 6'2 220lbs so weight is not a huge factor for me. Need max dbs and clarity as priority. Happy Holidays BTW...
Cant go wrong with rcf hd 45s. Unless you want subs to or a column array. Ld systems maui 44 g2 are amazing. The 28 g3s are also solid but for smaller rooms.
Nice video Maybe you can help me. I’m more into car audio. I’m building a gym at home 15 x 20‘ room What would you recommend buying for the price. Something I can mount on the wall with good punch & nice clarity
Great explanation, thank you. I use 2 Presonus 15" AIR tops with 18" Presonus AIR subs and can generally easily handle up to to 300 people indoors and 250 outdoors.
Have you ever played with the FBT Mitus system? I’ve heard this at a show with a 15inch top and duel 18 bottom and sounded amazing. Would love to see a video on this?
Bro, i need an affordable PA System for a church, it's a huge old church, power here can be a problem... And also is for around 100-150 attendants... I play guitar, my girlfriend piano, we use backing tracks and both sing, we have a mixer... I only need a PA speaker that allows me to have a clean sound for this, not so much power... What you recommend me??? please help
Spot on about the Evolve 50s. Overpriced and doesn’t compare to a separate sub/speaker system. After 2 years of playing with bands both indoors and outdoors we went to QSC 12.2. These project far enough that we can play outdoor festivals and still be heard at the bar far away from the stage. Also, we got our midrange back. The 200HZ crossover is not to my liking on the Evolve 50. We are currently researching putting together a smaller system for outdoor patio type gigs with just a few musicians. Thank you for this video. It really helps.
Hi there, I'm leading a group of high school poprock band. We're planning to do a short gig on assembly stage once per week. Any recommendations on mics and portable battery lowered speaker for vocalist? During practise with our current speaker, her vocal is overwhelmed by other music instruments, we have electric guitar (lead),acoustic guitar with amp (rhythm), electric bass and a drum kit. Will not them perform as long as this isn't resolved😅
OP, I’m not sure if you can answer this for me, but I’m looking for either a PA system or something like a JBL Partybox to use as speakers for an outdoor projector for the occasional movie night. Do you have any suggestions?
Depends. I recommend the party boxes all day long. I have a bunch of friends of course that ask me about speakers for personal use and thats my go to. It never disappoints.
Have you ever used 2x LD systems Maui-44 column at a wedding for 200 or less indoors, or one for ceremony /cocktails outdoors? you will be impresses but the subs are 40KG . I still use 2x Mackie SRM450 V2 (Yes got them 12 years ago) and i have a single KV2 Audio EX2.2 bass which is good for 300+ indoors. one of the original Speaker designers for RCF, George Krampera, worked for Mackie and then started his own Speaker company KV2 Audio. These are in the SRX class but a bit better and their 10" and 12" full range are incredible. 130dB spl on the 12" but super expensive. worth the money.
Serious question : If i get a pair of these speakers Edifier R2850DB Subwoofer Supported Bookshelf Bluetooth Speaker Three Way (150W) How many people in an indoor medium sized room would it be good for?
Hi to you all im new to Djing and a noob when it comes to sound systems. I planing to host small outdoor partys for 3-500 peoples. We do raves and play only Techno and Psy if thats to any help. I like clear sound to point that out. I want to buy 2 top speakers 15" actice and 2 subs 18" can anyone here recomend somethin ? Thanks 🙏
@@DJRickWeb Thanka again. Have you heard about a brand named Subzero ? I looking at a Subzero 15" active DSP speaker and a 18" active DSP sub. The price is resonable but i not know about sound quality.
Great review! Which would you recommend for the beach and parties between the JBL PRX One and the JBL Ultimate PartyBox? I'm looking for rich sound with strong bass.
for any party i use my lg system 3500w is enough for me however if i’m outdoors i use my SOUNDBOKS 120db of sound is enough for outdoors however both of these speakers are £1000 each so not suitable for everyone’s budget
The real question is do you go with active or passive speakers? I use passive speakers but I am thinking about going with active powered speakers. I do use an active powered speaker for wedding ceremonies if it is an outdoor wedding with reception inside.
Mobile events under 500 active. Over that possibly passive. But mostly everything is going active for mobile production. Installed sound i would go passive though for flexibility
@@DJRickWeb I have a peavey pr15 passive system with a subwoofer and a peavey xlr 8300 600 watt powerhead. It fills any room with music. It’s a big passive system and I love using it. My hats off to you for explaining all of this sound equipment. Thank you so much and keep on rocking the DJ life. DJ Nate-Dawg out.
I’m a RCF guy. I run two RCF NXL 24 tops with two RCF 8005 subs for my large events and two RCF TT-25a tops and two RCF 8004 subs for my medium sized events. Anything less than that, I use Turbosound iq12 tops with the iq 18 sub

Thank you 😊
You rock. Thanks for the knowledgeable info

You did better job than the guy in the video.

Hey! Which Touring Grade speakers you recommend?
@@josealfredfernandes d&b audiotechnik is what I use and comes highly recommended. L’acoustics is another top brand.

JBL and EV is all I run. EV monitors work great for DJing, JBL highpaks run bands and live music.

"people absorb sound" haha I never realized that! Great video, very helpful. And also what a nice, humble guy
yeah, they do a LOT too, not just a little
Very interesting.
What kind of amplifier drive you set up😂😂😂
Merry Xmas DJ rick! I am a newbie as far as djaying. I am just a karaoke dj. I am currently using a pair of Mackie thump 245 speakers. I ran 4 x 15" Active Tops and one 15" AVE subwoofer for an outdoor fight night event 500 plus people. Lets just say my speakers were hurting by the end of it lol

2023 update: played a big party in January and ran into issues with clipping… so I upgraded to two Mackie SRM212’s, and two Mackie DRM 18s subs.
They are more useful where a controlled sound pattern in the midrange is desired.
yes, that is true! Thanks for the question
What kind of equipment is that laser shown around 0:30?

I have 2 yamaha dxr 15s and they do well. Thinking of buying thier 18 inch powered subs next
Alot of talking about speakers size, brands, this and that but you are missing the most important thing. A good music engineer doest care about brand and sizes. He cares for what he has and most important about decibels , because that is what a great engineer works DECIBLES 😉
Is it ok to go bigger and then turn the volume down
Those QSC K12's have been the best investment I have made as an upgrade I got the original K12's version 1's and they pretty much kill every event just fine solo even without a sub, I pair them with my JBL Eon 518 18" subs and it is enough to do just about any size event, I recently added two JBL Eon 712's ( I was looking for QSC K12.2's but they didn't have any at Guitar Center due to pandemic related supply issues :( I needed the two extra speakers that day because they surprised me with we need indoor and outdoor and a turn around the corner outside as well, turns out I probably could have used my 8" KRK studio monitors to add sound to the indoor and the two QSC and Two subs filled everything outside just fine so I probably could have waited for another event for the QSCs to become available.
Thank you bro I'm planning to buy two active speakers. Your video is helping a lot to make a good decision

Hi my man are the 2226Hs good for midbass of nah i like them but have never heard one or even a pair of them.

A lot of people don't recommend them and if you did recommend it, what category would you consider it to be beginner or intermediate?
I'm not sure what the difference is between beginner Pro and intermediate with the exception of wattage and box volume + motor and voice coils on the drivers.

HEY MAN BETWEEN 12" AND 15" WHICH ONES A BETTER FOR USE INDOORS AND OUTDOORS
On tops speakers
More on subs. If you have subs use 12s. If you have no subs 15s
Hahaha 😂 you were hilarious at 19:10 . I loved it hahaha 😂 Great video bro. But you're already a pro.
Serious question : If i get a pair of these speakers Edifier R2850DB Subwoofer Supported Bookshelf Bluetooth Speaker Three Way (150W)
How many people in an indoor medium sized room would it be good for?
What's your definition of small, med, large room?
the best speaker is Jbl srx812p. EV Etx is also a good speaker, but they are often faulty. Turbosound IQ is an interesting model.
Thanks 🙏
Uou cant buy any pair of tops and subs that can do 500. 300 people tops. You will need at least 4 subs to do 500.
Look into rcf gear honestly
@@DJRickWeb Thanks any models you thinking about ?
Art series or higher
I would love a soundbox but it’s just so expensive! But the watts and bass reviews are so good
They suck, put a k12 next to it, sounds wayy better, and are cheaper ;)
@@DJRickWeb I am a Audio Video Contractor and please NO active speaker for flying.
I’m a RCF guy. I run two RCF NXL 24 tops with two RCF 8005 subs for my large events and two RCF TT-25a tops and two RCF 8004 subs for my medium sized events. Anything less than that, I use Turbosound iq12 tops with the iq 18 sub
Nice set up👌
Rcf is best for me💪💪💪
RCf = quality
RCF 8000s are great im super jealo man
What do you think of the Yorkville Elite ES18P Subwoofer? I really appreciate your comment.
Never heard it
I've heard Yorkville Elite. Very very nice! Butt-kicking stuff!
@@DJRickWeb This is the best bass
Great bang for buck, great handles and wheels setup for easy maneuvering only if you have a trailer. 2 of them can cover a 500 person event max.
just thinking about contacting you... JBL srx900... 2 speakers and 2 subs...what you think... Nice that you support other people...
Havent heard the 900 yet but looks awesome
Hey Rick what subs should I pair Rcf Art945a
The 8003
