NO THERE IS NOT 3 TIMELINES You claim infinity energy only exists in the 3rd timeline? In Omega Rube/ Alpha Sapphire president stone states that the devon parts in Hoenn were invented using infinity energy and technology from the ultimate weapon 3,000 years ago in Kalos, the weapon that brought about Mega evolution. Yet the Devon parts exist in gen 3s ruby, Sapphire and Emerald... so Infinity Energy and the weapon MUST have existed in these universes too, meaning the Universe Zinnia references to where mega evolution doesn't exist and the war never happened CAN'T be the gen 3 games, meaning that there are not 3 different continuities. The games are potentially all on one continuity, with splits for the different games/ universes along the way, but all potentially in one world or all separate... but definitely not 3 timelines.
Why did you leave the original timeline out of the video? If they've been erased out of the timeline then so is Emmerald and the Battle Frontier because it does not appear in ORAS. You should do your work more properly.

I'm still not convinced that the Timeline is split like that. Sure some of the Remakes (ORAS and USUM) could be/are alternate "what if" timelines, but the main series I'm pretty sure are one linear timeline.
Delta Episode pretty much made a point saying that Mega and non-Mega timelines exist and are separate. Then we have dimension hopping Anabel in Sun and Moon, who came from Emerald in the different timeline.
pretty much actually. the megatimeline has events exclusive to it(pokemon origins and oras),but everything that takes place in gen6 and 7 can happen in the regular timeline(exception:wally is not in the battletree in regular timeline for obvious reasons)...and the games even directly require gen5 xD not even joking,the games literally make clear gen5 happens. and honestly,i still think that oras and x and y have a plothole since appearently megaevolutions are only in kalos until that point and fairypokemon were recently discovered...even tho that makes no sence at all. actually,thinking about it,origins actually supports x and y and goes against oras too,since it is stated that the megastone in that series was from kalos and that the research is still really early

Am not only saying that for the title, but at the very beginning it was said that the location of Let's Go was gonna be established at the very end, something that didn't happen. All that was said at the end was that it either replaced FR/LG or its is own universe but nothing was decided.

It's pretty freaking sure that Let's Go is simply part of the Infinity Dimension's R/B/Y with a slight timeline shift. Mina is featured as a young teenager, meaning it's definitely in the Ultra games' timeline and takes place a handful of years prior.
Problem is that we already know that Johto takes place 3 years after Kanto, which means Mina appearing as a 15 year old in SUMO, is a problem, since we know that in USUM, a trial captain cannot be older than 20.
I don't understand comments like this. Noone is perfect and alot had to be done for the video. That a few things may be mixed or or wrong, despite best efforts, is forgivable.

This was a very good video, barr some points that were not touched upon. An important thing to talk about is that the Ultra Wormholes allow different dimensions (or timelines) to interact with one another. The Ultra Beasts in Sun and Moon are attracted to those who have been teleported through these worm holes. The people are called Fallers. It is important to note that both Looker and Annabelle are heavily implied to be from the Advance timeline, and transported into the XY/ORAS/SM/USUM timeline, as they have both gone through Ultra Wormholes. This is why both Looker and Annabelle have lost their memories.
Actually, the Kalos War exists in both Universes/Timelines. The difference is how the war is ended. The other main difference is how Mega Stones came into existence: - Kalos-based Lore: Mega Stones were Basic "Evolutionary Stones" that were strengthened/irradiated by Xerneas/Yveltal's powers. - Hoenn-based Lore: During the second Confrontation between Groudon and Kyogre, a wealth of Natural Occuring Energy flooded the two with "Ancient Energy", reverting the two to their "Primal" Incarnations. Rayquaza was summoned by the Draconid People and upon Mega Evolving, quelled the two fighting Pokémon. Rayquaza devoured the Meteorites around the planet and ["pooped"?] Created the Mega Stones that can be found around the Pokémon World.
Yeah, they forget to get back to that. Basically: person stuck in the Ultra Wormholes for a long time while crossing universes will suffer from Amnesia. Anabel in Sun and Moon is the SAME Anabel from Emerald, which is now firmly in different timeline. She has suffered amnesia due to being lost in Ultra Wormholes before ending in the Infinity timeline. Now, Looker in ORAS was found lying in the beach on Battle Resort. Is he also a Faller, or is there some other reason for his amnesia?
@@Lahiss I think he was a faller because Anabel also stated she too lost her memory as well and can only slightly remember bits and pieces of the non mega evolution timeline. Looker literally forgets who he was and possibly the events in x and y and since the timeline is the infinity one has not technically met the 4th gen infinity protagonists yet so he wouldn't be from the original timeline like Anabel.
Let's Go probably takes place in the infinity timeline sometimes after ORAS and before the Johto events would have occurred in that timeline because despite differences Cinnabar Island will be destroyed at one point.

I believe that Pokémon takes place in a distant post apocalyptic future far away from now. This is just my opinion on what year or time period Pokémon takes place in. They seem to have everything we have in modern days, except there are Pokémon schools, Pokémon hospitals, etc. I believe that Arceus and Mew at some point in the mid to late 21st century would create the Pokémon world as we know.
As far as I am concerned, there are four timelines, without side games coming into play. There's the 2 classic generations, before Pokemon X & Y, and the 2 middle or Post Modern generations, Pokemon X & Y and every game after. The categories are split into two due to frequent sequels that change the canon.

Emma entered a ultra wormhole and dimension traveled her mom believed she died while looking for her through another wormhole that lead her to the world of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in Hoenn. Although it is the first of several timelines shes been in considering the knowlege she displayed on dimensions at the mossdeep lab. Also do you believe that if pkmn ORAS came out first and introduced us to all of this and implied alot more details of what happened to Zinnia and gave more introduction to her character throughout the game. It would make the story for x and y alittle better; And by better i mean less friends and more harsh interactions with a actual rival and not a friend. Some edits would have volcanion diance and hoppa in there respective locations. The steam factory in the Lumious badlands is the actual hideout for the true villans of Lumious and the abuse volcanion which is why he hates humans. Also team flare will actually be a threat by having diversity in typings so you can't be prepared for what they throw at you. Sorry this is so long
Okay, so here's a rough timeline, but I won't be taking Multiverse into account for this: Pokémon (F)R(L)GBY happen at the same time as Pokémon (O)R(A)SE, we know this because it was both confirmed by the Pokémon Company, and in FRLG they mention how you trade with Trainers from the Hoenn Region, instead of referring to a "Time Capsule" like with trading between RGBY and GSC. One year later, the events of Let's Go take place. We know this due to Sebrina mentioning that a Challenger will stand where you stand in 2 years time, illuding to (H)G(S)SC which happens 3 years after (F)R(L)GBY. At the same time as (H)G(S)SC, the events of DPPt are also taking place. We know this because of it not only being confirmed, but also having a News Broadcast of what's happening at the Lake of Rage in (H)G(S)SC. To be specific, DPPt doesn't start until right before the last badge in (H)G(S)SC, but ends before Jasmin mentions returning from the Sinnoh region in the Post Game. An unknown amount of years later BW takes place. And 2 years after that, B2W2 takes place at the same time as XY. Finally, 2 years later, we have the events of (U)S(U)M. So, to recap, the games are: (F)R(L)GBY = (O)R(A)S)E Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee (H)G(S)SC = DPPt BW B2W2 = XY (U)S(U)M

Quite good video to explain the timeline of Pokemon but there is still important things to precise for it to be fully true: 1 - There is necessarely one more timeline for the Advanced timeline and one more timeline for the Infinity timeline. Why? Simply because without it, you can't explain Diamond and Pearl, where Giratina never appears with them. And contrary to what has been said, there is no debate between Sun/Moon & Ultra Sun/Moon. Because the 2 stories can't fit together. In Sun/Moon, Lusamine is a psychopath who merges with an Ultra beast while in Ultra, she isn't really the bad guy and Necrozma is. And there is Ultra commando. And when you think about it, the best explanation is that there is a timeline almost identical for these 3 Timelines, where the events of the complementary versions happen: Yellow, Cristal, Emerald, Platinum. Because some events are different. After all being said, there is actually at least 6 major Timelines, not only 3: - The original Timeline: Green, Red, Blue, Gold, Silver - The paralel Timeline of the Original Timeline: Yellow and Cristal - The Advanced Timeline: Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Rubis, Saphire, Diamond, Pearl, Black, White, Black 2, White 2 - The Paralel Timeline of the Advanced Timeline: Emerald, Platinum - The Infinity Timeline: X, Y, Sun, Moon - The Paralel Timeline of the Infinity Timeline: Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon 2- Maybe it needs to be mentioned but each version of a game: Blue and Red for exemple, are also 2 different universe because they are a different version but still in the same Timeline. And there is again an infinity of paralel universes which correspond to each copy of the game and where you chose a different starter. But don't think about it because if you do, you lose your mind. 3- Concerning Rainbow Rocket and leaders of each team: Leaders of Team Aqua & Magma necessarely come from a paralel universe in the Advanced Timeline, since their design fit this one. And same for other leaders, they came from a paralel universe in their Timeline where they won against the trainer. 4- And about Ultra dimesions...yeah, it becomes very complicated. But to be simple, I think it's something like micro-dimesnsions which I assume exists in each timeline and copy of a game/universe, but are only discovered in the Infinity timeline with Sun/Moon and in it's paralel Timeline with Ultra Sun/Moon If you read this full diary of precisions about the Pokemon Timeline, you really like Pokemon, you're a super hero or you're just crazy. After the Arceus creation, the timeline splits in two; the War and the Non-War. The Non-War timeline was created because of Ghetsis. However, he ended up being resented and the games for Gens 1-4 take place. In the War one, it splits yet again; the Primal and the Mega. The Primal timeline has ORAS and USUM whereas the other has XY, SM, and Let's Go in it.
Actually Pokemon Let's Go is not a part of the real Pokemon games or its universes. Its a spin off. Its like asking "Where does Pokemon Shuffle fit into the canon universe?"

pretty much as next year is gen 8 so its not even start of one. like yeah its a spin off just for fun as all it is just gen 1 with megas and region varients. which is sad to not see more be added like dlc packs
actually,heartgold and soul silver kinda confirm that red does still got the pikachu and the three starters in the newer continuity,so gen1 and 2 are still in the same timeline....just that its basicly just the yellow information injected into the gen3 remakes. also,gen6 and 7 fit into the regular timeline too(and they even fit better there. the megatimeline has that nasty disconnect where gen6 acts as if all that stuff is new,despite oras taking place a few years ago and having more megastones than gen6 and fairys already in the mix. what a fail). also what is interessting is that the megatimeline starts with pokemon origins technicly,so we can assume that there are megatimeline events in johto since those events basicly just sequel everything red did(from discovering eggs on sevii islands,which was not shown in origins sadly,to beating team rocket)

No, it takes place in exactly in G1 story. It's that Red, Blue, and Green's journey started earlier than the events of the OG games. So early that the first pokedex wasn't ready for them. And never have to experience the main Team Rocket fiasco. Blue deciding to be a Gym Leader is a result of that journey. Another hint is that Sabrina mentions she'll never meet a trainer like you again in 3 years, referencing GSC/HGSS.

For the first time ever, she is canon in the new Let's Go timeline. Also, it's safe to say that Ultra Sun/Moon are the canon ones. The Giovanni from Team Rainbow Rocket is confirmed to be from the same timeline as Ultra Sun/Moon, which implies that Giovanni never tried to truly give up on him dreams of world domination. We see him in HG/SS preparing to go back to Team Rocket, then we see him again in B2/W2 after training a bit. He likely does the same thing in the Mega timeline, which all culminates in Team Rainbow Rocket forming.

In my opinion Red,blue,yellow,gold,silver and Crystal still can fit in the timeline with Sun,moon and Ultra Moon because with the Pokebank and poke transfer app you can send Pokémon from those games to the Sun and moon series of games.

USUM takes place in a different timeline to SM and I heard that the Giovanni you battle in Let’s Go is the same Giovanni from Episode RR. That could explain why Red and Blue don’t help you out to battle Giovanni cuz they didn’t disband Team Rocket in Let’s Go

Problem is that events/characters contradict eachother in some games. For example: Mega Evolution is created in Kalos, but we know that ORAS takes place before XY, because you create Mr.Bonding. Main problem with this is that Mega Evolution cannot exist in ORAS if its in the same timeline as XY, since you cannot explain the abscence of some ORAS Mega's in XY. This is the same in Lets Go. Mina appearing in Lets Go, contradicts the confirmation in USUM that a trial captain cannot be older than 20 and has to move on after that and we know that the gap between Lets Go Kanto and Lets Go Johto already is 3 years because of Sabrina and Mina is around 14 in Lets Go, which also contradicts the appearance of Red and Blue in SUMO and USUM, since they are around 25/30 there and their is also the fact that their teams are different. We know from concept art that Grimsley aged 2 years between BW or BW2 and SUMO and USUM. So that makes 5 years already. Then take Phoebe having aged visably between Sinnoh and Unova and it makes Mina appearing in Lets Go impossible for it being on the Mega timeline.

I have a theory Pokemon DP-USUM is one universe. ORAS is another version of Hoenn in a different universe; the ALIVE one The Pokemon Red/Blue-RS/ Emerald is the universe that ends up with the meteor and everyone dies, While in the ORAS timeline they survive. That ORAS timeline moves on to SM/USUM and then Lets go. The lets go games are the new/better versions of yellow, or the dead universe. So the Lets go games are the main universe's versions of Pokemon yellow, a better story. BTW if your wondering about Red and Blue, they are the younger versions of the ones in Pokemon SM/USUM. or the not-on a vacation versions if you will. Pokemon HG and SS is the main version of Gold and Silver. Pokemon DP/Platinum-USUM is the main universe we are in. Pokemon Red/Blue-RS is the dead universe. This was a very good video, barr some points that were not touched upon. An important thing to talk about is that the Ultra Wormholes allow different dimensions (or timelines) to interact with one another. The Ultra Beasts in Sun and Moon are attracted to those who have been teleported through these worm holes. The people are called Fallers. It is important to note that both Looker and Annabelle are heavily implied to be from the Advance timeline, and transported into the XY/ORAS/SM/USUM timeline, as they have both gone through Ultra Wormholes. This is why both Looker and Annabelle have lost their memories.
Actually, the Kalos War exists in both Universes/Timelines.
The difference is how the war is ended.
The other main difference is how Mega Stones came into existence:
- Kalos-based Lore: Mega Stones were Basic "Evolutionary Stones" that were strengthened/irradiated by Xerneas/Yveltal's powers.
- Hoenn-based Lore: During the second Confrontation between Groudon and Kyogre, a wealth of Natural Occuring Energy flooded the two with "Ancient Energy", reverting the two to their "Primal" Incarnations. Rayquaza devoured the Meteorites around the planet and ["pooped"?] Created the Mega Stones that can be found around the Pokémon World.

Anabel in Sun and Moon is the SAME Anabel from Emerald, which is now firmly in different timeline. She has suffered amnesia due to being lost in Ultra Wormholes before ending in the Infinity timeline.
Now, Looker in ORAS was found lying in the beach on Battle Resort. Is he also a Faller, or is there some other reason for his amnesia?

@@Lahiss I think he was a faller because Anabel also stated she too lost her memory as well and can only slightly remember bits and pieces of the non mega evolution timeline. Looker literally forgets who he was and possibly the events in x and y and since the timeline is the infinity one has not technically met the 4th gen infinity protagonists yet so he wouldn't be from the original timeline like Anabel.

I believe that Pokémon takes place in a distant post apocalyptic future far away from now. This is just my opinion on what year or time period Pokémon takes place in. They seem to have everything we have in modern days, except there are Pokémon schools, Pokémon hospitals, etc. I believe that Arceus and Mew at some point in the mid to late 21st century would create the Pokémon world as we know.

Although it is the first of several timelines shes been in considering the knowlege she displayed on dimensions at the mossdeep lab.
Also do you believe that if pkmn ORAS came out first and introduced us to all of this and implied alot more details of what happened to Zinnia and gave more introduction to her character throughout the game. It would make the story for x and y alittle better; And by better i mean less friends and more harsh interactions with a actual rival and not a friend.
Some edits would have volcanion diance and hoppa in there respective locations. The steam factory in the Lumious badlands is the actual hideout for the true villans of Lumious and the abuse volcanion which is why he hates humans. Also team flare will actually be a threat by having diversity in typings so you can't be prepared for what they throw at you.

Okay, so here's a rough timeline, but I won't be taking Multiverse into account for this:
Pokémon (F)R(L)GBY happen at the same time as Pokémon (O)R(A)SE, we know this because it was both confirmed by the Pokémon Company, and in FRLG they mention how you trade with Trainers from the Hoenn Region, instead of referring to a "Time Capsule" like with trading between RGBY and GSC.
One year later, the events of Let's Go take place. We know this due to Sebrina mentioning that a Challenger will stand where you stand in 2 years time, illuding to (H)G(S)SC which happens 3 years after (F)R(L)GBY.
At the same time as (H)G(S)SC, the events of DPPt are also taking place. We know this because of it not only being confirmed, but also having a News Broadcast of what's happening at the Lake of Rage in (H)G(S)SC. To be specific, DPPt doesn't start until right before the last badge in (H)G(S)SC, but ends before Jasmin mentions returning from the Sinnoh region in the Post Game.
An unknown amount of years later BW takes place. And 2 years after that, B2W2 takes place at the same time as XY.
Finally, 2 years later, we have the events of (U)S(U)M.
So, to recap, the games are:

Quite good video to explain the timeline of Pokemon but there is still important things to precise for it to be fully true:
1 - There is necessarely one more timeline for the Advanced timeline and one more timeline for the Infinity timeline.
Why? Simply because without it, you can't explain Diamond and Pearl, where Giratina never appears with them.
And contrary to what has been said, there is no debate between Sun/Moon & Ultra Sun/Moon. Because the 2 stories can't fit together. In Sun/Moon, Lusamine is a psychopath who merges with an Ultra beast while in Ultra, she isn't really the bad guy and Necrozma is. And there is Ultra commando.
And when you think about it, the best explanation is that there is a timeline almost identical for these 3 Timelines, where the events of the complementary versions happen: Yellow, Cristal, Emerald, Platinum. Because some events are different.
After all being said, there is actually at least 6 major Timelines, not only 3:
- The original Timeline: Green, Red, Blue, Gold, Silver
- The paralel Timeline of the Original Timeline: Yellow and Cristal
- The Advanced Timeline: Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Rubis, Saphire, Diamond, Pearl, Black, White, Black 2, White 2
- The Paralel Timeline of the Advanced Timeline: Emerald, Platinum
- The Infinity Timeline: X, Y, Sun, Moon
- The Paralel Timeline of the Infinity Timeline: Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon
2- Maybe it needs to be mentioned but each version of a game: Blue and Red for exemple, are also 2 different universe because they are a different version but still in the same Timeline. And there is again an infinity of paralel universes which correspond to each copy of the game and where you chose a different starter. But don't think about it because if you do, you lose your mind.
3- Concerning Rainbow Rocket and leaders of each team: Leaders of Team Aqua & Magma necessarely come from a paralel universe in the Advanced Timeline, since their design fit this one. And same for other leaders, they came from a paralel universe in their Timeline where they won against the trainer.
4- And about Ultra dimesions...yeah, it becomes very complicated. But to be simple, I think it's something like micro-dimesnsions which I assume exists in each timeline and copy of a game/universe, but are only discovered in the Infinity timeline with Sun/Moon and in it's paralel Timeline with Ultra Sun/Moon

After the Arceus creation, the timeline splits in two; the War and the Non-War.
The Non-War timeline was created because of Ghetsis. However, he ended up being resented and the games for Gens 1-4 take place.
In the War one, it splits yet again; the Primal and the Mega.
The Primal timeline has ORAS and USUM whereas the other has XY, SM, and Let's Go in it.

actually,heartgold and soul silver kinda confirm that red does still got the pikachu and the three starters in the newer continuity,so gen1 and 2 are still in the same timeline....just that its basicly just the yellow information injected into the gen3 remakes. also,gen6 and 7 fit into the regular timeline too(and they even fit better there. the megatimeline has that nasty disconnect where gen6 acts as if all that stuff is new,despite oras taking place a few years ago and having more megastones than gen6 and fairys already in the mix. what a fail). also what is interessting is that the megatimeline starts with pokemon origins technicly,so we can assume that there are megatimeline events in johto since those events basicly just sequel everything red did(from discovering eggs on sevii islands,which was not shown in origins sadly,to beating team rocket)

No, it takes place in exactly in G1 story. It's that Red, Blue, and Green's journey started earlier than the events of the OG games. So early that the first pokedex wasn't ready for them. And never have to experience the main Team Rocket fiasco. Blue deciding to be a Gym Leader is a result of that journey. Another hint is that Sabrina mentions she'll never meet a trainer like you again in 3 years, referencing GSC/HGSS.

Leaf is not canon whatsoever in the Advanced timeline (or the Mega timeline and first timeline) since she makes no appearances in any of those timelines. For the first time ever, she is canon in the new Let's Go timeline.
Also, it's safe to say that Ultra Sun/Moon are the canon ones. The Giovanni from Team Rainbow Rocket is confirmed to be from the same timeline as Ultra Sun/Moon, which implies that Giovanni never tried to truly give up on him dreams of world domination. We see him in HG/SS preparing to go back to Team Rocket, then we see him again in B2/W2 after training a bit. He likely does the same thing in the Mega timeline, which all culminates in Team Rainbow Rocket forming.

USUM takes place in a different timeline to SM and I heard that the Giovanni you battle in Let’s Go is the same Giovanni from Episode RR. That could explain why Red and Blue don’t help you out to battle Giovanni cuz they didn’t disband Team Rocket in Let’s Go

Problem is that events/characters contradict eachother in some games.
For example: Mega Evolution is created in Kalos, but we know that ORAS takes place before XY, because you create Mr.Bonding. Main problem with this is that Mega Evolution cannot exist in ORAS if its in the same timeline as XY, since you cannot explain the abscence of some ORAS Mega's in XY.
This is the same in Lets Go. Mina appearing in Lets Go, contradicts the confirmation in USUM that a trial captain cannot be older than 20 and has to move on after that and we know that the gap between Lets Go Kanto and Lets Go Johto already is 3 years because of Sabrina and Mina is around 14 in Lets Go, which also contradicts the appearance of Red and Blue in SUMO and USUM, since they are around 25/30 there and their is also the fact that their teams are different.
We know from concept art that Grimsley aged 2 years between BW or BW2 and SUMO and USUM.
So that makes 5 years already. Then take Phoebe having aged visably between Sinnoh and Unova and it makes Mina appearing in Lets Go impossible for it being on the Mega timeline.

Pokemon DP-USUM is one universe. ORAS is another version of Hoenn in a different universe; the ALIVE one
The Pokemon Red/Blue-RS/ Emerald is the universe that ends up with the meteor and everyone dies,
While in the ORAS timeline they survive. That ORAS timeline moves on to SM/USUM and then Lets go.
The lets go games are the new/better versions of yellow, or the dead universe.
So the Lets go games are the main universe's versions of Pokemon yellow, a better story.
BTW if your wondering about Red and Blue, they are the younger versions of the ones in Pokemon SM/USUM.

For me, Let's Go is in the Mega Evolution timeline, and is a prequel to Sun and Moon/US and UM. I think this because of how the moms look, the fact that they both have a Lt. Surge autograph, and how in the Sun and Moon/US and UM, they previously resided in Kanto. This is my head canon before I get into the video.
