This isn't my favorite part of the game, but instead the part I find most interesting is this Ryuki character we meet in the Pokemon League. Much like how the Strange Souvenir was the bridge to the Alola region from the Gen 6 games. I have a feeling Ryuki is the bridge to a possible Generation 8 game.

I strongly dislike the design direction of the new pokemon, I thought they would do a good job this time around since people complained about the small amount of pokemon last gen, and since last gen had great designs in general, I thought they would do a good job. this generation however is a waste of potential in my opinion, there also seems to be a lack of 3 stage pokemon and most of the new pokes seem to be unappealing.
