  • Frustrated with the number of objections you are getting in your Life Insurance Sales process? Others don't seem to have these same issues; they're getting great results and are making great money. This can be demoralizing, and these objections seem to keep you from the financial success you know is possible in this industry. We understand, and we can help!
Roger & Chris are in the studio today, fresh off an intense week of live coaching. We hosted an in-house telesales boot camp where we brought in 16 new agents, put them through rigorous training, and got them on the phones. Despite their initial nervousness, we provided scripts, dialers, and all the necessary tools to ensure their success.
The attendees wrote $28,000 in annualized premium on 27 applications in just a day and a half. Fourteen agents wrote business in total, many for the first time. This was a testament to the power of effective coaching and the transformative impact of our boot camp.
In this episode, Chris and Roger discuss a crucial element of our training: securing client commitment early in the presentation. We discuss agents' common challenges, such as clients wanting to "think about it" or postponing decisions due to budget concerns. We also explore the importance of tie-downs and micro-agreements that keep the client engaged and committed throughout the presentation.
We share practical examples of how to use tie-downs effectively. For instance, asking the client if they want to at least apply if the plan is affordable ensures a 99.9% close rate if they agree. It's about making positive statements followed by affirmative response questions to solidify the client's commitment.
We emphasize that as agents, it's our responsibility to guide clients through the process, ensuring they are with us every step of the way. We can prevent last-minute objections by checking in frequently, securing micro-agreements, and ensuring a smooth closing.
This episode is packed with actionable insights and strategies that can significantly improve your sales approach. Whether you're a seasoned agent or just starting out, mastering the art of tie-downs can elevate your sales game.

Im a life insurance sales manager. Im over 6 agents. All of them are new between 1 & 5 months. We sell to low income households. Most of our customers don't work & are surviving on social security checks. It has alot to do with the location. We have routes so our agents are only allowed to sell within a geographical area. So it limits to who we can sell to. Since agents aren't supposed to leave out of their area. We are a home based company. It makes selling a little harder. I could use some ideas on ways to get more sales.

I recently bought the no close presentation but I do Telesales will it still work?

    • @LifeInsuranceAcademy

Yes that presentation is great for Telesales

There’s just a few tweaks on the front end of the call where you’re verifying and confirming the information that they submitted so you can get recognition of why you were calling… but after the understand the purpose of your call the FE “no close” presentation works great. Just remembered to not skip over the questions at the bottom of each page.
